Rendsburg High Bridge

Wehrau is a river of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It flows into the Kiel Canal near Rendsburg.

The Rendsburg Loop (German: Rendsburger Schleife) is an elevated spiral railway in Rendsburg in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein, connecting the Rendsburg High Bridge over the Kiel Canal on the Neumünster–Flensburg line to Rendsburg station.

Rendsburg station is located in the city of Rendsburg in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein and is at the junction of the Neumünster–Flensburg and Rendsburg Kiel lines. It is currently operated by Deutsche Bahn, which classifies it as a category 4 station. There used to be a direct line from Rendsburg to Husum via Erfde, as distinct from the current route via Jübek. A short section of the Erfde line is still used for the carriage of freight. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Kiel Canal was built as along with Rendsburg High Bridge over it and the Rendsburg Loop, which allowed trains to continue to use Rendsburg station. The station’s roof was renovated from 2007 to 2009. Later, the platforms were rehabilitated. Following the completion of the renovation the station it has five tracks, four of which have a platform.

Rendsburg (Danish: Rendsborg, also Rensborg, Low German: Rendsborg, also Rensborg) is a town on the River Eider and the Kiel Canal in the central part of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is the capital of the Kreis (district) of Rendsburg-Eckernförde. As of 2006, it had a population of 28,476.

Büdelsdorf (Danish: Bydelstorp) is a town in the district of Rendsburg-Eckernförde, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is situated on the river Eider and the Kiel Canal, approx. 2 kilometres (1 mile) north of Rendsburg, and 30 km (19 mi) west of Kiel, just 5 mi (8 km) off the motorway.

Westerrönfeld is a municipality in the district of Rendsburg-Eckernförde, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. The name literally means "The field west of the Rön", the Rön being a little tributary of the river Eider. Westerrönfeld is located on the southern bank of the Kiel Canal.
