The James Steel House is a historic home located at Newark, New Castle County, Delaware. The original section, a two-story, two-bay, double-pile, stuccoed brick structure, is dated to the late 18th century. It was doubled in size about 1882, with the facade addition of a two-story, two-bay, frame wing. It features a two-story bay window on the endwall, a pointed-arch attic window, and German siding. The main block has had a series of rear additions during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, creating an overall T-plan.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Bell Farmhouse is a historic home located at Newark in New Castle County, Delaware. The farmhouse was built about 1845 and is a two-story, gable-roofed brick building with an original two-story ell in the rear. It features a massive Doric columned wrap-around porch. Also on the property is a smokehouse, carriage house, and shed.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Head of Christiana Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church and cemetery at 1100 Church Road in Newark, Delaware. It was built in 1859 and is a one-story, four bay gable roofed brick building. Adjacent to the church is a four and a half acre church cemetery with burials dating back to the mid-18th century. The church congregation was established in 1708 by Scotch-Irish immigrants.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The Stuart Randall and Priscilla Kellogg Carswell House is a historic house in Newark, Delaware. Built in 1948, it is an unusual example of International style architecture in Delaware. The house was built by Stuart Carswell (1891–1949) and his wife Priscilla (1907–1991). Carswell, a Delaware native, was a career Army officer who fought in France during World War I. After seeing plans for an International style house in a 1936 issue of Collier's, the Carswells eventually decided they wanted to build a similar house for themselves. They commissioned an updated set of plans from Edward Durell Stone, the architect responsible for the design featured in Collier's, after Carswell's retirement from the military at the end of World War II. The house was completed in December 1948. Stuart Carswell died just six months later, and his widow sold the house in 1956.Starting in 1999, the Carswell House was restored to its original appearance by its owners, both professors at the University of Delaware. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011 and the restoration project was completed the following year.

Blue Hen Farm is a historic home located at Newark in New Castle County, Delaware. It is a stuccoed three story, six bay building built in four phases. The earliest part of the structure dates to the mid-19th century.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Granite Mansion was a historic home located at Newark in New Castle County, Delaware. It was built in 1844, and was a three-story, three-bay, cubic stuccoed stone building with a flat roof in the Greek Revival style. It had a rear kitchen wing. The house was renovated in 1924 in the Neoclassical style, to add a two-tiered Corinthian porch on the east elevation and a Doric Porte-Cochere on the west elevation. Also on the property were a small stuccoed spring house and one-and-a-half-story frame and stucco building dated to 1924. The house has been demolished and the property occupied by the First Presbyterian Church of Newark. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Samuel Lindsey House is a historic home located at McClellandville, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built in the 1870s, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, Second Empire style brick dwelling with a mansard roof. It has a five bay front facade and an original two story, brick wing extending from the rear elevation. Built as a single dwelling, it has been converted into apartments at one time, and also used as a school.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

It features a porch on three sides supported by Doric order columns. The building was renovated in 1911 in the Classical Revival style. It was built as a private dwelling, In 1950, the University of Delaware purchased the building as a home for its president. It was later used as a dormitory for honor students.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Curtis Mansion is a historic home located at Newark in New Castle County, Delaware. It was built in 1903 and is a 2+1⁄2 story, rectangular stone residence in the Richardsonian Romanesque style. It has a five-bay facade, cross-gable roof, and northeast corner tower. The house features a wrap-around porch with Doric order column posts. It was built by Alfred A. Curtis, one of the three sons of F. D. Curtis, owner and operator of the Curtis Paper Mill. The house was purchased by the University of Delaware and initially served as a dormitory for French students. It was subsequently acquired in 1992 by the English Language Institute of the University of Delaware. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Baily House is a historic home located at Newark in New Castle County, Delaware. It was built about 1835 and is a 2+1⁄2-story "L"-shaped frame dwelling with a three-bay front facade. It was probably constructed as a single-family dwelling that may have been formerly connected to a row of matching houses. Some believe that it was moved from Baltimore to Newark in the mid-19th century. It was the residence of Harriet Baily, who headed the Art Department of the University of Delaware from 1928 until 1956.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Wesley Methodist Episcopal Church is a historic Methodist Episcopal church located at McClellandville, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built in 1854, and is a frame, one story, one bay by three bay, gable-roofed Greek Revival-style building. It was sheathed in weatherboard and featured decorative wood shingles on the facade and corner pilasters.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
