Horsley Park, New South Wales

The Sydney International Equestrian Centre (SIEC for short) is the facility which was used to host equestrian events during the 2000 Summer Olympics and 2000 Summer Paralympics. The centre is located 45 kilometres from Sydney's business district and the harbour at Saxony Road, Horsley Park. Construction began in 1997, was finished in 1999 and it successfully hosted Olympic and Paralympic equestrian events in 2000.

In a 2009–10 survey, the park had attracted approximately 430,000 visitors per annum.

Abbotsbury is a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia 39 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district in the local government area of the City of Fairfield. Abbotsbury is part of the Greater Western Sydney region. Most of the suburb's estates were built in the late 1980s and early 1990s, although a few acres of undeveloped land in the north-west area was subdivided and developed in the early 2010s. The western border of the suburb is delineated by a line of pine trees, which gives privacy to the homes backing onto the farmlands.

The parklands attract 430,000 to 790,000 visitors annually. In addition, the parkland provided lands for the 2000 Olympic Games.

The Horsley complex is a heritage-listed former vineyard, orchard, horse breeding farm and stock breeding farm and now residence and pastoral property at 52–58 Jamieson Close, Horsley Park, City of Fairfield, New South Wales, Australia. It was built from 1805 to 1832. It is also known as Horsley complex (homestead, outbuildings, garden, farm), Horsley Park, King's Gift and Horsley House. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

The Division of McMahon is an Australian electoral division in the state of New South Wales. McMahon is located in Sydney's Outer Western Suburbs. Bossley Park High School (abbreviated as BPHS) is a government-funded co-educational comprehensive secondary day school, located in Bossley Park, a western suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Established in 1988, the school enrolled approximately 1,500 students in 2018, from Year 7 to Year 12, of whom one percent identified as Indigenous Australians and 82 percent were from a language background other than English. The school is operated by the NSW Department of Education in accordance with a curriculum developed by the New South Wales Education Standards Authority. The school's catchment area includes the rapidly developing suburbs of Bossley Park and Abbotsbury in western Sydney. In 1999 it was revealed by The Sunday Telegraph that Bossley Park High School was the richest state high school which had a bank balance of more A$7 million. In 2004, The Sydney Morning Herald revealed the school had more than $10 million in reserves.
