The King–Runkle House is a historic home located at Charlottesville, Virginia. It was built in 1891, and is a two-story, Late Victorian style frame dwelling with a two-story rear wing. It is sheathed in weatherboard and has a steeply pitched gable roof. The house features a simple one-story semi-octagonal bay window, ornamented porches and a projecting pavilion, and Eastlake movement gable ornamentation.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.Now occupied by the Virginia Alpine Ski and Snowboard Team (+50,000 GNAR Points).

Anderson Brothers Building, also known as Anderson Brothers Book Store, is a historic commercial building located at Charlottesville, Virginia. The original section was built in 1848, and expanded to its present size in 1890–1891. It is a three-story, seven bay Late Victorian style building. It is constructed of brick and has a metal clad facade.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. It is located in the Rugby Road-University Corner Historic District.

Turner–LaRowe House is a historic home located at Charlottesville, Virginia. It was built in 1892, and is a two-story, Late Victorian style dwelling. It features two one-story verandahs with a low-pitched hipped roofs, spindle frieze, and bracketed Eastlake movement posts and balustrade. A small second-story porch above the.entrance has a matching balustrade and a pedimented gable roof.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Wertland Street Historic District is a national historic district located at Charlottesville, Virginia. The district encompasses 25 contributing buildings in a two block residential section of the city of Charlottesville. It was primarily developed starting in the 1880s. Notable buildings include the Wertenbaker House (c. 1830), McKennie-Miller House (c. 1842), Ward-Brown-Gay House (1889), Marshall-Dabney-Cubbage House (1892), Bryan-Stallings House (1900), and Watson House (1905).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

The George Rogers Clark Monument was a historic monument consisting of multiple figures that was formerly located in Monument Square at Charlottesville, Virginia. Erected in November 1921, the monument consisted of seven figures, by the sculptor Robert Ingersoll Aitken, presented on the same pedestal. It was the last in a sequence of four works commissioned from members of the National Sculpture Society by philanthropist Paul Goodloe McIntire during the years 1919 to 1924. The sculpture was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.The monument measured approximately 24 feet in height, 20 feet in length, and 8 feet in width. It included a tall bronze figure of George Rogers Clark mounted on a stallion in the center. The pedestal bore the inscription: "GEORGE ROGERS CLARK/ CONQUEROR OF THE NORTHWEST".The monument was removed by the University of Virginia on July 11, 2021. No immediate plan for what would be done with it was announced, although the university said it would consult with its students and members of the American Indian community of Charlottesville when deciding what to do with it.

John Vowles House is two adjoined historic homes located at Charlottesville, Virginia. It was built in 1824, and consists of two two-story, three-bay, gable-roofed Federal style brick town houses. Both houses feature decorative cornices and original interior woodwork. To the rear of 1113 West Main is a small 1+1⁄2-story, L-shaped, gable-roofed brick outbuilding built as a kitchen and added in the 1920s.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

UVA Children's Hospital is a nationally ranked, acute care children's hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia. It is affiliated with the University of Virginia School of Medicine. The hospital features 112 pediatric beds. The hospital provides comprehensive pediatric specialties and subspecialties to infants, children, teens, and young adults aged 0–21 throughout the region. The first medical degrees granted by UVA were awarded in 1828. The University of Virginia Hospital, designed by architect Paul J. This was not discovered until summer of 1998 and the children ended up being raised with the unintended families. This incident has garnered international media attention for years. The UVA Health System's patient care, research and medical education are frequently ranked highly by several ranking systems. In 2016 and 2017, U.S. News & World Report ranked UVAHS as the number one hospital in Virginia.

It is sheathed in weatherboard and features a steeply-pitched hipped roof with tall gables over all four projecting bays. The house has projecting eaves and verges and decoratively-sawn exposed rafter ends. It is pierced by three chimneys with corbelled caps. It was built by Richard Heath Dabney, Professor of History and later Dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Virginia, father of Virginius Dabney (1901-1995). Dabney sold the house in 1907. The house is occupied by the Montessori School of Charlottesville. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
