Kearneysville, West Virginia

The Rellim Farm near Kearneysville, West Virginia is a 50-acre (20 ha) farm and orchard complex which was once part of the nearby Traveller's Rest property. The upper Shenandoah Valley region supports a significant fruit industry, and Rellim Farm is a representative example of this form of agriculture, the oldest family-owned operation in Jefferson County. Beginning in the 1930s, Paul Miller Sr. began to work with the nearby West Virginia University Experimental Farm in the development of spray technology, which was applied throughout the industry."Rellim" is derived from "Miller" spelled backwards.

Traveller's Rest, also known as the General Horatio Gates Home, is an historic plantation house located on Bowers Road near Kearneysville, Jefferson County, West Virginia. Built in 1773 and enlarged a few years later, it was the home of Continental Army General Horatio Gates from 1773 until 1790. The house is very little altered from that period, and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1972. The house is located on private property, and is not normally open to the public.

Rose Hill Farm, also known as the James-Marshall-Snyder Farm, is a double-pile, two story brick farmhouse with Greek Revival features near Shepherdstown, West Virginia. A log house on the property was built circa 1795, while the brick house was built around 1835. It is believed that the log house was built by Samuel Davenport, who leased the land from the Stephen family. In 1821 the property was sold to Thomas James.

Sunnyside Farm is a farm near Kearneysville, West Virginia, United States, that is principally associated with William Fulk's dairy farming operation. The farm has a full complement of buildings associated with dairying, including the main house (1914), smokehouse (1914), milk house (C.1899). a small log house, chicken house (1920), garage (1920), tenant house (1920), hog shed (c.1915), pig house (c.1899), barn (1911, reconstructed after a fire in 1985) and silo (1911).

Tackley Farm, also known as Valley View, is a Greek Revival farmhouse near Shenandoah Junction, West Virginia. The property was leased by Michael Blue in 1777 from Colonel Richard Blackburn, the original grantee who migrated from England and acquired over 2000 acres in 1754. In 1757, Michael Blue and his brother had served with Blackburn in the foot Army of Col. Armstrong in Delaware. In 1795, Michael Blue purchased his 150 acres from Blackburn's son Thomas. In 1840, Michael Blue's son Joel built the present house.The house closely resembles Belvedere, near Charles Town.

Hazelfield, located near Shenandoah Junction, West Virginia is a historic farm, whose principal residence was built in 1815 for Ann Stephen Dandridge Hunter.

Bardane is an unincorporated community in Jefferson County, West Virginia, United States. It is located on West Virginia Route 9 between Kearneysville and Shenandoah Junction. Throughout its history, the community has been known as Brown's Crossing and Quincy's Siding. Bardane most likely was the name of a local settler.

Miller Tavern and Farm is a historic home and farm located near Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia. The main house is L-shaped and consists of a vernacular tavern building, built about 1813, to which is appended a Greek Revival-style "I"-house built about 1831. The house of painted brick and wood construction. It has an intersecting gable roof structure clad in standing seam metal. Also on the contributing property is the Dr. John Magruder House (c. 1880), privy (c. 1935), smokehouse (c. 1900), barn (c. 1900), bank barn (c. 1900), and two sheds (c. 1900).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

Rockland, also known as Verdier Plantation, Schley Farm and Knode House, was built by James Verdier between 1771 and 1785 near Shepherdstown, West Virginia. Verdier was a Huguenot, the son of a French silk weaver, who married Lady Susanna Monei and came to North America to escape religious persecution. In America he became a tanner, with tanneries in Martinsburg, West Virginia, Sharpsburg, Maryland and Shepherdstown. His children founded Verdiersville, Virginia after his death. The older portion of the house is stone masonry. A brick Victorian style addition was built in 1897.Built largely of limestone, the two-story, five-bay center hall house has sandstone accents. A basement kitchen is accessed by a door in the gable end. The interior was remodeled with Greek Revival detailing in the nineteenth century.

Stone House Mansion, also known as the John Strode House, is a historic home located near Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia. The main house was built in 1757, and is a two-story, stone house with a slate gable roof. Porches were added during the 20th century. Also on the property is a stuccoed brick ice house (c. 1900), bunk house (1905), and a barn / garage (c. 1910).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

Woodbury or Woodberry, is a historic mansion located near Leetown, Jefferson County, West Virginia. It was built in 1834-1835 for the jurist and Congressman Henry St. George Tucker, Sr. (1780–1848). Tucker lived at Woodbury from its construction until 1844.

Mount Zion Baptist Church is a historic church on Opequon Lane in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Built during 1836–38, 35 by 40 square feet (3.3 m2 × 3.7 m2) in plan, with stonework "unequalled" in Berkeley County. As of 1980 the church was in use only about once yearly.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
