The National Centre of Research in Social and Cultural Anthropology (French: Centre national de recherche en anthropologie sociale et culturelle, CRASC) is an Algerian governmental research organisation in social sciences created by the decree 92-215 on May 23, 1992. The Centre operates under the aegis of the Ministry of higher education and scientific research, its headquarters is located in Oran. The primary missions of the CRASC are: Research Education Studies and assessments Editing and enhancement The CRASC publishes scientific works, in particular through its review Insaniyat which is referenced by the web platform for journals and book collections in the humanities and social sciences Revues.org. Contributions in English are mainly disseminated through The Africa Revue of Books (ISSN 0851-7592); the journal of the Codesria is published twice yearly. Its editorial production is piloted by the Forum for Social Studies (FSS), based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with the active support of the CRASC. In 2012, to commemorate Algeria's 50 years of independence, the CRASC organized the interdisciplinary colloquium “1962, A World ”, in collaboration with the overseas office of The American Institute for Maghrib Studies (AIMS) which is The Centre d'études maghrébines en Algérie (CEMA) located in Oran. Johns Hopkins University also participated through the Organization committee, including the contribution of the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences and the Centre national de la recherche scientifique.

Miloud Hadefi Stadium (Arabic: ملعب ميلود هدفي), is a multi-use stadium in Belgaïd, in the Bir El Djir suburb of Oran, Algeria. Completed in 2019, it is used mostly for football matches. It can hold 40,143 spectators. The value of construction work of the stadium was about 142.3 million US$, it is an olympic stadium with the athletics track and it is a part of the Miloud Hadefi Olympic Complex which is the first big complex in Algeria exceeding the Mohamed Boudiaf Olympic Complex in Algiers and it is also the first stadium entirely covered in Algeria. The stadium expected to be special for the Algeria national football team with Stade du 5 Juillet and Nelson Mandela Stadium, and also clubs of Oran especially MC Oran. The Miloud Hadefi Stadium and all the complex which extends over a total area of 105 hectares, including all the infrastructure essential to the organization of international sports and football events. The stadium was used as the opening and closing ceremony venue of the 2022 Mediterranean Games. The inaugural match of the stadium was held on 17 June 2021, when Algeria beat Liberia 5-1 in a friendly game.

The Miloud Hadefi Olympic Complex Aquatic Center is an aquatics venue located in Oran, Algeria. It hosted the Swimming and the Water polo tournaments during the 2022 Mediterranean Games.
