The Oriental Pearl Radio & Television Tower (simplified Chinese: 东方明珠塔; traditional Chinese: 東方明珠塔; pinyin: Dōngfāng Míngzhūtǎ; Shanghainese: Tonfån Mintsythah, official name: 东方明珠广播电视塔) is a TV tower in Shanghai. Its location at the tip of Lujiazui in the Pudong New Area by the side of Huangpu River, opposite The Bund, makes it a distinct landmark in the area. Its principal designers were Jiang Huan Chen, Lin Benlin, and Zhang Xiulin. Construction began in 1991, and the tower was completed in 1994. At 468 m (1,536 feet) high, it was the tallest structure in China from 1994–2007, when it was surpassed by the Shanghai World Financial Center. It is classified as an AAAAA scenic area by the China National Tourism Administration. The tower is brightly lit in different LED sequences at night. On 7 July 2007, Oriental Pearl Tower was host to the Chinese Live Earth concert. The tower features 11 spheres, big and small. The two largest spheres, along the length of the tower, have diameters of 50 m (164 ft) for the lower and 45 m (148 ft) for the upper. They are linked by three columns, each 9 m (30 ft) in diameter. The highest sphere is 14 m (46 ft) in diameter. In 1995, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower was rated as one of the top ten new landscapes in Shanghai. In 1999, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower won the first prize of Shanghai Excellent Survey and Design Award and the Zhan Tianyou Award of China Civil Engineering. On May 8, 2007, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower was approved by the National Tourism Administration as a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction. The entire tower is supported by three enormous columns that start underground.

The Shanghai Ocean Aquarium (Chinese: 上海海洋水族馆) is a public aquarium located in Shanghai, China. Designed by Advanced Aquarium Technologies, the aquarium includes a 168-meter (551 ft) tunnel that takes visitors through a coastal reef, open ocean, a kelp cave, shark cove, and a coral reef, and is one of the longest such tunnels in the world. The aquarium takes visitors through several exhibit "zones," including China Zone, South America Zone, Africa Zone, etc.

The Shanghai Bank of China Tower (simplified Chinese: 上海中银大厦; traditional Chinese: 上海中銀大廈; pinyin: Shànghǎi Zhōngyín Dàshà), is a 53-story tower in the Pudong District, Shanghai, China. It was built for the Bank of China by the Japanese architectural firm Nikken Sekkei.

The Bocom Financial Towers (Chinese: 交银金融大厦) are two conjoined skyscrapers which reach 265 metres (869 feet) in height. They are located in the Pudong District of Shanghai, China and are split into the North and South Towers. Both towers were designed by ABB Architekten. The North tower is the 810th tallest existing building in the world when measured up to the highest architectural point. An atrium connects the two towers together and reaches a height of 163.4 metres. A swimming pool offering views over all of Shanghai is located on the 48th floor of the North Tower.

Bank of Shanghai Headquarters (simplified Chinese: 上海银行大厦; traditional Chinese: 上海銀行大廈; pinyin: Shànghǎi Yínháng Dàshà) is a 46 floor tower in the Pudong area of Shanghai and was completed in 2005. It was built by architects Kenzo Tange Associates.

The Waibaidu Bridge (Chinese: 外白渡桥; pinyin: Wàibáidù Qiáo; Shanghainese: Ngabahdu Jio), called the Garden Bridge in English, is the first all-steel bridge, and the only surviving example of a camelback truss bridge, in China. The present bridge is the fourth Western-designed bridge built at its location since 1856, in the downstream of the estuary of the Suzhou Creek, near its confluence with the Huangpu River, adjacent to the Bund in central Shanghai. It connects the Huangpu and Hongkou districts and was opened on 20 January 1908. With its rich history and unique design the Waibaidu Bridge is one of the symbols of Shanghai. Its modern and industrial image may be regarded as the city's landmark bridge. On 15 February 1994 the Shanghai Municipal Government declared the bridge an example of Heritage Architecture, and one of the outstanding structures in Shanghai. In an ever-changing metropolis, the Waibaidu Bridge still remains a popular attraction, and one of the few constants in the city skyline.

Aurora Plaza is a 185 m high skyscraper in the Pudong financial district, Lujiazui, of Shanghai, China, that was completed in 2003. It is one of the more recognisable of the smaller towers in the Pudong skyline, due to its curved sleek facade, its former large "AURORA" logo and a large video screen projected onto the front of the building at night.

The Bank of China Building is a tower located at No. 23 on the Bund, in Shanghai, People's Republic of China. Previously the headquarters of the Bank of China, it now houses the Shanghai Branch of the Bank of China. It was built on the site of the old German Club (c. 1907). It housed the headquarters of the Bank of China. The stunted appearance of the building is attributed to Victor Sassoon's insistence that no other building on the Bund could rise higher than his.

The Citigroup Tower is a 180 m, 42 storey high skyscraper in the Pudong financial district of Shanghai, China, completed in 2005. It is the headquarters building of the Citibank (China) Company Limited. This is on the list as the 7th largest video-capable screens in the world.

Super Brand Mall is a major Shanghainese shopping center. Set in the prime location of Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone, Super Brand Mall has views of Shanghai's famous Bund. As a large scale, international urban family-oriented entertainment and shopping center developed by Shanghai Kinghill Limited, a subsidiary of the Charoen Pokphand Group of Thailand, Super Brand Mall has 13 floors, with a total gross floor area of app. 250,000 m2 (2,700,000 sq ft). The mall has received ISO9001 certification since 2004.

The Bund Tunnel (Chinese: 外滩隧道; pinyin: Wàitān Suìdào) is a 3.3 km (2.1 mi) sub-surface road and road tunnel in the city of Shanghai, China. The tunnel connects the districts of Hongkou to the north and Huangpu to the south. In the south, the tunnel begins on a stretch of South Zhongshan Road, which runs along the western bank of the Huangpu River, on the east side of the old Chinese city. It follows South Zhongshan Road and No. 2 East Zhongshan Road, crosses Yan'an Road, a major east-west artery (with a major exit to and from Yan'an Road), then follows East No. 1 Zhongshan Road through the Bund. At the northern end of the Bund, where the surface road joins the historic Garden Bridge to cross Suzhou Creek, the tunnel also crosses Suzhou Creek under the bridge. On the northern bank of Suzhou Creek, the tunnel briefly follows Daming Road, with another major exit leading east onto Changzhi Road, while the main tunnel veers west and joins Wusong Road. Construction on the tunnel began in 2007. The southern section of the tunnel is a subsurface road built using cut and cover methods, while the northern part was tunnelled using a shield method. The tunnel has two levels, with each level carrying three lanes of traffic in one direction. The tunnel was opened on 28 March 2010.

The Bank of Taiwan Building (Chinese: 台湾银行大楼) is located at No. 16, The Bund, Shanghai, China. The Japanese Empire occupied Taiwan in 1895, and in 1899 founded the Bank of Taiwan to promote trade between Taiwan, the Japanese Empire, and the rest of Asia. The bank then began opening offices outside of Taiwan in order to facilitate inter-regional trade.The present building was completed in 1924, and replaced an earlier building on the site. Its architecture combines both Western and Japanese elements. The building is now a branch of China Merchants Bank.
