Arlington Catholic High School

Russell Common is a historic row house at 2—10 Park Terrace in Arlington, Massachusetts. It is located just northeast of the center of town, behind the retail stores on Massachusetts Avenue. It is accessible from the municipal lot behind the Jefferson Cutter House (entries from Mystic St. and Medford St.) The 2+1⁄2-story building is a rare example of a multiunit Shingle style building, and was designed by the locally prominent firm of Gay & Proctor. It was built for its proximity to the railroad, but is now surrounded by the commercial center of Arlington, and a parking lot that was a park at the time of its construction.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

The Henry Swan House is a historic house in Arlington, Massachusetts. The 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame house was built in 1888 by Henry Swan, a Boston poultry dealer who was also active in local politics. The house is a well-preserved example of the sort of late Victorian houses that were once much more typical along Massachusetts Avenue.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985, and was also included that year in an expansion of the Arlington Center Historic District.

The Uncle Sam Memorial Statue is a statue commemorating Samuel Wilson, perhaps the original Uncle Sam, near his birthplace in the center of Arlington, Massachusetts, United States. It was sculpted by Theodore Cotillo Barbarossa. It is located on Mystic Street, across from the Cyrus Dallin Art Museum, and adjacent to the Minuteman Bikeway. The sculpture is a bronze relief of Uncle Sam and three-dimensional sculpture of Samuel Wilson, installed on a limestone base in front of a wall rising from the base's rear. It was funded by Frederick A. Hauck of Cincinnati, Ohio, cast in 1976, installed during the United States Bicentennial on September 11, 1976, and dedicated April 18, 1977. The bronze relief depicts the life and work of Samuel Wilson in Troy, New York and Mason, New Hampshire, and in Menotomy, Massachusetts (now Arlington, Massachusetts). The relief includes a depiction of the familiar image of the elderly "Uncle Sam" figure in top hat and tails. At its top is a butcher and a ship coming in to dock next to the word "TROY"; in the middle is a pioneer couple standing behind a fence with the words "MASON N-H"; and at the bottom is a soldier on horseback above the word "MENOTOMY." To the relief's right is a standing portrait of Wilson carrying his top hat in the crook of his left arm and extending his right hand slightly. The sculpture is approximately 8 feet, 8 inches high, on a base approximately 15 feet, 8 inches high by 10 feet wide. Its weight is 17 tons. The Battle of Menotomy was an action on April 19, 1775 (the day of the Battles of Lexington and Concord, the opening day of the American Revolutionary War), in what is now Arlington, Massachusetts. 5,100 men from eastern Middlesex County and southern Essex County gathered in Menotomy to meet the retreating British troops on their way to Boston from Concord. 25 rebels and 40 British troops were killed in this battle. It was here in Menotomy that the first British soldiers were captured.

The Cyrus Dallin Art Museum (CDAM) in Arlington, Massachusetts, United States is dedicated to displaying the artworks and documentation of American sculptor, educator, and Indigenous rights activist Cyrus Dallin, who lived and worked in the town for over 40 years. He is best known for his iconic Appeal to the Great Spirit and Paul Revere Monument statues, both located in Boston.

Arlington station (also known as Arlington Center and Arlington Centre) was a regional rail station in Arlington, Massachusetts. Located in downtown Arlington, it served the Lexington Branch. It was closed in January 1977 when service on the Lexington Branch was suspended.

The William Proctor House is a historic house in Arlington, Massachusetts. The 2.5-story wood-frame house was built c. 1870, and is a rare local example of Second Empire styling. The house was owned for many years by William Proctor, a bank teller who commuted to work in Boston. Proctor's son, also named William, was a principal in the architectural firm of Gay & Proctor, which designed a number of Arlington landmarks.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. It now houses professional offices.

The Damon House is a historic house in Arlington, Massachusetts. Although traditionally associated with the Rev. David Damon of the First Parish Church, this 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame house was probably built c. 1855, after Damon's death, by one of his descendants. It is five bays wide, with a side gable roof, and is predominantly Greek Revival in its styling. In 1875 it underwent some alteration, adding the Italianate front portico and small side additions. The house remained in Damon family hands into the 1940s.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

The Ralph W. Shattuck House is a historic duplex house in Arlington, Massachusetts. The 2+1⁄2-story wood frame double house was built c. 1875, and is one of the best-preserved Italianate houses in the town. It has a heavily bracketed cornice line, a bracketed hood sheltering the two entrances, and decorative window surrounds with small brackets at the lintel. It was owned by Ralph W. Shattuck, proprietor of Shattuck Hardware, one Arlington's longest-running businesses.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

The Wayside Inn, once known as the Cutter House, is a historic house in Arlington, Massachusetts. The house was built circa 1750 in a simple Georgian style, and is the only half-house of that period still extant in Arlington. The house may have been used as stagecoach stop; it was owned in the 19th century by Philip Whittemore, who also owned a hotel nearer the center. The name "Wayside Inn" was not applied to the building until the 20th century.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

First Parish Church in Arlington, Massachusetts is a Unitarian-Universalist congregation, which was founded in 1678 as First Parish in West Cambridge. It merged with the Arlington Universalist Congregation in 1962. The Highrock Church building originally housed the Universalist church in Arlington, one of the congregations joined in 1961 with the formation of the Unitarian Universalist Association, with the Unitarian congregation at the corner of Pleasant and Massachusetts Avenue.

The Whittemore House is a historic house in Arlington, Massachusetts. The Greek Revival was built c. 1850, and is the only house in Arlington with the full temple-front treatment. It as two-story fluted Doric columns supporting a projecting gable end with a fan louver in the tympanum area. The entrance is located in the rightmost of the front facade's three bays, and is framed by sidelight and transom windows. The building's corners are pilastered, and an entablature encircles the building below the roof. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
