The Searles Castle is located in Windham, New Hampshire, in the United States. Edward Francis Searles commissioned its design and construction. Construction began in 1905 and was completed in 1915. It was intended to be a 1/4-scale replica of the medieval Tudor manor of Stanton Harcourt in Oxfordshire, England, but since most of the manor had been torn down in the 18th century, the castle bears little resemblance to the historical structure.

Aside from the amusement park, the shores of the lake are primarily lined with houses. Water from the lake flows via Policy Brook to the Spicket River and thence to the Merrimack River in Lawrence, Massachusetts. The lake is classified as a warmwater fishery, with observed species including largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, chain pickerel, brown bullhead, black crappie, rainbow trout, brook trout, bluegill, and pumpkinseed.

Cobbetts Pond is a 302-acre (1.2 km2) water body located in Rockingham County in southern New Hampshire, United States, in the town of Windham. It is approximately 2 miles (3 km) long, and the shoreline forms the shape of an 8. The average depth is 33 feet (10 m), with a maximum depth of 50 ft (15 m).Cobbetts Pond is home to many different types of lakeside homes, ranging from seasonal cottages to year-round multimillion-dollar houses. These homes are all part of the Cobbett's Pond Village District. Located on the west edge of the pond is the Windham Town Beach, which is open to the public and has an enclosed swimming area. The area is supervised by a lifeguard. During the summer months, watersport shows, boat parades, and fireworks take place. There are no posted speed limits for boats, but there is a warden that occasionally patrols the pond by boat. The winter months are less busy on the pond, since most homes are only seasonal and fit to be used in warm weather. Ice fishing and skating are common activities during the winter. Canobie Lake Park is an amusement park in Salem, New Hampshire, located about 31 miles (50 km) north of Boston. It was founded as a trolley park on the shore of Canobie Lake in 1902. Three local families currently run the park, which draws visitors from throughout the New England and Mid-Atlantic regions. Canobie Lake Park's age and history inspired author Stephen King to use rides and elements from the park in his Joyland novel. It is one of only thirteen trolley parks still operating in the United States as of 2021. The park originally featured botanical gardens, with few amusement rides. After the automobile became the most popular mode of travel in the United States, the trolley line serving the park was closed. Attendance in the park declined until it was purchased by Patrick J. Holland. He installed a wooden roller coaster named Yankee Cannonball in 1936, a ride which was designated as an ACE Roller Coaster Landmark by American Coaster Enthusiasts in 2013. The park recovered, and the Arrow Development designed Canobie Corkscrew was installed in 1987, after being relocated from the Old Chicago amusement park in Illinois, where it was named the Chicago Loop. Untamed, a Euro-Fighter coaster, is the only coaster with an inversion.

Canobie Corkscrew was a steel sit-down roller coaster located at Canobie Lake Park amusement park in Salem, New Hampshire. Canobie Corkscrew is one of many Arrow Development Corkscrew models produced between 1975 and 1979. The coaster was removed in 2021.

The Armstrong Memorial Building is a historic municipal building at 3 North Lowell Road in Windham, New Hampshire. Built in 1899, it was the town's first purpose-built library building, a role it played until 1997. It now houses the town museum. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018.

WDER AM is licensed to Derry, New Hampshire, and WDER-FM is licensed to Peterborough, New Hampshire. The stations are owned by Blount Communications, Inc. of NH and feature programming from Salem Radio Network.In 2012, Blount Communications purchased 92.1 FM, then WFEX, from Phoenix Media/Communications Group, and changed the call letters to WDER-FM, providing WDER AM with a sister station on the FM band to extend its outreach. Prior to the purchase, WFEX had served as a simulcast of WFNX (now WBWL) in Boston.

North Salem is a section of the town of Salem in Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. It occupies the northernmost portion of the town and is located at the northern end of Arlington Mill Reservoir. Although there are some shops and other businesses, it is mostly a residential area. The community is bypassed by New Hampshire Route 111, which travels northeast to Hampstead and Kingston, and southwest to Windham and Hudson. North Salem has a separate ZIP code (03073, P.O. boxes only) from other areas in the town of Salem.
