John and Edna Truesdell Fischer Farmstead

Territorial Road was the first main road through Michigan, from Detroit to Chicago, Illinois. In the 19th century, it led people from the Eastern United States through Michigan Territory. It was also called the Chicago Road.

The Sheldon Inn was a two-story apartment building located at 44134 Michigan Avenue, in Sheldon Corners in Canton Township, Michigan. It was built in 1825, and previously used as a single-family home and a travelers' inn. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000. It was demolished in 2021.

Triumph Church is a non-denominational evangelical multi-site megachurch based in Detroit, Michigan, USA. It was founded in the fall of 1920 by Reverend Claude Cummings as the Triumph Missionary Baptist Church. Reverend Solomon W. Kinloch, Jr. is currently the Senior Pastor. The church has six weekend and three midweek services and its average attendance makes it one of the largest churches in Detroit and Michigan. In the last few years, the church has been recognized for its rapid growth. According to Outreach Magazine, it was the 3rd fastest growing church in the United States in 2008, with more than 2,000 new members formalizing a commitment to the church. That growth has continued through 2013, when the church topped the same list with 3,800 new members.

The George and Mary Pine Smith House is a private house located at 3704 Sheldon Road, near Sheldon in Canton Township, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

The David and Elizabeth Bell Boldman House was a private house located at 3339 Canton Center Road near Sheldon in Canton Township, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000. The former site of the house is now vacant.

The Lilley Road—Lower Rouge River Bridge is an automotive bridge located on Lilley Road over the Lower River Rouge in Canton, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

Willow Run Air Force Station is a former United States Air Force station that operated to the east of Willow Run Airport in Michigan.

Canton, officially the Charter Township of Canton, is a charter township of Wayne County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 census, the township had a population of 98,659.Canton Township is Michigan's second most-populated township (after Clinton Township) and ninth most-populated municipality overall. The township is ranked as the 96th highest-income place in the United States with a population of 50,000 or more and is also consistently ranked as one of the safest cities in the state and nation. In 2015, the township was ranked as the 29th safest city in the United States.

A multiple property submission is a group of related structures that share a common theme. The Canton Township MPS consists of eleven houses (some with associated property and outbuildings) built between 1825 and 1904 and located in Canton Township, Michigan.

The Ephraim and Emma Woodworth Truesdell House is a private house located at 1224 Haggerty Road in Canton Township, Michigan. The structure is significant because it is one of the most finely crafted houses in the township and because of its association with one of the most important families in the area. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

The Michigan Flight Museum, formerly known as the Yankee Air Museum, is an aviation museum located at Willow Run Airport in Van Buren Township, Michigan. The museum has a small fleet of flying aircraft and a collection of static display aircraft outdoors.

Van Buren Township is a charter township in Wayne County in the U.S. state of Michigan. A western suburb of Detroit, Van Buren Township is located roughly 28 miles (45.1 km) southwest of downtown Detroit, and 17 miles (27.4 km) southeast of Ann Arbor. As of the 2020 census, the township had a population of 30,375. It surrounds, but is independent of, the city of Belleville. Belleville Lake is a principal geographic feature, and the township is also home to Willow Run Airport, which extends into neighboring Ypsilanti Township.
