Ultra Twister (Nagashima Spa Land)

Looping Star is a steel roller coaster located at Nagashima Spa Land in Mie, Japan. It is a Looping Star model built by Giorno John in 1982, two years after the park’s Shuttle Loop roller coaster was built. The trains on Looping Star use a single lap bar to hold riders in the seat. This restraint is effective since the centripetal forces from the loop and helices press riders in their seats, and are a common feature on Schwarzkopf’s looping coasters. However, the ride is known to be considerably shaky and rough. The ride originally opened with four trains, but currently operates with only two. The ride has an orange and white paint scheme with blue trains.

Shuttle Loop is a steel launched Shuttle Loop roller coaster manufactured by Anton Schwarzkopf in Nagashima Spa Land in Japan. It is one of six Shuttle Loop roller coasters still operating around the world.

Hakugei (白鯨, White Whale) is a steel roller coaster at Nagashima Spa Land in Mie Prefecture, Japan. It was originally a wooden roller coaster known as White Cyclone (ホワイトサイクロン, Howaito Saikuron) manufactured by Swiss company Intamin that operated from 1994 to 2018. It was refurbished by American company Rocky Mountain Construction, which replaced the ride's wooden track with steel track and modified the ride layout, including the addition of three inversions. The renovated ride reopened on March 28, 2019.

Nagashima Spa Land (ナガシマスパーランド, Nagashima Supā Rando) is an amusement park and vacation resort in Kuwana, Mie, Japan, about 30 km west of Nagoya. The resort features an amusement park with several roller coasters, thrill rides, and kid rides, a water park (open only in the summer), a hot springs complex, an outdoor outlet mall and 3 official hotels. In 2022 Nagashima Spa Land hosted 4.2 million visitors, making it the 21st most visited amusement park in the world and the fourth-most visited in Japan behind Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea and Universal Studios Japan.

Steel Dragon 2000 (スチールドラゴン2000, Suchīru Doragon Nisen) is a steel roller coaster located at Nagashima Spa Land amusement park in Mie Prefecture, Japan. Built by D. H. Morgan Manufacturing, Steel Dragon opened to the public on August 1, 2000. It takes its name from Chinese astrology and zodiac calendars in which the year 2000 represents the dragon. It broke several world records upon its debut, becoming the longest roller coaster in the world with a track length of 2,479 metres (8,133 ft), as well as the tallest and fastest among complete-circuit coasters. It remains the longest, and with a maximum speed of nearly 153 km/h (95 mph), it is among the fastest featuring a traditional lift hill.

The Nagara River (長良川, Nagara-gawa) has its source in the city of Gujō, Gifu Prefecture, and its mouth in the city of Kuwana, Mie Prefecture, Japan. Along with the Kiso River and Ibi River, the Nagara River is one of the Kiso Three Rivers of the Nōbi Plain. Previously, the river was named Sunomata River (墨俣川 Sunomata-gawa). With a length of 166 km (103 mi), it drains an area of 1,985 square kilometres (766 sq mi) in the Chūbu region and empties into Ise Bay. The government of Japan classifies it as a Class 1 river.

The Ibi River (揖斐川, Ibi-gawa) is a tributary of the Kiso River located in Gifu and Mie Prefectures in Japan. Along with the Nagara and Kiso rivers, the Ibi is the third of the Kiso Three Rivers of the Nōbi Plain. It is one of Japan's first-class rivers. The former Tōkaidō post station of Kuwana-juku was located on the western banks of this river during the Edo period.

Kawagoe Power Station (川越火力発電所, Kawagoe karyokuhatsudensho) is a large gas-fired power station in Kawagoe, Mie, Japan. The facility operates at an installed capacity of 4,802 MW, making it the fifth largest power station of its kind.

Kuwana Castle (桑名城, Kuwana-jō) is a Japanese castle located in Kuwana, northern Mie Prefecture, Japan. At the end of the Edo period, Kuwana Castle was home to a branch the Matsudaira clan, daimyō of Kuwana Domain. The castle was also known as "Ōgi-jō" (扇城) or "Asahi-jō" (旭城).

Kuwana-juku (桑名宿, Kuwana-juku) was the forty-second of the fifty-three stations (shukuba) of the Tōkaidō connecting Edo with Kyoto in Edo period Japan. It was located in former Ise Province in what is now part of the city of Kuwana, Mie Prefecture, Japan.

Nishi-Kuwana Station (西桑名駅, Nishi-Kuwana-eki) is a passenger railway station located in the city of Kuwana, Mie Prefecture, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Sangi Railway. The station is immediately adjacent to Kuwana Station, which services the Kansai Main Line, Kintetsu Nagoya Line and the Yōrō Line. The station is used primarily by morning and evening commuters to school and work. Many passengers proceed on to Nagoya and Yokkaichi via Kintetsu and JR at Kuwana Station.

Kuwana (桑名市, Kuwana-shi) is a city located in Mie Prefecture, Japan. As of 31 March 2021, the city had an estimated population of 141,045 in 60,301 households and a population density of 1000 persons per km². The total area of the city is 136.68 square kilometres (52.77 sq mi).
