This is a list of historic sites in Framingham, Massachusetts. There are several notable historic sites in Framingham, according to the Framingham Historical Society. This local society asserts: While there are many historic spaces in Framingham, the Centre Common is the focal point for the town's past. Three of the town's most historic buildings on the Centre Common face "demolition by neglect." The Village Hall, the Edgell Memorial Library, and the Old Academy building not only house over 10,000 artifacts spanning four centuries of the town's history, but they are symbols of Framingham's commitment to educational excellence, civic engagement, and community pride. One historic site is Shopper's World which opened on October 4, 1951 (as Shoppers' World), making it one of the earliest suburban shopping malls in the country.

WSRO (650 AM HD Radio) is a radio station that is silent. Licensed to Ashland, Massachusetts, it serves the MetroWest area. The station is owned by Alex Langer. WSRO also operates translator station W271CU (102.1 FM) in Framingham. Rooted in a station in Peterborough, New Hampshire, WSCV (later WMDK and WRPT), that operated from 1970 to 1991, the WRPT license was moved to Ashland in 1997. Initially relaunching as a talk station, the station later moved to religious programming, before spending much of the 2000s and 2010s as a Portuguese station for Framingham's Brazilian community. After the station ended its Brazilian programming and went silent in 2020 due to financial problems, it became a jazz station. It converted from analog to digital-only operations in 2021, and moved to a classical music format in 2022, before again going silent in 2023 following Langer's death.

Marian High School was a private, Roman Catholic, co-educational high school in Framingham, Massachusetts, United States. It was established in 1956 and was located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston. It ran independently of the Diocese since 2004 and on April 3, 2018, the school's board voted unanimously to cease operations at the end of the 2018 school year, due to low enrollment.

Learned Pond was formed during the last glaciation. It is next to Brigham Road and Union Ave in Framingham, Massachusetts next to MetroWest Medical Center at an elevation of 165 ft. The pond has a beach and is surrounded in parts by woods.

MetroWest Medical Center is a teaching hospital in Framingham and Natick, Massachusetts. It is the largest health care provider in the MetroWest region between Boston and Worcester. MWMC was formed by the 1992 merger of two hospitals in neighboring towns: Framingham Union Hospital and Natick's Leonard Morse Hospital; the two hospitals have a combined capacity of 302 beds. It was acquired by Columbia/HCA in 1996; Tenet Health Systems in 1999; Vanguard Health Systems in 2009; and once again Tenet Healthcare Corp. in 2013 when Tenet acquired Vanguard. MWMC also operates an outpatient diagnostic and rehabilitation facility, MetroWest Wellness Center, in Framingham. MetroWest is affiliated with the Tufts Children's Hospital.

Framingham State University (Framingham State or FSU) is a public university in Framingham, Massachusetts. It offers undergraduate programs as well as graduate programs, including MBA, MEd, and MS.

WDJM-FM (91.3 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a variety format. Licensed to Framingham, Massachusetts, United States, the station is owned by Framingham State University. The station was first licensed in 1972. Originally called WFSB, the station received new calls on December 17, 1973, after a donation from Post-Newsweek Stations, which asked for the calls to replace those of WTIC-TV in Hartford, Connecticut, to honor the president of their television station group as WFSB (Channel 3). The new calls for WDJM, in turn, honored the then-president of Framingham State College, D. Justin McCarthy. In 1984, the station was granted a power increase to 100 watts and has been operating at this power ever since. The station is currently located on the 4th floor of the D. Justin McCarthy College Center. Sid Schweiger, IT manager of WRKO as well as WDJM's engineer has been working at WDJM for over 30 years. WDJM offers a wide variety of student-run programming. DJs are granted two-hour time slots in which they can play an open format of music. Show formats range from classic rock, metal, electronic, dance, religious, reggae, hip-hop, sports, and more. When a show is not on the air, WDJM broadcasts programming from the Talking Information Center. Over the years, WDJM has hosted many events and activities on campus, ranging from dances to trivia nights to game nights and more. Beginning in the fall 2011 semester, WDJM began to stream its broadcasts on the internet. In the spring of 2023, the Center for Student Experience began advising the station to consider becoming an online-only outlet. The station would conduct a year-long trial of not using its FM facility, its executive board citing the ability to not have to consider FCC regulations and facility maintenance.

The Learning Center for the Deaf (TLC) is a Framingham, Massachusetts-based non-profit organization and school serving deaf and hard-of-hearing children and adults. The mission of The Learning Center for the Deaf is to ensure that all deaf and hard of hearing children and adults thrive by having the knowledge, opportunity and power to design the future of their choice. TLC has three campuses. The main Framingham campus, where the Marie Philip and Walden Schools, and audiology clinic are located. There is also a second Framingham campus which houses Walden Community Services (WCS) and the interpreting department. There is a third campus in Springfield, MA where WCS has an additional office. TLC offers educational programs for deaf and hard of hearing students from infancy through high school. It also provides community programs including American Sign Language (ASL) classes, an audiology clinic, and interpreting services.

Danforth Art Museum at Framingham State University (formerly Danforth Museum of Art) is a museum and school in Framingham, Massachusetts. It is part of Framingham State University.

The Framingham Centre Common Historic District encompasses the historic early center of Framingham, Massachusetts. It is centered on the old town common, which is west of Edgell Road, a short way north of the busy commercial corridor of Massachusetts Route 9. The district includes 28 buildings, among them important early civic structures such as the Village Hall, old Edgell Memorial Library, First Parish Church, and the former Framingham Academy building.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

The former St. John's Episcopal Church is an historic church building on Maynard Road and Church Street in Framingham, Massachusetts. It is now the Heineman Ecumenical Center at Framingham State University. The university acquired the building in 1969. The church building was designed by local architect Alexander Rice Esty, and was built in 1871. Esty was a member of the congregation for which it was built, and donated his services.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on January 12, 1990.

Camp Framingham is a former Massachusetts National Guard camp that existed in 1873 to 1944 in Framingham, Massachusetts, also called Camp Dalton or Fort Dalton until 1898. The camp was used by all units of the Massachusetts Volunteer Militia as their summer training ground. The camp also contained a state arsenal where weapons and equipment was stored and issued to units. Fort Dalton was a training battery from 1883 to 1898, 138 feet (42 m) long with two 10 in (254 mm) Rodman guns and four siege mortars. Camp Framingham was used as a mobilization station during the Spanish–American War, in June 1916 during the Mexican border call-up and in the summer of 1917 during World War I. Other names for the camp in the Spanish–American War were Camp McGuinness and Camp Dewey. From May 1942 to December 1943, Headquarters, 181st Infantry Regiment was stationed with its companies serving on coast patrol duty for the Eastern Defense Command in New England. In 1948, Camp Framingham was transferred from the Military Division to the Massachusetts State Police. Today, the Massachusetts State Police and the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency utilize portions of the former camp.Musterfield Airport was located on the south end of the grounds, although it was not a military facility.
