Wantagh Park is a county park located in southeastern Nassau County, New York within the hamlet of Wantagh. At 111 acres (0.45 km2) the park provides various recreational activities along a picturesque waterfront location.

John F. Kennedy High School is a public high school located in Bellmore, New York. It is one of three high schools in the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District. As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 999 students and 78.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.2:1. There were 98 students (9.4% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 5 (0.5% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.The school is open during normal school months. Its newspaper is the Cougar Crier. In local athletics, this school is referred to as Bellmore JFK to avoid confusion with the nearby Plainview JFK.

Wantagh Railroad Complex (also known as the Wantagh Museum), is a collection of old buildings in Wantagh, New York. It consists of the 1885-built Wantagh Railroad Station before it was moved from its original location in 1966, when the Babylon Branch was being elevated throughout the mid-20th century. The station itself was a replacement for original South Side Railroad of Long Island station built in 1867. It also includes a diamond-shaped pre-crossbuck railroad crossing sign, and an old grade crossing gate.

Bellmore is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in Nassau County, New York, United States. The population according to the 2010 census was 16,218. Bellmore is located on the south shore of Long Island 5 miles from Jones Beach State Park, approximately 27 miles (43 km) east of Manhattan, and 10 miles (16 km) east of the Nassau-Queens (New York City) Line. Bellmore, along with North Bellmore, are referred to collectively as "The Bellmores". The part of the latter area south of Merrick Road (or possibly south of Sunrise Highway) is sometimes called "South Bellmore". Bellmore serves as a suburb of New York City on Long Island. Penn Station in Manhattan is typically a 45-minute direct ride from the station on the Long Island Rail Road's Babylon Branch. John F. Kennedy Int'l Airport is located within 15 miles (24 km) of Bellmore, making it convenient for travelers. Major thoroughfares that wind through the suburb include Sunrise Highway, Southern State Parkway, Merrick Road, Bellmore Avenue, Jerusalem Avenue, and Newbridge Road.

Established in 1914, and located in Bellmore, New York, it has survived wars, Prohibition, two pandemics, and numerous strikes. Owned by Henry and Anne Stampfel, it is the last single-screen movie theater on Long Island. It represents a story of film, family business, and survival. The theater has adapted by presenting events, film festivals, comedy, plays, and a mix of movies to keep seats filled in the age of Netflix, providing history, longevity, and hope for the film industry.

Samuel and Elbert Jackson House is a historic home located at Wantagh in Nassau County, New York. It is an essentially L-shaped dwelling. It is a 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure with rear and side wings, one of which dates to the 18th century. The large main, square central block dates from the mid-19th century and is two stories with a simple, straight pitched gable roof. There are Greek Revival details.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

Seaford is a station on the Babylon Branch of the Long Island Rail Road. It is officially located at New York State Route 27 and Jackson Avenue in Seaford, New York, however parking areas stretch as beyond Washington Avenue east of this corner, and west towards the interchange with New York State Route 135.

Seaford High School is a public high school located in Seaford, New York, United States serving students in the ninth through twelfth grades. It is in the Seaford Union Free School District. As of the 2014–15 school year, the school had an enrollment of 756 students and 61.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.3:1. There were 43 students (5.7% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 22 (2.9% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.
