Annapolis Junction, Maryland

Savage is a passenger rail station on the MARC Camden Line between Union Station and Baltimore's Camden Station. It is officially located at 9009 Dorsey Run Road in Savage, Maryland, however Dorsey Run Road runs over the railroad tracks as well as Brock Bridge Road, which runs along the south side of the tracks and is a street-level with the station. The station straddles the line between Howard County and Anne Arundel County, with the southbound platform and parking garage located in Howard County and the northbound platform in Anne Arundel County. Savage station runs along the former Baltimore and Ohio Railroad's Capital Subdivision, which is now owned by CSX. It is also near the former Annapolis Junction which included a former Baltimore and Annapolis Railroad line.

The Rorabaugh House is historic Romanesque house located on Guilford Road in Jessup, Maryland. The structure was built by William P. Cresson in period after Howard County was split off from Anne Arundel County and slavery was still practiced. Micheal Fitzsimmons purchased the property on 5 October 1863 for $4,600. The two story L-Shaped wood-framed house sat on property subdivided down to 4.5 acres. The adjoining lots and structures created for daughters of the heirs were destroyed to create Maryland Route 32.The house was once owned by Maryland Maryland House of Delegates and politician William C. Bevan. The house was raised between 1984 and 1988.

Grassland is a historic house at Annapolis Junction, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. It was built in 1853, and is a three-part brick structure constructed in a telescoping manner. Other structures on the property were erected between 1852 and 1854 by enslaved people: the one-story frame slave house with brick-nogged walls; a small stone smokehouse; the remains of a summer kitchen; and a frame harness shed, storage shed, and the ruins of a bank barn.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.As of January 2023, the property is overgrown with weeds and tall grass. The buildings located here at this site also appear to be in total disrepair.

Russett is an unincorporated planned community of 613 acres (2.48 km2) within the Maryland City census-designated place in far-western Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States, near the city of Laurel. It is situated in a park-like setting complemented by 12 miles (19 km) of walking trails and a 70-acre (280,000 m2) lake nature preserve. Approximately 13,000 residents live in Russett, which is divided into 21 residential neighborhoods, including four condominium communities, 11 town homes, and six single-family home neighborhoods. Three apartment rental properties on four sites pay assessments to Russett, as do several on-site commercial properties. The community is built out to a capacity of 3,600 units.

The Hall of Honor is a memorial at the National Security Agency headquarters in Fort Meade, Maryland. It honors individuals who rendered distinguished service to American cryptology.

The National Cryptologic Museum (NCM) is an American museum of cryptologic history that is affiliated with the National Security Agency (NSA). The first public museum in the U.S. Intelligence Community, NCM is located in the former Colony Seven Motel, just two blocks from the NSA headquarters at Fort George G. Meade in Maryland. The motel was purchased, creating a buffer zone between the high security main buildings of the NSA and an adjacent highway. The museum opened to the public on December 16, 1993, and now hosts about 50,000 visitors annually from all over the world. The NCM is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10am–4pm (hours are extended Wednesdays to 7pm). It is closed on Sundays, Mondays, and all federal holidays, and operates on NSA's emergency/weather closure schedule (i.e. if NSA is closed, the museum is closed as well). The NCM includes a gift store whose operational hours coordinate with the museum's operational schedule (i.e., if the museum is closed altogether, opens late, or closes early, the gift shop does likewise) and an unclassified library with weekday-only operating hours that also represent the museum's weekday operational schedule. The library includes over a dozen boxes of the files of Herbert Yardley, declassified Enigma messages, technical reports, and books including how to crack the Data Encryption Standard using Deep Crack. The National Vigilance Park (NVP) was next to the museum, where three reconnaissance aircraft were displayed. A U.S. Army Beechcraft RU-8D Seminole reconnaissance plane represents the Army Airborne Signals Intelligence contribution in the Vietnam War. A Lockheed C-130 Hercules transport, modified to look like a reconnaissance-configured C-130A, memorialized a U.S. Air Force aircraft shot down over Soviet Armenia during the Cold War. Finally, the park also contained a U.S. Navy Douglas EA-3B Skywarrior, commemorating a mission in the Mediterranean on January 25, 1987, in which all seven crew members died.The NCM is open to the public, and admission is free. Donations to the NCM Foundation are accepted. Photography is allowed inside the museum but flash photography is prohibited due to the age of some of the artifacts. The museum temporarily closed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Later in 2020, new museum director Vince Houghton used the opportunity to have the museum renovated. It reopened on October 8, 2022.

Mt. Moriah Lodge No. 7, is a historic building located in Jessup, Maryland. It is a two-story lodge constructed in the late 19th century. The two-story building was constructed in a predominantly African American community along Guilford road, one of the "rolling roads" for hand-rolled barrel shipment of tobacco to market in Annapolis, Maryland. The building was constructed in conjunction with Asbury United Methodist Church built prior to 1860.The building is a wood sided two-story gable front building constructed on brick columns. The bottom floor was open for community use. The side yard has a shared cemetery for Lodge members with a mix of marked and unmarked graves. The building resides on a half acre lot provided by Cornelius and Catherine Mack for $16 in 1896. An adjoining lot to the church was set aside for a colored school, which was not built. The modern Maryland Route 32 built in the 1960s parallels Guilford Road and is considered detrimental to the historical character of the site. In a 2003 historical inventory, the building was listed as vacant and had significant roof damage from a fallen tree and the property boundaries were reduced to a quarter acre.

Brockbridge Correctional Facility was a minimum security prison operated by the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services in Jessup, Maryland. The facility closed in 2019.

Maryland Correctional Institution for Women (MCI-W) is a multi-level security prison operated by the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services in Jessup, Maryland.

Asbury Methodist Episcopal Church, is a historic African American Church located in Jessup, Maryland. The building was constructed in a predominantly African American community along Guilford Road, one of the "rolling roads" for hand-rolled barrel shipment of tobacco to market in Annapolis, Maryland. The site is associated with religious activities since 1860, in the final years of slavery in the newly formed Howard County. The wood-frame church has a later structure adjoined to serve as a schoolhouse. The church cemetery is situated to the North and West of the church. The graveyard boundaries were not formally defined, with several unmarked gravemounds surrounding the site. There are ten historical sites registered in the Maryland Historical Site Registry along the historical road within a mile of the church, but a reviewer commented there are "none along this segment of the road". The adjacent historic residences under pressure from development have had their construction dates removed from state tax records. The church has been reviewed and certified as being a significant example of architecture, ethnic history and religion. The Mt. Moriah Lodge No. 7 was built adjacent to the church in 1875.

The United States National Vigilance Park (NVP) was a memorial to the military servicemen who participated in aerial reconnaissance during the Cold War. Dedicated on September 2, 1997, NVP was located just one block from the National Security Agency (NSA) headquarters at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland. It was previously open 24 hours a day for viewing. Military events connected with the Intelligence Community and/or personnel stationed at Ft. Meade or working at NSA were formerly scheduled through the National Cryptologic Museum (NCM), which is just one block west of the former park.When NVP was open to the public, admission was free. Donations to the NCM Foundation are still accepted for potential reopening of the park. Photographing the planes and the memorial plaques, decor, and grounds was allowed when they were on site; however, pictures of the adjacent NSA buildings were not permitted due to security concerns.
