Hopeworks 'N Camden is an American nonprofit founded in 2000 to assist Camden, New Jersey youths ages 14–25 to return to school and to achieve gainful employment. The program tutors and mentors high school students, as well as out-of-school youth and offers courses in website development, geographic information system mapping and administration. Also, Hopeworks Youth Healing Team offers training and consultation to schools and nonprofits on working with traumatized youths and adults.

Penn-Jersey Shipbuilding Corp. of Camden, New Jersey was a shipyard opened in March 1940 to build ships for World War II under the Emergency Shipbuilding Program. The shipyard was on Cooper Point at north end of North 5th Street at 39.957309°N 75.117501°W / 39.957309; -75.117501. After building 29 vessels Penn-Jersey Shipbuilding Corp. closed in June 1945 after building its last vessels.

The United States lightship Barnegat (LV-79/WAL-506), is located in Camden, Camden County, New Jersey, United States. The lightship was built in 1904 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on 29 November 1979.

USS Edgar F. Coney (SP-346) was an armed tug that served in the United States Navy from 1917 to 1919. Edgar F. Coney was built as a commercial steam tug of the same name in 1904 by John B. Dialogue & Sons at Camden, New Jersey, for the South Atlantic Towboat Company. On 22 September 1917, the U.S. Navy chartered her from her owner – by then Philip Shore of Tampa, Florida – for use during World War I. She was commissioned the same day as USS Edgar F. Coney (SP-346). Assigned to the 3rd Naval District, Edgar F. Coney was based at Tompkinsville, Staten Island, New York. She carried out towing duties in the New York City area for the remainder of World War I and into 1919. Edgar F. Coney was decommissioned on 5 July 1919 and returned to her owner the same day. She returned to commercial service. The Tug sank 28 January 1930 in the Gulf of Mexico in rough seas and high winds 70 miles south east of Port Arthur, Texas. Lost with all 14 hands.

The building at 525 Cooper Street, also known as the Charles S. Boyer Building, is a professional building in the city of Camden in Camden County, New Jersey, United States. It was built in 1925 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 24, 1990, for its significance in architecture and law. The building is part of the Banks, Insurance, and Legal Buildings in Camden, New Jersey, 1873–1938 Multiple Property Submission (MPS).

Newton Friends' Meetinghouse is the home of an active meeting of the Religious Society of Friends, who meet in a historic Quaker meeting house at 808 Cooper Street in Camden, Camden County, New Jersey, United States. It was built in 1824 as an extremely simple "Quaker clapboard" structure in the typically subdued style of Quaker meeting houses. It was remodeled in 1885 by architect Wilson Eyre, Jr. in the sometimes-extravagant Queen Anne Revival style, though this expression of the style is still very subdued. The meetinghouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.

South Jersey Gas, Electric and Traction Company Office Building is located in Camden, Camden County, New Jersey, United States. The building was built in 1901 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 5, 2005. The building served as the main branch of the Camden Free Public Library after it relocated from the former Camden Free Public Library Main Building, but was closed in 2011.

The Wilson Building is located at 129 N. Broadway in Camden, Camden County, New Jersey, United States. The building was built in 1926 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 24, 1990. Renovation of the building began in 2009. The building presently houses the Camden campus of Rowan University, along with other businesses.

Camden Safe Deposit & Trust Company is located at Camden in Camden County, New Jersey, United States. The building was built in 1929 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 22, 1990. Patterned after the Riccardi Palace in Florence, Italy, the four-story building rises directly from the side walk on the northeast corner of Market Street and Broadway. The first and second levels on the Market and Broadway facades have a rusticated finish. An addition was added to the roof in the 1950s.

Cooper Street Historic District is a historic district located in Camden, Camden County, New Jersey, United States. The district goes from 2nd Street to 7th Street along Cooper Street and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 7, 1989.

The Mitchell H. Cohen United States Courthouse (1994) and the United States Post Office and Courthouse (1932) house the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in Camden, New Jersey. The back-to-back buildings are joined by a second story enclosed skyway.
