Chandler is a city in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States, and a suburb in the Phoenix-Mesa-Chandler Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). It is bordered to the north and west by Tempe, to the north by Mesa, to the west by Phoenix, to the south by the Gila River Indian Community, and to the east by Gilbert. As of the 2020 census, the population of Chandler was 279,458, up from 236,123 at the 2010 census.

Chandler Center for the Arts (CCA), is located in Chandler, Arizona and is jointly owned by the City of Chandler and the Chandler Unified School District. The Chandler Center for the Arts functions dually as the home theater for Chandler High School and the arts center for the City of Chandler. Two of items on display are listed in the National Register of Historic Places, they are the "Southern Pacific Railroad Locomotive No. SP 2562" and "Tender No. 8365" and the "Railroad Steam Wrecking Crane and Tool Car".

The school was founded in 2001 by Damian Creamer and was made possible by a program established by the Arizona Legislature in 1998.
