Learned Pond was formed during the last glaciation. It is next to Brigham Road and Union Ave in Framingham, Massachusetts next to MetroWest Medical Center at an elevation of 165 ft. The pond has a beach and is surrounded in parts by woods.

Marian High School was a private, Roman Catholic, co-educational high school in Framingham, Massachusetts, United States. It was established in 1956 and was located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston. It ran independently of the Diocese since 2004 and on April 3, 2018, the school's board voted unanimously to cease operations at the end of the 2018 school year, due to low enrollment.

Framingham ( (listen)) is a city in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the United States. Incorporated in 1700, it is located in Middlesex County and the MetroWest subregion of the Greater Boston metropolitan area. The city proper covers 25 square miles (65 km2) with a population of 72,362 in 2020, making it the 14th most populous municipality in Massachusetts. Residents voted in favor of adopting a charter to transition from a representative town meeting system to a mayor–council government in April 2017, and the municipality transitioned to city status on January 1, 2018. Before it transitioned, it had been the largest town by population in Massachusetts. The city has one of the largest Brazilian American populations in the United States, with a considerable Brazilian presence since the 1980s.

The Amsden Building collapse occurred on July 23, 1906, in Framingham, Massachusetts. 12 people were killed when the building, which was under construction, suddenly collapsed. A thirteenth person later died from injuries suffered in the accident. The building's contractor and architect were indicted for manslaughter, but the charges were later dropped by the district attorney.

The Concord Square Historic District is a historic district on Park, Concord, and Kendall Streets, and Union Avenue in Framingham, Massachusetts. It encompasses a portion of the town's central business district, extending from the junction of Concord and Union Streets south to the South Framingham Common, and then west along Park Street. Most of the buildings in this area were built between 1890 and 1920. The oldest building is the Wallace Nutting Factory at 46 Park Street, built in the early 1870s. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Framingham station is a historic Boston and Albany Railroad station located in downtown Framingham, Massachusetts. Designed by noted American architect H. H. Richardson, it was one of the last of the railroad stations he designed in the northeastern United States to be built. The station, built in 1884–85, served as a major stop on the B&A Main Line as well as a hub for branch lines to Milford, Mansfield, Fitchburg, and Lowell. After years of deterioration, the station was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975 as the Framingham Railroad Station, and restored a decade later.In 2001, MBTA Framingham/Worcester Line and Amtrak operations were shifted to a new set of platforms nearby, which have high-level sections for handicapped-accessible boarding and a footbridge for crossing the tracks. This new station is among the busiest on the MBTA system, with 41 daily MBTA and 2 Amtrak trains on weekdays. The H. H. Richardson-designed station building remains largely intact and is currently used as a restaurant.

The Irving Square Historic District is a historic district on Irving Square, Waverly, South, Columbia, Irving, Gordon and Hollis Streets in Framingham, Massachusetts. It encompasses a portion of the town's central business district just south of the railroad tracks. It includes buildings on Hollis Street, extending south from Irving Street to Gordon Street, and buildings on Irving from Hollis to just beyond Columbia Street. Most of these commercial buildings were built between 1890 and 1930, most in the 20th century. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Bowditch Field Athletic and Cultural Complex (or simply Bowditch Field) is the main public athletic facility for the City of Framingham, Massachusetts, USA. It is located on Union Avenue midway between Downtown and Framingham Center. The facility houses a large multi-purpose football stadium that includes permanent bleachers on both sides of the field. The football field is home to the Framingham State University Rams football team and the Framingham High School Flyers football team. There is a baseball field (which is home to the Framingham State Rams and Framingham High Flyers baseball teams) with lights for night games and permanent bleachers on both dugouts, four tennis courts, two basketball courts, a track and field practice area, and the headquarters of the City Parks Department. Bowditch Field, along with Butterworth and Winch Parks, were all built during the Great Depression of the 1930s as Works Progress Administration projects.Both the baseball and football fields are natural grass and the dimensions of the baseball field are 304 feet to right field, 364 feet to center field, and 346 feet to left field.

WSRO (650 AM HD Radio) is a radio station that is silent. Licensed to Ashland, Massachusetts, it serves the MetroWest area. The station is owned by Alex Langer. WSRO also operates translator station W271CU (102.1 FM) in Framingham. Rooted in a station in Peterborough, New Hampshire, WSCV (later WMDK and WRPT), that operated from 1970 to 1991, the WRPT license was moved to Ashland in 1997. Initially relaunching as a talk station, the station later moved to religious programming, before spending much of the 2000s and 2010s as a Portuguese station for Framingham's Brazilian community. After the station ended its Brazilian programming and went silent in 2020 due to financial problems, it became a jazz station. It converted from analog to digital-only operations in 2021, and moved to a classical music format in 2022, before again going silent in 2023 following Langer's death.

The Framingham Public School District or Framingham Public Schools (FPS) comprises thirteen public schools in the town of Framingham, Massachusetts. It is classified as one of the state's 24 urban school districts, while the district generally describes itself as urban/suburban. The school district's main offices are located at 73 Mount Wayte Avenue in Framingham, in what is known as the Perini building. During the late 1990s and early 2000s Framingham upgraded its schools, replacing the former Cameron school with a completely new school and performed major renovations to the Wilson elementary school, the McCarthy elementary school and the high school. Two public school buildings that were mothballed due to financial issues or population drops were leased to the Metrowest Jewish Day School (at the former Juniper Hill Elementary) and Mass Bay Community College (at the former Farley Middle school). At some point in the 1980s, the district sold off some of its older, smaller schools that were no longer being used, including Lincoln, Roosevelt and Washington. These schools were originally constructed in the 1930s as part of several WPA buildings. Additionally, the former Memorial school on Hollis street was closed when high levels of asbestos was found in the building. The Lincoln school is now a medical office building, Memorial and Roosevelt are now senior citizen housing and Washington demolished and replaced with a park. The Framingham School Department can trace its roots back to 1706 when the town hired its first school master, Deacon Joshua Hemenway. While Framingham had its first school master, it did not get its own public school building until 1716. The first high school, the Framingham Academy, opened its doors in 1792; however that school was eventually closed due to financing issues and the legality of the town providing funds for a private school. The first town-operated high school opened in 1852 and has been in operation continuously in numerous locations throughout the town.The Superintendent of Schools is Dr. Robert Tremblay.

Camp Framingham is a former Massachusetts National Guard camp that existed in 1873 to 1944 in Framingham, Massachusetts, also called Camp Dalton or Fort Dalton until 1898. The camp was used by all units of the Massachusetts Volunteer Militia as their summer training ground. The camp also contained a state arsenal where weapons and equipment was stored and issued to units. Fort Dalton was a training battery from 1883 to 1898, 138 feet (42 m) long with two 10 in (254 mm) Rodman guns and four siege mortars. Camp Framingham was used as a mobilization station during the Spanish–American War, in June 1916 during the Mexican border call-up and in the summer of 1917 during World War I. Other names for the camp in the Spanish–American War were Camp McGuinness and Camp Dewey. From May 1942 to December 1943, Headquarters, 181st Infantry Regiment was stationed with its companies serving on coast patrol duty for the Eastern Defense Command in New England. In 1948, Camp Framingham was transferred from the Military Division to the Massachusetts State Police. Today, the Massachusetts State Police and the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency utilize portions of the former camp.Musterfield Airport was located on the south end of the grounds, although it was not a military facility.
