Vatsla is a village in Saue Parish, Harju County in northern Estonia, about 5 km south-west of the city of Tallinn.The village has two parts and is bisected by Vatsla tee, which forms the main artery of the village and connects it to larger arteries, such as the T191. The older part mainly lies north of this road and forms a majority of the village's buildings, while the roads are mainly narrow gravel roads. The newer part lies south of this road and consists of modern suburban buildings and a network of paved roads. There are also numerous farms and modern residential buildings in fields surrounding the village.The village is surrounded mainly by fields, while forested areas lie further away. A large part of the village's border runs along the Vääna river. There are no commercial buildings in the village. There are some smaller logistical buildings in the northern part of the village's territory and a concrete factory. Vatsla is surrounded by large industrial sites, such as quarries, thanks to its proximity to Tallinn, however they lie outside of city limits. The main transport link of the village is the aforementioned Vatsla tee, which connects to the T191, which furthermore connects to the T8, forming a straight link between Tallinn and Keila. The closest active bus stop to Vatsla lies on the T8 (bus stop Harku), with connections to Tallinn and the surrounding metro area.

Harku (German: Hark) is a small borough (Estonian: alevik) in Harku Parish, Harju County, northern Estonia. As of 2011 Census, the settlement's population was 868, of which the Estonians were 539 (62.1%).Harku was first mentioned probably in 1242 as Harkua.The only women's prison in Estonia Harku Prison is located in Harku. Politician Edgar Savisaar (born 1950) was born in the prison.

Harku manor (Estonian: Harku mõis, German: Hark) was a manor in Harjumaa, Estonia. According to current administrative borders it is located on Harku Parish in Harju County.

Pääsküla River is river in Estonia in Harju County. The river is 11.6 km long and basin size is 41.2 km2. It runs into Vääna River.Over the river is built Pääsküla stone bridge (:et). The bridge is built in 1860s. The bridge is considered as cultural heritage object of Estonia.

Laabi is a village in Harku Parish, Harju County in northern Estonia. It's located west of the capital Tallinn (about 11 km (7 mi) from the city centre), behind the Lake Harku. The eastern half of the village's territory is covered by the Harku limestone rubble quarry. In the western part there are several industrial enterprises including alcohol producer Altia and Tallegg's chicken farm. There's also a kart circuit. Laabi has a population of 88 (as of 1 June 2010).

Harku Prison (Estonian: Harku vangla) was an Estonian prison. The prison was located in Harku, Harju County. The prison was established in 1926.1965 the prison was adapted to women's prison.2011 Harku Prison was merged to Murru Prison.2016 Harku and Murru Prison was merged to Tallinn Prison. Prisoners were transported to Tallinn, Tartu and Viru Prison.

Tabasalu is a small borough (Estonian: alevik) in Harju County, northern Estonia, located about 13 km west from the capital Tallinn. It is the administrative centre of Harku Parish. As of 1 June 2022, the settlement's population was 3,845.

Vanamõisa is a village in Saue Parish, Harju County in northern Estonia. The name of the village comes from the Vanamõisa manor, which was separated from Saue manor in 1670.Some of the main attractions in the village today are one of the biggest caravan park in Estonia, Vanamõisa open-air leisure centre (Vanamõisa Vabaõhukeskus) and Kasemäe horse stable.
