Refuge de Turia

Mont Turia is a shoulder on the north ridge of Mont Pourri in Savoie, France. It lies in the Massif de la Vanoise range. It has an elevation of 3,646 metres above sea level.

Aiguille Rouge is a mountain of Savoie, France. It lies in the Vanoise Massif and has an elevation of 3,227 metres above sea level. It is the highest point within the ski area of Les Arcs and is a fairly easy hike from the village below. It can also be accessed by a cable-car which almost reaches the summit area. In 2019 was installed a footbridge at the summit of the mountain that offers a panoramic view of the valley.

Mont Pourri (3,779 m) is a mountain in the Vanoise Massif in the Graian Alps. It is located in the Vanoise National Park, nearby Les Arcs ski resort.

Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃t fwa taʁɑ̃tɛz]) is a commune in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise is a village in the Tarentaise Valley in Savoie, France. The old village lies on the main road between Bourg-Saint-Maurice and Val-d'Isère. About 4 km above the village (turning left at La Thuile) is the ski resort of Sainte Foy (referred as Sainte Foy Station).

Villaroger is a commune in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. It is situated in the upper Tarentaise Valley, between Bourg-Saint-Maurice and Tignes. The commune of Villaroger extends from 850m at the river Isère up to 3779m at the Mont Pourri. Villaroger is made up of several hamlets, the main village being at 1075m. The name Villaroger comes from “Villarium Ogerii” which indicates the existence of a villa during the Middle Ages, which belonged to a certain Oger or Ogier, a family name particularly common among the French during the 5th and the 6th centuries. For years the main source of income has been farming and cheese production. In addition to these traditional ways of life, tourism now plays an important part. Villaroger has been linked to Les Arcs by a three man chairlift since 1982. Its geographical situation and landscape lends itself to numerous winter and summer activities.

Montvalezan (French pronunciation: [mɔ̃valzɑ̃]; Arpitan: Molèzan) is a commune in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. In 2018, it had a population of 701. Montvalezan is best known for containing La Rosière ski resort. It is located in the Tarentaise Valley, on the road of Little St Bernard Pass.

Tignes-les-Brevières (1550m) is a small skiing village in the French Alps that is the lowest point of the ski resort of Tignes. Owing to its geographical location the village receives as much snowfall as its neighbours and during the 2005/6 season, Les Brevieres had over 4 metres of snow. The town is connected to other parts of Tignes after ski runs shut by a continuously operating gondola.

Les Arcs (French pronunciation: [le.z‿aʁk]) is a ski resort located in Savoie, France, in the Tarentaise Valley town of Bourg-Saint-Maurice. Initially created by Robert Blanc and Roger Godino, it is a part of the huge Paradiski system which is under ownership by Compagnie des Alpes, a French-listed company owning several other ski resorts as well as theme parks.

Montée d'Hauteville (1639 m.) is a mountain climb that was used in the 2007 Tour de France. The race caravan covered the first 15.3 km of the climb from Bourg-Saint-Maurice to the Little St Bernard Pass on the N. 90 border route to Courmayeur in Italy.
