Dôme des Pichères

The Bellecôte is a mountain in the Vanoise Massif in the Graian Alps, lying in the northern part of the Vanoise National Park and dominating the Peisey-Nancroix valley in Savoie. The north face is immense and austere, whereas the south face is more accessible. The resort of La Plagne lies on one side of the Bellecôte.

The heavy stone-built dwellings, bafflingly described by Pevsner as Tirolean vernacular, are situated under a large bluff. Many of the houses have been refurbished as second residences. In the winter, the road becomes impassable, and is groomed for cross country skiing between Le Bois and Laisonnay. The hills around Friburge are riddled with marmots. The locals have a tradition of occasionally erecting igloos.

Paradiski is a ski-area in the Tarentaise Valley of France that offers uninterrupted skiing in between the areas of Les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry and La Plagne. The area is linked, since December 2003, by the Vanoise Express lift. In total over the three resorts there are 160 lifts and 425 km (264 mi) of pistes, with 152 green/blue (beginner) runs, 79 red (intermediate) runs, and 22 black (expert) runs. Well known neighbour ski areas are Espace Killy (Val d'Isère and Tignes) and Les Trois Vallées (Courchevel, Meribel, Val Thorens and more). Lift tickets can span across all the areas. There were plans to interlink all resorts, creating the largest ski area in the world, however that vision ended due to the creation of the Vanoise National Park.

Mont Pourri (3,779 m) is a mountain in the Vanoise Massif in the Graian Alps. It is located in the Vanoise National Park, nearby Les Arcs ski resort.

Mont Turia is a shoulder on the north ridge of Mont Pourri in Savoie, France. It lies in the Massif de la Vanoise range. It has an elevation of 3,646 metres above sea level.

Dôme de la Sache is a mountain of Savoie, France. It lies in the Massif de la Vanoise range. It has an elevation of 3,601 metres above sea level.

Aiguille Rouge is a mountain of Savoie, France. It lies in the Vanoise Massif and has an elevation of 3,227 metres above sea level. It is the highest point within the ski area of Les Arcs and is a fairly easy hike from the village below. It can also be accessed by a cable-car which almost reaches the summit area. In 2019 was installed a footbridge at the summit of the mountain that offers a panoramic view of the valley.
