Doubrava (Aš)

Kopaniny (German: Krugsreuth) is a village in Karlovy Vary Region, Czech Republic. It is one of the nine municipal parts of Aš. In 2021 the village had a population of 123.

The first Spa Museum (Bademuseum) in Bad Elster, Saxony was opened in 1880 due to the work of Prof. Dr. Robert Flechsig (1817–1892), Bernhard v. Heygendorff (1843–1916) and the Royal Saxony court photographer Emil Tietze (1840–1831). It soon closed. After World War 2, Dr. Bruno Rudau (1891–1970) and a few other Bad Elster citizens created a new museum which suffered the same fate. In 1993 it was created again under the title of the Saxon Spa Museum, Bad Elster, (Sächsischen Bademuseum Bad Elster). In the museum art gallery there is a permanent display of the history of the spa towns of Bad Elster and Bad Brambach and taking the waters. The museum also holds the town's art collection.

Bad Elster (German pronunciation: [ˌbaːt ˈɛlstɐ] ) is a spa town in the Vogtlandkreis district, in Saxony, Germany. It lies on the border of Bavaria and the Czech Republic in the Elster gebirge hills. It is situated on the river White Elster, and is protected from extremes of temperature by the surrounding wooded hills. It is 25 kilometres (16 mi) southeast of Plauen, and 25 kilometres (16 mi) northwest of Cheb. It is part of the Freunde im Herzen Europas microregion.

Dolní Paseky (German: Niederreuth) is a village in Karlovy Vary Region, Czech Republic. It is one of the nine town districts of Aš. In 2001 the village had a population of 39. For most part, the village serves as a recreation area for whole Aš-region. A pavillon with a mineral spring, built in 1930, is located in the village.

Neuberg (also Neuberk) is a ruins of castle in Podhradí, Cheb District in the Karlovy Vary Region of the Czech Republic.

The administrative district of the municipality with extended powers of Aš (abbreviated AD MEP Aš; Czech: Správní obvod obce s rozšířenou působností Aš, SO ORP Aš) is an administrative district of municipality with extended powers in Cheb District in the Karlovy Vary Region of the Czech Republic. It has existed since 1 January 2003, when the districts were replaced administratively. It includes 5 municipalities which have a combined population of about 17,000.

Podhradí (German: Neuberg) is a municipality and village in Cheb District in the Karlovy Vary Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 200 inhabitants.

Vernéřov (German: Wernersreuth) is a village in Karlovy Vary Region, Czech Republic. It is the third largest town district of Aš. In 2001 the village had a population of 106. In the village there are a market, restaurant, bus stop and a few ponds.

Horní Paseky (German: Oberreuth) is a border village in Karlovy Vary Region, Czech Republic. It is one of the nine municipal parts of Aš. In 2021 the village had a population of 71.

The Botanischer Garten Adorf is a botanical garden located at Waldbadstraße 7, Adorf, Saxony, Germany, created in 1997–1999 as an adjunct to the Klein-Vogtland miniatures park. It is open daily in the warmer months, and contains over 11,000 plants from high mountains around the world. In 2008, a small fire destroyed 300 plants and a part of the attached miniature park. By 2009, all damages had been repaired.

Háj (German: Hainberg bei Asch, 758 m) is the highest mountain in the Czech part of the Fichtel Mountains. It lies near Aš in the Czech Republic. On the summit there is a mountain inn that was destroyed by fire and an observation tower.

Aš (Czech pronunciation: [aʃ]; German: Asch) is a town in Cheb District in the Karlovy Vary Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 13,000 inhabitants.
