Strongsville High School is a public high school located in Strongsville, Ohio, United States. The current principal is Bill Wingler. The school colors are forest green and white. The mascot is the Mustang. The school was a member of the Pioneer Conference but moved to the Northeast Ohio Conference at the conclusion of the 2006–07 school year. The fight song is to the tune of "On Wisconsin".

Gardenview Horticultural Park (16 acres) is a nonprofit botanical garden and arboretum located at 16711 Pearl Road, Strongsville, Ohio. It is open weekend afternoons to non-members; an admission fee is charged. The park was begun in 1949 by horticulturist Henry Ross (deceased 1/11/2014) on a private lot filled with blackberry brambles and weeds atop blue and yellow clay. In his extensive work on the garden, Ross has introduced dozens of cultivars including the white-leafed Ajuga 'Arctic Fox' and the mildew-resistant Monarda 'Gardenview Scarlet'. He opened the garden for public viewing in 1961. The park now includes 6 acres (24,000 m2) of English Cottage Gardens (emphasizing plants with variegated, golden, silver, or colored foliage) and a 10-acre (40,000 m2) arboretum. The arboretum contains some 2,500 unusual trees, including 500 varieties of flowering crabapples underplanted with daffodils. The garden also features azaleas, 1,500 tuberous rooted begonias, thousands of tulips, a cactus collection, and two ponds.

Strongsville is a city in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States, and a suburb of Cleveland. As of the 2020 census, its population was 46,491. The city's nickname, Crossroads of the Nation, originated from the intersection between the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad and Southwestern Electric Line that connected Cleveland and Wooster, Ohio. As the railroad line ceased operation in 1931, the motto and city seal have been adapted to reflect the modern-day intersection of Interstate 71 and the Ohio Turnpike.

Columbia Baptist Church is a historic church at 25514 Royalton Road in Columbia Center, Ohio. The church was built in 1900 for the local Baptist congregation, which formed in 1832 and had previously used a wood-frame building for its church. The congregation built their church from locally quarried sandstone and gave it a design which combined the Stick Style and Queen Anne style. The church features an intersecting gable roof, a gothic arched stained glass window next to the main entrance, and several smaller stained glass windows illustrating Bible scenes. Its 77 feet (23 m) bell tower has a bell-shaped roof and is the tallest structure in Columbia Center.The church was added to the National Register on July 12, 1976.

Columbia Township is the official government name, while Columbia Station is the post office name, and tends to be the town name used by residents. The post office name was chosen to differentiate the township from other Columbia Townships statewide, located in Hamilton and Meigs counties.As of the 2020 census, the township had a population of 7,411.
