Church of the Holy Apostles (Oneida, Wisconsin)

Oneida is an unincorporated community and former census-designated place (CDP) in the Town of Oneida, Outagamie County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,070 at the 2000 census. At the census, part of the CDP lay within the Town of Hobart, which has since incorporated as a village, in adjacent Brown County. Oneida is located on Wisconsin Highway 54. The community lies near the center of the reservation of the federally recognized Oneida Nation of Wisconsin, for which it is named.

Oneida Nation School System is a tribal K-12 school in Oneida, Wisconsin. It is affiliated with the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE), and serves the Oneida Nation. It has a 162,000-square-foot (15,100 m2) 38-classroom elementary school building and a separate high school building. In 2001 the enrollment of the high school was slightly above 100.

The Oneida Nation is a federally recognized tribe of Oneida people in Wisconsin. The tribe's reservation spans parts of two counties west of the Green Bay metropolitan area. The reservation was established by treaty in 1838, and was allotted to individual New York Oneida tribal members as part of an agreement with the U.S. government. The land was individually owned until the tribe was formed under the Indian Reorganization Act of 1934.Under the Dawes Act, the land was allotted in 1892 to individual households. The nation kept control of most of the land until sales were allowed in the early 20th century, when members were often tricked out of their property. They used the land for farming and harvesting timber. As of 2010, the nation controlled about 35 percent of the land within its reservation and is working to reacquire the rest.In 1988 the nation established the state's first modern lottery, known as Big Green. Since the late 20th century, the nation developed the gaming Ashwaubenon Casino on its property, which is generating revenue for economic development and welfare. Of the more than 16,000 members, roughly half live on the reservation.

The airport is located 7 nautical miles (13 km; 8.1 mi) southwest of downtown Green Bay, in the village of Ashwaubenon. Green Bay–Austin Straubel International Airport is also known as "The Gateway to Lambeau", as it is the primary airport utilized for people and teams traveling to Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers.

The Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic was a women's professional golf tournament in Wisconsin on the LPGA Tour. It debuted in 2017 and was played at Thornberry Creek at Oneida, just northwest of Green Bay. Opened in 1994, the course is owned by the Oneida Nation.On August 21, 2019, the Oneida Nation announced that due to the lack of return on the investment to run the event they were not going to renew their contract with the LPGA to continue the tournament.The 2018 event saw Kim Sei-young post the lowest to-par score (−31) and the lowest 72-hole total score (257) in LPGA Tour history.

Mabel Thome Fountain & Garden - a fountain ringed with crabapples and annuals. Marguerite Kress Oval - a rose garden of contemporary design. John and Janet Van Den Wymelenberg Color and Foliage Garden - trees, shrubs, grasses, perennials, and vines with varied foliage (yellow, maroon, chartreuse, gray, and green). Larsen Orchard Remnant - apple trees, with an underplanting of spring-flowering bulbs. Mary Hendrickson Johnson Wisconsin Woodland Garden - an informal garden of native trees, shrubs and wild flowers surrounding a lawn for social gatherings. Schierl Wellhouse and Garden - The garden's well, and a garden of annuals and herbs. Stumpf Belvedere - a gazebo in early Greek style. Upper Rose Garden - a rose garden of hardy shrubs and hybrid tea roses. Vanderperren English Cottage Garden - a Wisconsin interpretation of an English cottage garden.During the winter months, the garden hosts the WPS Garden of Lights, a display of over 200,000 holiday lights.
