Wantagh Railroad Complex

Samuel and Elbert Jackson House is a historic home located at Wantagh in Nassau County, New York. It is an essentially L-shaped dwelling. It is a 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure with rear and side wings, one of which dates to the 18th century. The large main, square central block dates from the mid-19th century and is two stories with a simple, straight pitched gable roof. There are Greek Revival details.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

Wantagh Senior High School is a two-time National Blue Ribbon School — a designation awarded annually by the United States Department of Education to high-performing American schools. Readings of college and career readiness amongst students at the high school measured “far above” the New York state average. The school caters to students in grades 9-12 and boasts a 99% graduation rate.

Oakfield Cemetery (also known as the Old Burying Ground) is a 70 X 438 tract of land located on Oakfield Avenue in Wantagh, New York, in the United States. It is covered with grass and lined with sporadically placed oak trees, and is surrounded by residential homes. Backyard fencing of homes also surrounds the land on both sides. The cemetery is now kept locked to keep vandals out. It was first deeded as a cemetery on March 18, 1851, and is noted as the second cemetery in the area to be used by Black residents of Wantagh, many of whom were descendants of freed Jackson family slaves. It is most noted as being the final resting place of four black Civil War soldiers. The Town of Hempstead takes care of this property. It is nicknamed by area residents as "Indian Burying Ground."

Seaford High School is a public high school located in Seaford, New York, United States serving students in the ninth through twelfth grades. It is in the Seaford Union Free School District. As of the 2014–15 school year, the school had an enrollment of 756 students and 61.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.3:1. Bellmore Cinema is one of the oldest single-screen movie theaters on Long Island. Established in 1914, and located in Bellmore, New York, it has survived wars, Prohibition, two pandemics, and numerous strikes. Bellmore is a station on the Babylon Branch of the Long Island Rail Road. It is located on the north side of Sunrise Highway between Bedford and Centre Avenues in Bellmore, New York, however the actual land area occupied by the station's several parking lots begins west of Centre Avenue and continues east of Bellmore Avenue.

Jerusalem District No. 5 Schoolhouse is a historic one-room school building located at 3510 Old Jerusalem Rd, Wantagh, New York in Nassau County, New York. It is owned by Levittown Union Free School District #5. It was built in 1876 and enlarged to three rooms about 1920. It is a T-shaped building with the original section located at the rear. It is a long frame building on a poured concrete foundation and hipped roof with shallow overhanging eaves. The main entrance features a portico. It is now leased out to a private day care facility. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996, and was also listed as a Town of Hempstead Historic Site.

MacArthur High School is a public high school located in Levittown, New York. One of two high schools in the Levittown Union Free School District, the school is named after United States General Douglas MacArthur. As of the 2018–19 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,234 students and 95.8 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.9:1. There were 67 students (5.4% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 42 (3.4% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.According to the 2007 Newsweek Magazine issue of Top 1,200 U.S. schools, MacArthur High School was ranked as #518.
