The Estonian Weather Service (Estonian: Riigi Ilmateenistus) is the Estonian national meteorological service. Estonian Weather Service is a department part of the Estonian Environment Agency, which in turn is under the responsibility of the Ministry of the Environment.Estonian Weather Service is a member of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT). The Estonian Land Board (Estonian: Maa-amet) is an official body, dealing with cartography and cadastre issues in Estonia. It is subordinated the Ministry of the Environment. The Land Board is a government agency that participates actively in the development and implementation of national land policy and provides the society with up-to-date land-related information. The Land Board's vision is to guarantee the availability and fitness for use of the up-to-date national land information and an efficient management of state assets. The Land Board was founded on January 16, 1990. Its name at that time was the Estonian National Land Board and it started its work under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Agriculture. Since June 3, 1991 the Land Board has been operating under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of the Environment. The Land Board was established with the objective to ensure a more efficient management and use of land, organise geodetic and cartographic activities, establish the land cadastre, organise land assessment and supervise the enforcement of land tax, issue licences for land readjustment activities, solve land disputes, etc. With years the implementation of national land policy and provision of spatial data have become the Land Board's main fields of activities, which in their turn can be subdivided into four: • Implementation of national land policy (execution of land reform, administration of state-owned lands, acquisition of immovable properties the use of which is restricted due to nature conservation requirements, protection of state interests in planning processes) • Maintenance of land cadastre (management of cadastral data and guaranteeing their availability to the public, organising land surveying and control of surveying quality, organising land assessment) • Geoinformatics (management of spatial data, provision of spatial data services and coordination of geoinformation related activities) • Capture and management of geodetic, geological and topographic data (organising the establishment of geodetic networks, organising geological mapping, mapping of the Estonian territory, providing national topographic data and maps to the society)

Merimetsa (Estonian for "Sea Forest") is a subdistrict (Estonian: asum) in the district of Põhja-Tallinn, Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. It is mostly covered by the park forest Merimets (Sea Forest (German: Seewald); also known as Stroomi Forest (Estonian: Stroomi mets), derived from the nearby Stroomi Beach). Merimetsa has a population of 4 (As of 1 January 2014).

Kristiine (Estonian for "Christina") is one of the 8 administrative districts (Estonian: linnaosa) of Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. Kristiine is divided into 3 subdistricts (Estonian: asum): Järve Lilleküla TondiThe name of Kristiine originates from the Swedish Queen Christina under whose rule in 1653 the area was divided into 46 pieces (each of them 9 ha) and sold to businessmen and city officials for 100 riksdaler. The whole area was called Christinental (Valley of Christina) and later Kristiine hayfield.The elder of the district is Andrei Novikov (as of September 2013).

Lilleküla (lit. 'Flower Village') is a subdistrict of the district of Kristiine in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. It has a population of 24,939 (As of 1 January 2015).On the eastern side of Lilleküla there's a train station "Lilleküla" on the Elron's western route. One of the largest shopping centres in Estonia, Kristiine Centre, is located in Lilleküla.

Pelgulinn (Estonian for "Refuge Town") is a subdistrict (asum) of Põhja-Tallinn (North Tallinn) in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. It is located about 2 km (1 mi) northwest from the city centre. Pelgulinn borders Kalamaja to the east, Kelmiküla to the southeast, Lilleküla to the south, Merimetsa to the west, Pelguranna to the northwest, and Karjamaa to the north. Subdistrict has a population of 15,949 (As of 1 January 2015).In the 18th century the area was largely covered by meadows and forests. It was used by criminals and outlaws as a hiding place, hence the name Pelgulinn which refers to a hiding place. Pelgulinn started as a slum inhabited by the workers of Tallinn–Saint Petersburg railway in the end of the 19th century.

Sääse (Estonian for "Gnat") is a subdistrict (Estonian: asum) in the district of Mustamäe, Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. It has a population of 8,881 (As of 1 January 2014).

Põhja-Tallinn (Estonian for "Northern Tallinn") is one of the 8 administrative districts (Estonian: linnaosa) of Tallinn, the capital of Estonia.

Siili (Estonian for "Hedgehog") is a subdistrict (Estonian: asum) in the district of Mustamäe, Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. It has a population of 3,649 (As of 1 January 2014).

Kristiine Centre (Estonian: Kristiine Keskus) is a shopping centre in Tallinn, Estonia. It's situated in Kristiine district's subdistrict of Lilleküla. Kristiine is one of the largest shopping centres in Estonia by the amount of shops. It has a gross leasable area of 53,000 m2 (570,000 sq ft) containing nearly 170 different shops (including 18 restaurants and cafés). The shopping centre has three floors, with the shops and other commercial services on the ground and first floors. The third floor is reserved for parking. The biggest shops in the centre are Prisma, H&M, Marks and Spencer, Euronics, and Apollo. Kristiine Centre opened in 1999. At first, it was planned to be a 10,000 m2 (110,000 sq ft) shopping centre but a 21,000 m2 (230,000 sq ft) centre was built instead. The building cost 19,174 million euros. In 2002 the centre grew by 17,000 m2 (180,000 sq ft) (at first, the extension was planned to be a cinema). In 2010, a second extension was built, adding another 20,000 m2 (220,000 sq ft) to the centre's area.

Pelguranna (Estonian for "Refuge Beach") is a subdistrict (asum) in the district of Põhja-Tallinn (North Tallinn) in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. It is located between Pelgulinn, Kopli and Sitsi and is bordered with the Stroomi Beach by the Kopli Bay (part of Tallinn Bay) to the west, and the Merimets forest park to the south. Houses there mostly consist of 4-9 floor apartment buildings. Pelguranna has a population of 15,142 (As of 1 January 2015).The construction of first residential buildings started in the end of the 1940s. The area was previously known as Sitsi karjamaa ("Sitsi pasture") but was primarily a wasteland with some kitchen gardens. With its small quarters, Pelguranna was one of the first complexly built neighborhoods in Tallinn (by architects K. Luts and August Volberg). Besides the apartment buildings, there were built schools, kindergartens, shops, a polyclinic and a cinema. That area makes up the northern half of the nowadays Pelguranna. The southern part was built from 1960s to the 1980s and consists of pre-fabricated panel houses. The main recreational area is the Stroomi Beach (also known as Pelgurand), which is also one of two most popular beaches in Tallinn (the other being Pirita Beach in Pirita).
