Acqua Santa Golf Club Course

The Gardagolf Country Club is an Italian golf course located in Soiano del Lago, but the playing field also occupies with the municipalities of Polpenazze del Garda and Manerba del Garda; close to the Lake Garda in the Province of Brescia. The first 18 holes (Red and White Course) designed by Cotton, Pennick, Steel & Partners were inaugurated on the 28th of June 1986, while the Yellow Course was added in 1990. The club hosted the Italian Open three times in 1997, 2003 and 2018, the Kronenbourg Open in 1993, and the Ladies Italian Open in 1990.On 12 December 2017 the Italian Federation announced that Gardagolf would host the Italian Open (this time a Rolex Series event) in 2018 for the third time. Gardagolf is the home club of the 4 times European Tour winner Matteo Manassero where he started playing the game as a kid with the club pro Franco Maestroni. Nino Bertasio and Challenge Tour player Andrea Maestroni also play for Gardagolf.

The Appian Way (Latin and Italian: Via Appia) is one of the earliest and strategically most important Roman roads of the ancient republic. It connected Rome to Brindisi, in southeast Italy. Its importance is indicated by its common name, recorded by Statius, of Appia longarum... regina viarum ("the Appian Way, the queen of the long roads"). The road is named after Appius Claudius Caecus, the Roman censor who began and completed the first section as a military road to the south in 312 BC during the Samnite Wars.

Quarto Miglio (Fourth Mile) is an urban zone of Municipio VII of Rome, Italy. It was located in the south-eastern area of the city. As of 2010 it had a population of 11,052 people. It takes its name from its proximity to the 4th Mile of the Appian Way, which borders it to the southwest, and is close to much of the Appian Way Regional Park. Many of its street names come from ancient Romans connected with the area, including Herodes Atticus and Annia Regilla. In Roman times the area was known as "ad Quartum".Construction in the area began in the 1920s but did not really take off until the early 1950s. A parish was established in 1935 and the church of San Tarcisio was completed in 1939. It was visited by Pope John Paul II in 1985 in celebration of Quarto Miglio's 50 years as a parish. Notable residents have included the film director Franco Zeffirelli, the actress Gina Lollobrigida and the fashion designer Valentino.

The Tor Fiscale park in Rome is located between the 3rd and 4th miles of the Roman Via Latina and forms part of the Appian Way Regional Park. It is connected by a short path to Rome’s Aqueduct Park and is dominated by a 30 m-high tower, which gives the park its name. Several aqueducts traversed the area and their remains are still visible.

The Tomb of Hilarus Fuscus(Latin: Hilarus Fuscus or Hilarius Fuscus) is a funerary monument located near the fourth mile of the Appian Way or Via Appia Antica, to the southeast of Rome.

The Appian Way Regional Park is the second-largest urban park of Europe, after Losiny Ostrov National Park in Moscow. It is a protected area of around 4580 hectares, established by the Italian region of Latium. It falls primarily within the territory of Rome but parts also extend into the neighbouring towns of Ciampino and Marino.

The Tombs of the Via Latina (Italian: Tombe di Via Latina) are Roman tombs, mainly from the 2nd century AD, that are found along a short stretch of the Via Latina, an ancient Roman road close to Rome, Italy. They are now part of an archaeological park and can be visited.

Capo di Bove is an archaeological site on the Appian Way on the outskirts of Rome, Italy. It contains the thermal baths of a vast property owned in the 2nd century AD by Herodes Atticus and his wife Annia Regilla.

The church of Sant'Urbano alla Caffarella is found on the edge of the Caffarella Park in the southeast of Rome. It was originally a Roman temple. In the 10th century, the structure was modified and consecrated as a church and it was extensively altered in the 17th century.

The Circus of Maxentius (known until the 19th century as the Circus of Caracalla) is an ancient structure in Rome, Italy, part of a complex of buildings erected by emperor Maxentius on the Via Appia between AD 306 and 312. It is situated between the second and third miles of the Via Appia, between the basilica and catacombs of San Sebastiano and the imposing late republican tomb of Caecilia Metella, which dominates the hill that rises immediately to the east of the complex. It is part of the Appian Way Regional Park.

The Tomb of Caecilia Metella (Italian: Mausoleo di Cecilia Metella) is a mausoleum located just outside Rome at the three mile marker of the Via Appia. It was built during the 1st century BC to honor Caecilia Metella, who was the daughter of Quintus Caecilius Metellus Creticus, a consul in 69 BC, and the wife of Marcus Licinius Crassus who served under Julius Caesar and was the son of the famous triumvir with the same name, Marcus Licinius Crassus. The mausoleum was probably built in 30–10 BCE by her son who also had the same name, Marcus Licinius Crassus.The Tomb of Caecilia is one of the most well known and well preserved monuments along the Via Appia and a popular tourist site. In 2013, the museum circuit of the Baths of Caracalla, Villa of the Quintilii, and the Tomb of Caecilia Metella was the twenty-second most visited site in Italy, with 245,613 visitors and a total gross income of €883,344.

Arco di Travertino is a station on Line A of the Rome Metro. It is located in Rome's 9th district, between Colli Albani and Porta Furba stations. It is located under the intersection of Via Arco di Travertino, Via Colli Albani and Largo Lorenzo Cuneo.
