Hohe Möhr

Schweigmatt is a hamlet located in the southern Black Forest of Germany at an altitude of 780 metres. It belongs to the village of Raitbach and is part of the municipality of Schopfheim in the district of Lörrach. Schweigmatt lies beneath the 985 m peak of the Hohe Möhr, from which it is possible to see as far as the Swiss Alps and Jura Mountains across the Rhine River. This hamlet was first mentioned in documents in 1113, but gained international recognition only recently as the birthplace of actress Q'orianka Kilcher.

Zell im Wiesental is a town in the district of Lörrach in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is situated in the Black Forest, on the river Wiese, 26 km northeast of Basel, and 32 km south of Freiburg. The town is famous for being the birthplace of Constanze Weber, wife of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Zell (Wiesental) station is the only station in Zell im Wiesental in the German state of Baden-Württemberg and the terminus of the Wiese Valley Railway (Wiesentalbahn), which runs from Basel Badischer Bahnhof. Since the summer of 2003, Zell station has been served only by the Basel Regional S-Bahn.

Hausen-Raitbach station (German: Bahnhof Hausen-Raitbach) is a railway station in the municipality of Hausen im Wiesental, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is located on standard gauge Wiese Valley Railway of Deutsche Bahn.

The Montfort Realschule in Zell im Wiesental, a town in the Black Forest in Germany, is a school with approximately 800 students. The school contains 5th through 10th grades for kids coming from cities nearby. Courses offered include English, French, and many of the classes expected of a school, such as grammar and History. In 1985, the school was named after the noble Montfort family, who settled in the area in the 18th century where they developed a regional textile industry.

Hausen im Wiesental is a village in the Lörrach district of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is famous for the dialectal poet Johann Peter Hebel who lived in Hausen for many years. The eminent expressionistic painter August Babberger was born in Hausen in 1885. The first historic mention of Hausen was in 1362.

Hasel is a municipality in the district of Lörrach in Baden-Württemberg in Germany. The placename was first mentioned in a document dated 7 June 820 in which the monastery of St. Gallen lent its property in "Hasalaho" as a fief. In all probability the placename refers to a place of jurisdiction and execution of the Alamanni that was enclosed by hazel pales. The German word "Hasel" which is the placename means the same as the English "Hazel". It has been said that this is the location of The Dwarves' Cavern which was supposedly once home to many dwarves. This legend gives the cavern its name. The preceding statement may refer to the Erdmannshöhle where the legend is, however, not about dwarfs (which is "Zwerge" in German), but rather "Erdmännlein" which can be translated as "manikin of the earth" and which seem to have a different origin. It is, however, possible that the "dwarvers" have their origin in the "Erdmännlein".

The Zeller Blauen (more rarely: Hochblauen) is a mountain, 1,077.1 m above sea level (NHN), in the southern Black Forest in Germany. It belongs to Zell im Wiesental in the Baden-Württemberg county of Lörrach. The mountain, with its steep slopes to the south, west and east, dominates the Wiese valley north of the town of Zell and towers above it by more than 600 metres. To the north a ridge runs from the forested summit region of the Zeller Blauen, between the Kleines Wiesental in the west and the Wiesental in the east, to the Belchen 10 kilometres away. Along the southern flank of the Zeller Blauen are the remains of military earthworks. On the west mountainside, at an elevation of about 700 to 800 metres in the parish of Adelsberg, are the hamlets of Blauen and Oberblauen. In a 1788 Black Forest map at St. Blaise Abbey the mountain is annotated as "auf dem hohen Blauen" ("on the high Blauen"). In the 1846 atlas, Topographischen Atlas ueber das Grossherzogtum Baden, it is called "Hochblauen". This description is also common for the mountain of Blauen, twelve kilometres away to the west-northwest.

The Erdmannshöhle is a stalactite or flowstone cave in the village Hasel between Schopfheim and Wehr, 20 km east of Lörrach in Baden-Württemberg in Germany.

The Eichener See ("Lake Eichen"), known in the Alemannic dialect as the Eiemer See, near Eichen in the Baden-Württemberg county of Lörrach is a periodic (astatic) karst lake in the Southern Black Forest in Germany. The lake, which only contains water when there is a high water table, lies in a hollow, a muschelkalk-karst basin. It has no surface inflow, its outflows are partly subterranean and partly through evaporation.

Schopfheim-Schlattholz station (German: Bahnhof Schopfheim-Schlattholz) is a railway station in the municipality of Schopfheim, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is located on standard gauge Wiese Valley Railway of Deutsche Bahn. The station opened on 9 December 2017. An infill station, it was built at a cost of 1.4 million euros, shared between the city and the Basel Commuter Fund (Pendlerfonds Basel). The stop is handicap-accessible, and includes a 150-metre (490 ft)-long side platform with shelters and ticket vending machines.
