QT8

QT8 is a station on Line 1 of the Milan Metro in Milan, Italy. The underground station was opened on 8 November 1975 as a one-station extension from Lotto. On 12 April 1980, the line was extended to San Leonardo. It is located at Piazza Santa Maria Nascente, in the QT8 district.

The Allianz Cloud Arena, formerly known as PalaLido, is a multi-purpose indoor arena that is located in the Italian city of Milan, capital of Lombardy. The arena's primary use is to host basketball and volleyball games, but it can also be used to host handball, tennis, gymnastics, and wrestling. The arena currently has a seating capacity of 5,420 for sports events. It will host ice sledge hockey in the 2026 Winter Paralympics.

The Alfa Romeo Portello Plant in Portello Milan, Italy was the first Alfa Romeo factory, and the main factory between 1908 and the 1960s. The factory was closed in 1986 following FIAT's buyout of Alfa Romeo, but all major production had already been transferred 20 years earlier to the Alfa Romeo Arese Plant. The history of the factory is primarily involved in automobile manufacture, but over the years other products were manufactured as well.

The Hippodrome of San Siro (Italian: Ippodromo di San Siro) is a horse racing venue in Milan, Italy, which takes its name from the neighborhood of the same name in which it is located.

Lotto is a station on Lines 1 and 5 of the Milan Metro in Milan, Italy. The underground station was opened on 1 November 1964 as the northwestern terminus of the inaugural section of the Metro, between Sesto Marelli and Lotto. On 8 November 1975, the line was extended by one station to QT8. Since 2015, it has also been served by Line 5. It is located on Piazzale Lorenzo Lotto.

Leonardo's Horse (also known as the Sforza Horse or the Gran Cavallo ("Great Horse") ) is a project for a bronze sculpture that was commissioned from Leonardo da Vinci in 1482 by the Duke of Milan Ludovico il Moro, but never completed. It was intended to be the largest equestrian statue in the world, a monument to the duke's father Francesco Sforza. Leonardo did extensive preparatory work for it but produced only a large clay model, which was later destroyed. About five centuries later, Leonardo's surviving designs were used as the basis for sculptures intended to bring the project to fruition.

Lampugnano is a district (quartiere) of Milan, Italy, part of the Zone 8 administrative division of the city. Until 1841, it was an autonomous comune. A prominent structure of Lampugnano is PalaSharp, which used to be one of Milan's major indoor arenas, housing sporting events, concerts, live shows and political meetings. The nearby Milan Metro subway is also adjacent to a bus terminal and a major parking, and is thus a reference place for many commuters who travel daily to the city from the western part of the Metropolitan City of Milan.

Palatrussardi, later known as PalaVobis, PalaTucker, Mazda Palace and PalaSharp, was an indoor arena located in Milan, Italy. The seating capacity was 8,479 and it hosted concerts and sporting events. It was built in 1985 to replace two pre-existing structures, the Sport Palace and the Palatenda.The arena hosted the 1987 Basketball Intercontinental Cup in which local Philips Milano defeated FC Barcelona and won the competition.

Lampugnano is an underground station on Line 1 of the Milan Metro in Milan, Italy. The station was opened on 12 April 1980 as part of the extension from Lotto to San Leonardo. It is located on Via Giulio Natta, in the Lampugnano district, from which it takes its name. It is located near the Palasharp and the main terminal for intercity bus service. The station has a car park with 1830 parking spaces.

Portello is a district ("quartiere") of Milan, Italy, part of the Zone 8 administrative division of the city, located north-west of the centre. It is best known as a car-manufacturing area, as it used to house facilities of Alfa Romeo (now dismissed), Darracq, Citroën, and Fiat. The district also includes one of the major shopping malls in north-western Milan. It is crossed by the Circonvallazione ring road. Portello is adjacent to the new CityLife district.

San Siro (Lombard: San Sir) is a vast district ("quartiere") of Milan, Italy, part of the Zone 7 administrative division of the city. About 5 km north-west of the city centre, it borders the districts of Lampugnano, QT8, FieraMilano, and Trenno.

San Siro Ippodromo is a station on Line 5 of the Milan Metro.
