Zion Lutheran Church, also known as The Lutheran Church of Middle Smithfield, is a historic Lutheran church located in Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area at Middle Smithfield Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1851, and is a one-story, brick building in a modified Greek Revival style. It is built of brick made by members of the congregation and has a slate covered front gable roof.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

John Turn Farm is a historic farm complex located in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area at Middle Smithfield Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, USA. The complex includes the lime kiln, smoke house and weave house. The property also includes the site of the demolished main farmhouse, a smaller house, a barn and garage. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Cold Spring Farm Springhouse is a historic springhouse located in Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area at Middle Smithfield Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania. It was built in the late-19th century and is a one-story, rectangular fieldstone building. It measures approximately 12 by 24 feet (3.7 by 7.3 m). It has a wood shingle roof and small cupola. Also on the property is a concrete dam, built about 1909. It represents a typical springhouse of the Delaware River Valley. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Mount Mohican, or Raccoon Ridge, is a peak of the Kittatinny Mountains in Warren County, New Jersey, United States. The mountain stands 1,580 feet (482 m) in height. It lies along the Appalachian Trail in Worthington State Forest.

The John Michael Farm is an historic American farm complex that is located in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area in Middle Smithfield Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Yards Creek Generating Station is a pumped-storage hydroelectric plant in Blairstown and Hardwick Township in Warren County, New Jersey, United States. The facility is owned by REV Renewables, which purchased it from Public Service Enterprise Group and FirstEnergy in 2020 and 2021. It has an installed capacity of 420 MW.

Yards Creek is a tributary of the Paulins Kill located along the eastern face of Kittatinny Mountain in Warren County in northwestern New Jersey in the United States. It rises along Kittatinny Mountain near Catfish Pond in Hardwick Township, flowing into the Yards Creek Reservoir and Lower Yards Creek Reservoir at Yards Creek Generating Station near Blairstown. The creek flows into the Paulins Kill near the hamlet of Hainesburg in Knowlton Township. The Appalachian Trail passes within its watershed and crosses the creek as it traverses the ridgeline of Kittatinny Mountain.

A 1950s proposal to construct a dam near Tocks Island across the Delaware River was met with considerable controversy and protest. Tocks Island is located in the Delaware River a short distance north from the Delaware Water Gap. In order to control damaging flooding and provide clean water to supply New York City and Philadelphia, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers proposed building a dam. When completed, the Tocks Island Dam would have created a 37-mile (60-km) long lake between Pennsylvania and New Jersey, with depths of up to 140 feet. This lake and the land surrounding were to be organized as the Tocks Island National Recreation Area. Although the dam was never built, 72,000 acres (291 km²) of land were acquired by condemnation and eminent domain. This incited environmental protesters and embittered local residents displaced by the project's preparations when their property was condemned. After the Tocks Island Dam project was withdrawn, the lands acquired were transferred to the oversight of the National Park Service which reorganized them to establish the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.

Capt. Jacob Shoemaker House is a historic home located in Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area at Middle Smithfield Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania. It was built about 1810, and is a 1+1⁄2-story, fieldstone dwelling over a banked stone basement. It has a gable roof with two dormers. The rear of the building has a two-story porch. It was the home of the locally prominent Shoemaker family. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The Schoonover Mountain House, also known as the Schoonover Farm, is an historic, American home that is located in Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area at Middle Smithfield Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The Mount Tammany Fire Road is an unpaved 4.5-mile (7.2 km) road on the eastern ridgeline of Kittatinny Mountain from Upper Yards Creek Reservoir to Mount Tammany, the 1,527-foot (465 m) prominence on the New Jersey side of the Delaware Water Gap. The fire road, located within Worthington State Forest, is maintained as a firebreak and access road for wildfire suppression efforts by the New Jersey Forest Fire Service. There are three helispots along the fire road used by the Forest Fire Service. The Mount Tammany Fire Road was constructed as a dozer line created after the 1976 Dunnfield Creek fire on Kittatinny Mountain which consumed over 2,000 acres (8.1 km2) of forests from April 18 to April 22, 1976. Today, the road is often used as part of a loop with the Appalachian Trail, Sunfish Pond Fire Road, Dunnfield Creek trail and other trails by hikers visiting the Delaware Water Gap. The Mount Tammany Fire Road connects with the Blue Dot Trail, Red Dot Trail, Turquoise and Taylor Trails on Mount Tammany.
