It was renamed after Prince Rupert of the Rhine when it moved from New Street to its present location in Bell Street. It has gradually expanded. The school takes girls and boys from age 3 to 11. At the end of the 20th century, the playing fields on the Fairmile were added to the school's estate. In 2018, a new all-weather pitch was opened by the hockey player Jo Ellis. The 1992 Olympic hockey medallist Mandy Nicholson is the Director of Sport.The school has been successful in its pupils winning prizes in competitions. It also participates in the junior proms at the Henley Youth Festival.Alumni of the school include Tina Brown, the editor of the United States edition of Tatler magazine.

Henley Bridge is a road bridge built in 1786 at Henley-on-Thames over the River Thames, between Oxfordshire and Berkshire. The bridge has five elliptical stone arches, and links Hart Street in Henley with White Hill (designated the A4130) leading up a steep hill to Remenham Hill. It crosses the Thames on the reach between Hambleden Lock and Marsh Lock, carrying the Thames Path across the river. It is a Grade I listed building.

It is 4 miles 47 chains (7.4 km) down the line from Twyford and 35 miles 48 chains (57.3 km) measured from London Paddington. It is served by local services operated by Great Western Railway.The station has a single terminal platform, which is long enough to accommodate an eight coach train. There is a station building, with waiting area, ticket office and self-service ticket machines, together with a 280 space car park. The station is staffed in the mornings only, on Mondays to Saturdays.

Friar Park is a Victorian neo-Gothic mansion in Henley-on-Thames, England, built in 1889. It was originally owned by eccentric lawyer Sir Frank Crisp and purchased in January 1970 by English rock musician and former Beatle George Harrison. The site covers about 62 acres (25 hectares). Features include caves, grottoes, underground passages, a multitude of garden gnomes, and an Alpine rock garden with a scale model of the Matterhorn. Though rumour and tabloid reports often claim the building has 120 rooms, this was denied by the current owner, Olivia Harrison, while speaking to NPR Fresh Air in March 2004, at which time she clarified the number was somewhere around 30.
