Vétraz-Monthoux (French pronunciation: [vetʁa mɔ̃tu]) is a commune in the Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. It is in the northern part of Haute-Savoie and right next to the Swiss border. The poet Jean-Vincent Verdonnet (1923–2013) died in Vétraz-Monthoux.

It lies near the Swiss border, approximately 8 km (5 mi) east of Geneva. Its railway station is served by TGV, RegioExpress, Léman Express and TER Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes trains.

Annemasse station (French: Gare d'Annemasse) is a railway station located in Annemasse, Haute-Savoie, south-eastern France. The station was opened in 1880 and is located on the Aix-les-Bains–Annemasse railway, Longeray-Léaz-Le Bouveret railway, and CEVA orbital railway. It was formerly the eastern terminus of the Annemasse-Genève-Eaux-Vives railway. The train services are operated by SNCF and Léman Express.

Monnetier-Mornex is a commune in the Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. This commune is near Geneva and is made up of three villages, Monnetier (Salève and lesser Salève), the village d'Esserts-Saleve and the village of Mornex. Mornex extends to the bottom of Mont Gosse and is beside the confluence of L'Arve river and its tributary the Viaison.
