Queen Lane station is a SEPTA Regional Rail station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Located at 5319 Wissahickon Avenue facing West Queen Lane, it serves the Chestnut Hill West Line. The station is 7.4 miles (11.9 km) from Suburban Station. In 2004, this station saw 470 boardings on an average weekday. It was built for the Philadelphia, Germantown and Chestnut Hill Railroad, a subsidiary of the Pennsylvania Railroad, in 1885 to a design by Washington Bleddyn Powell.

The Wyck house, also known as the Haines house or Hans Millan house, is a historic mansion, museum, garden, and urban farm in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was recognized as a National Historic Landmark in 1971 for its well-preserved condition and its documentary records, which span nine generations of a single family.During the American Revolution, the Wyck house was occupied by British forces and used as a field hospital during the Battle of Germantown, in October 1777. Wyck was the site of an early American brewery from 1794 to 1801, and later became a meeting place of influential American scientists and artists including Thomas Say, Charles Lucien Bonaparte, John James Audubon, Thomas Nuttall, William Cooper, William Maclure, Charles Alexandre Lesueur, and George Ord. Wyck is the type locality of the Queen snake (Regina septemvittata), discovered on the second floor of the house by Reuben Haines III and described in 1825 by Thomas Say. It is also the type locality of the terrestrial gastropod Ventridens suppressus (Say 1829).The house was renovated in 1824 by William Strickland, the famous Greek revivalist architect. The following year, Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette returned to visit the sites of the Battle of Germantown, and was hosted in a reception at Wyck.

The Medical Campus of Philadelphia occupies the site on which the world’s first medical school for women, the Woman's Medical College of Pennsylvania (1850–1867), relocated from Center City to East Falls in 1930. Subsequent name changes included The Woman's Medical College of Pennsylvania (1867–1970) and The Medical College of Pennsylvania (1970–1995). As of 2014, it is named, the Drexel University College of Medicine: Queen Lane Medical Campus. Drexel University College of Medicine is the medical school of Drexel University, a private research university in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The medical school represents the consolidation of two medical schools: Hahnemann Medical College, originally founded as the nation's first college of homeopathy, and the Woman's Medical College of Pennsylvania, the first U.S. medical school for women, which became the Medical College of Pennsylvania when it admitted men in 1970; these institutions merged together in 1993, became affiliated with Drexel University College of Medicine in 1998, and were fully absorbed into the university in 2002. With one of the nation's largest enrollments for a private medical school, Drexel University College of Medicine is the second most applied-to medical school in the United States. It is ranked no. 83 in research by U.S. News & World Report. The college is housed in East Falls, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the Queen Lane Campus, near the Henry Ave site of the former Woman's Medical College of Pennsylvania. The Queen Lane Campus is primarily used by students during their preclinical training. The Center City Hahnemann University Hospital Campus was the college's primary teaching hospital until its closure in 2019. The College of Medicine follows a systems-based curriculum that is graded pass/fail. Beginning with the 2017-2018 school year, the MD program transitioned into a curriculum known as "Foundations and Frontiers". Designed to train physicians that are adept at navigating the increasingly multidisciplinary healthcare system of tomorrow, this new curriculum includes essential emerging competencies such as an understanding of population health, health informatics, and health care systems and financing. To foster a greater sense of community, first year medical students are divided into six learning societies based on local iconic landmarks: Athenaeum; Liberty Bell; Physick House; Rocky Statue; Reading Terminal; and Eakins House.

The Germantown Cricket Club is a cricket club in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. It was one of the four principal cricket clubs in the city and was one of the clubs contributing members to the Philadelphian cricket team. It was founded on 10 August 1854 in what is now the northwest section of the city, and is the nation's second oldest cricket club. Its clubhouse was designed by architects McKim, Mead & White. The U.S. National tennis championship, precursor to today's US Open, was played on Germantown Cricket's lawn tennis courts from 1921 to 1923.The Germantown Cricket Club was located in Nicetown from 1877 until 1890 when it moved to its present Manheim Street location after merging with the Young America Cricket Club in 1890. The Newhall brothers joined the Germantown cricket team at this time after being the backbone of the Young America Cricket Club for forty years. It continues as a private club with facilities for tennis, squash, swimming, and special events. The club's facilities are a designated National Historic Landmark.

Queen Lane Apartments opened in 1955 as one of several Post-War public housing hi-rise complexes in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania which were built and maintained by the Philadelphia Housing Authority (PHA). The PHA demolished the Queen Lane high-rise on September 13, 2014. The PHA replaced it with 55 new, affordable rental units for individuals and families. The first of the new 55 units were opened on December 15, 2015. Mayor Michael Nutter, City Council President Darrell L. Clarke, City Councilwoman Cindy Bass, PHA President/CEO Kelvin Jeremiah, residents of the nine new units, and other dignitaries joined together to cut the ribbon.

Delmar Apartments, also known as Chelten Station, is a historic apartment building located in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1902, and is a five-story, U-shaped brick building in the Colonial Revival-style. The first floor is faced in Wissahickon schist and has a wood porch. It features four-story bay windows, a terra cotta cornice, and pediment above the main entrance. It was the first large apartment building built in the Germantown-Chestnut Hill area.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Chelten Avenue station is a SEPTA Regional Rail station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Located on West Chelten Avenue in the Germantown neighborhood, it serves the Chestnut Hill West Line. The concrete station structure, part of a Pennsylvania Railroad grade-separation project completed in 1918 in conjunction with electrification of the line, was designed by William Holmes Cookman.A station has been at this location since June 11, 1884. Known initially as Germantown, the 1918 station was named Chelten Avenue to avoid confusion with the Philadelphia & Reading Railroad's Germantown. The original station building was a two-story stone structure at street level on the outbound side. Retained in that general location after the 1918 grade separation, it was demolished circa 1958, replaced by a small brick ticket office on the inbound side which remains in use today.The station is in zone 1 on the Chestnut Hill West Line, on former PRR tracks, and is 8.1 miles (13.0 km) from Suburban Station. It contains concrete-arch-covered staircases on all four corners of the Chelten Avenue Bridge over the tracks leading to the station platforms. In 2004, this station saw 441 boardings on an average weekday. Despite having high-level platforms, the station is not ADA accessible, as it lacks ramps or elevators from the street down to the platform level.

The Smyser and English Pharmacy building, also known as the Leedom & Wissler Pharmacy, is an historic, American pharmacy building that is located in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.
