Universal Hospital Tirana's Clinical Laboratory has the capacity to serve over 500 patients per day and produce 10,000 analyses per day using the equipment from around the world. The lab is also a reference lab, which operates at international standards.

Marin Barleti University (UMB) (Albanian: Universiteti Marin Barleti) is a private institution of higher education in Albania named after the 15th-century historian/humanist, Marin Barleti, author of the historic account on the Skanderbeg epics. The Bejtul-Evel Mosque commonly known as Baitul Awal Mosque (Albanian: Xhamia Bejtyl-Evel) is Ahmadiyya Mosque in Tirana, Central Albania, Albania.The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community established in Albania has been established since 1934. The mosque was financed from the members of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community donations. The Bejtul Evel Mosque is one of the largest mosques in the country. It was inaugurated by the fourth head of worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Mirza Tahir Ahmad in 1995 which makes this mosque the 1st Ahmadiyya mosque to be built in Albania. Aside the mosque, ‘Darul Falah’ mission house is also located in Tirana, capital city of Albania. The mosque has a capacity of 2,500 people. It consists of 2 white minarets.

The Lapraka Airfield or Tirana Aerodrome (IATA: ZOOH) was an airfield located in Tirana, Albania. It is the former airport of Albania's capital. It used to house an air force regiment with Y-5 biplanes, operating from the old runway, and later, from the grass runway. Currently, Lapraka only houses the helicopters of the Albanian government. The airfield is located in the north western part of Tirana, although it is hardly recognizable as such. From the town center, take the Rruga Durresi towards Durres.

The European University of Tirana (Albanian: Universiteti Europian i Tiranës, UET) is an accredited private university in Tirana, Albania. It was established in 2006 by four PhD students (at the time): Adri Nurellari, Blendi Kajsiu, Ermal Hasimja, and Henri Çili, in collaboration with business manager Laert Duraj and journalist Robert Rakipllari.UET was licensed by the Albanian Ministry of Education & Sciences on 20 September 2006 following the decision of the Council of Ministers Nr. 636/2006 and is fully accredited by the Quality Assurance Agency of Higher Education.
