Bispebjerg

The Danish Geodata Agency (GST) (Danish: Geodatastyrelsen), (previously National Survey and Cadastre of Denmark (Danish: Kort & Matrikelstyrelsen, short KMS)), is the Danish state owned central agency responsible for surveying, mapping and land registering of all of Denmark, Greenland, the Faroe Islands and all waters associated with these. Geodatastyrelsen is an agency under the Danish Ministry of the Environment.The overall goal of Geodatastyrelsen is to supply and ensure that everyone in the Danish society has access to reliable and accurate maps and information on all parts of the Realm. Until 31 December 2004, KMS was a Sector research institute for the Ministry of the Environment in the fields of seismology, geodynamic and geodesy. The seismology part was detached on 1 July 2004 and moved under the responsibility of Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS). On 1 January 2005, the geodesy part was detached and together with Danish Space Research Institute it formed Danish National Space Center.

Nordvest (lit.: Northwest, short form of Copenhagen North West) or The North West Block is an area in Denmark's Copenhagen municipality. It is located in the southwestern part of the Bispebjerg district. Although there are no clear borders nor any official demarcation, it is broadly recognized as the area covered mostly by the Danish postal code 2400 København NV (NV being shorthand for Nordvest), although some areas lie outside this postal code. As of 2005, 44,177 people resided in the area.

The Capernaum Church (Danish: Kapernaumskirken ) is a Church of Denmark parish church located at Frederikssundsvej 45 in the North-West district of Copenhagen, Denmark. Inaugurated in 1895, it is the oldest surviving church built by the Copenhagen Church Foundation.

Lygten Station is a former railway station in the Nordvest district of Copenhagen, Denmark. Located at the far end of Nørrebrogade, immediately after it becomes Frederikssundsvej, next to Nørrebro station, on the border with Nørrebro, the building is now used as a local cultural centre.

Grundtvig's Church (Danish: Grundtvigs Kirke) is located in the Bispebjerg district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is a rare example of expressionist church architecture. Due to its originality, it is one of the best known churches in the city.

The Imam Ali Mosque (Danish: Imam Ali Moske, Arabic: مسجد الإمام علي Masjid ʾImām ʿAlī), is the largest and only Shia Muslim mosque in the country located in Nordvest, Copenhagen, Denmark. The construction of the mosque started in 2009. It was completed and opened to the public in 2015. The 2,100 square metre mosque is designed in neo-Iranian architectural style, with two 32-metre minarets and a central, turquoise dome with a space for 1,500 people.

Bispebjerg station is a station on the S-train Ring Line in Copenhagen, Denmark. Located on the boundary between the Nørrebro and Bispebjerg districts, it serves parts of each.

Nørrebro station is an interchange station between the S-train Ring Line and the Copenhagen Metro City Circle Line in the Outer Nørrebro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is situated at the junction of Nørrebrogade, Folmer Bendtsens Plads, Frederikssundsvej and Nordre Fasanvej. The functionalist station building from 1940 was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1992.

Bispebjerg Hospital is one of the hospitals in the Capital Region of Denmark. Along with a number of other hospitals and the University of Copenhagen (the Faculty of Health Sciences), Bispebjerg Hospital forms part of the Copenhagen University Hospital. The hospital is a teaching hospital for medical students from Copenhagen University.

Tagensvej is a major street in the northwestern part of inner Copenhagen, Denmark. It runs from Blegdamsvej on the border between Nørrebro and Østerbro in the southeast to Frederiksborgvej and Bispebjerg Cemetery in the northwest.

The Humane Nurse (Danish: Den Humane Sygeplejerske) is a monument to Danish nurses standing in front of Bispebjerg Hospital, facing its old main entrance and with Lersø Park as a backdrop, in the Bispebjerg district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was unveiled in 1941 and depicts a uniformed nurse holding a somewhat obstinate infant in her arms.

Mjølnerparken is a housing project located between Nørrebro and Bispebjerg S-train station in Nørrebro, Copenhagen. Approximately 1,225 people live in the area; 83% are either non-Western immigrants or born to immigrants. The majority of the inhabitants are under 18 years old. In 2022, 37.8% of the inhabitants were neither employed nor in education, 2.39% had been convicted for crime, 70.6% had only primary education or less and the average gross income was 47.9% of that for the regional average. These statistics meant that the district fulfilled enough criteria to be classified as a vulnerable residential area by Danish authorities.
