Mercy High School is a Roman Catholic college preparatory high school for girls in Farmington Hills, Michigan. The Sisters of Mercy opened Our Lady of Mercy High School in Detroit in 1945. The school moved to Farmington Hills in 1965.

Park West Gallery is a commercial art gallery based in Southfield, Michigan, United States. Park West Gallery claims to be the largest private art gallery in the world, but that is largely disputed, and that it has sold hundreds of works of art for thousands of dollars. It exhibits work from historic artists such as Renoir, Picasso, Rembrandt, and Durer as well as contemporary artists such as Peter Max, Michael Godard and Mark Kostabi. The gallery derives the majority of its revenue from auctions that take place aboard cruise ships.

Harrison High School (also known as Farmington Harrison) was a four-year secondary institution located in Farmington Hills, Michigan. It was part of the Farmington Public School District serving students from the cities of Farmington, Farmington Hills, and a portion of West Bloomfield Township. Harrison High School's mission was “to develop students to be caring and engaged learners who make informed decisions as they become internationally minded in their stewardship of the world and its resources." Harrison's mascot was the Hawk and its colors are green and gold. The school closed in 2019 and its building was repurposed into a recreation and performing arts center named The Hawk.

Nardin Park United Methodist Church is a Methodist church situated in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Nardin Park was first formed in 1927 by the union of two large churches in northwest Detroit - the Grand River Avenue Church, established in 1891, and the Ninde Church, organized in 1886. The name 'Nardin Park' was taken from the park and the subdivision where the church was located Nardin Park United Methodist Church was officially listed in Michigan's register of historic sites on September 21, 1990.

Hillel Day School, named after the Jewish religious leader, sage and scholar Hillel, is an independent Pre-K – 8 Jewish day school in Farmington Hills, Michigan, a city in the Detroit metropolitan area. Founded in 1958, it became the first non-Orthodox Jewish school in Michigan. It provides both secular and Judaic studies instruction for students from preschool through eighth grade. Hillel initially rented space from various Jewish organizations. In 1970, it settled into its permanent home in Farmington Hills. In 1980s–1990s, portable classrooms were necessary due to overcrowding. Since then, Hillel's campus has undergone significant expansions and renovations. It now features open-space learning areas, a separate pre-school wing, an indoor gym, all-season outdoor athletic facilities, an "innovation hub" with a greenhouse and makerspace, and a café with a kitchen. In 2005, Hillel controversially closed the teachers' union. In 2008, Hillel ended its affiliation with the Conservative movement and became a non-denominational Jewish day school.

The Holocaust Memorial Center in Farmington Hills, Michigan, near Detroit, is Michigan's largest Holocaust museum.

The Royal Aldrich House is a single-family house located at 31110 West 11 Mile Road in Farmington Hills, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994. It is one of a few remaining Greek Revival style houses in southeast Michigan still located on the site where built.

The Michigan School of Psychology (MSP), formerly the Michigan School of Professional Psychology and the Center for Humanistic Studies, is a private graduate school in Farmington Hills, Michigan, which specializes in clinical psychology. It offers three programs of study: the Master of Arts (M.A.) in clinical psychology, which is offered in a one-year full-time or a two-year part-time format; the Doctor of Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) degree, a full-time, minimum four-year, post-masters program; and a Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), a two-year certificate that can be completed concurrently with the MA program in clinical psychology.

The American Center is a high-rise tower in the Metro Detroit suburb of Southfield, Michigan, built in 1975 as the corporate headquarters for the automaker American Motors Corporation (AMC), which was subsequently acquired by Chrysler Corporation in 1987. The building is located adjacent to Interstate 696, M-10, and US 24 interchange. Upgraded in 2001, the office tower has 27 floors, including a basement, and has been owned and managed since 2017 by Redico, a Southfield-based real estate developer.

Franklin is a village in Oakland County in the U.S. state of Michigan. A northern suburb of Detroit, Franklin is located within Southfield Township, roughly 20 miles (32.2 km) northwest of downtown Detroit. As of the 2020 census, the village had a population of 3,139.The community is known for large, estate-style homes. The downtown was designated as a historic district, the first in Michigan, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1969. The Franklin Cider Mill is a visitor attraction.

The Franklin Historic District is a primarily residential and commercial historic district located along Franklin Road and adjoining streets in the village of Franklin, Michigan in Oakland County. The district extends to Fourteen Mile Road on the north, Scenic Drive on the south, the Rouge River on the east, and several hundred feet from Franklin Road on the west. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1969, and added to in 2005. It was Michigan's first district to be listed on the National Register.
