Nadderud

Egne hjem was an Oslo Metro and Oslo Tramway station on the Kolsås Line located in Bærum, Norway. The station was situated between Ringstabekk and Bekkestua, 10.8 kilometres (6.7 mi) from Stortinget. The station was opened on 3 November 1924. In 2006, it was the least busy station on the Kolsås Line and was located only 300 metres (980 ft) from Ringstabekk and 450 metres (1,480 ft) from Bekkestua. Owing to the low number of passengers and poor location, the station was not reopened following the upgrade of the Kolsås Line.

Bekkestua is a town in the municipality of Bærum, Norway, with a busy bus terminal and a station on one of Oslo's westbound T-bane lines, Kolsåsbanen. It also has its own library, police station and fire station. It has grown to be the second largest centre of the municipality after Sandvika, with small restaurants and shopping centres. Nadderud stadion (stadium), the home ground of the Stabæk Fotball association football club is at walking distance from Bekkestua. It was opened in 1961 as a sporting ground for the Nadderud Gymnas (High School). This high school was later demolished to give space to an extended stadium. The Oslo International School, often referred to as the British Primary School in the Oslo area, is located next to Nadderud stadion.

Ringstabekk is a district in Bærum, Norway. Named after the local farm, the district is also known for its schools and the sports field. The sports club Stabæk IF originates in the area.

Ringstabekk was a station on the Kolsås Line (line 2) on the Oslo Metro system and the Oslo Tramway system. It was located in Bærum, between Bekkestua and Tjernsrud stations, 10.5 km west of Stortinget. The station was opened on 1 July 1924 as part of the tramway, Bærum Line.Along with most of the line, Ringstabekk was closed for upgrades since 1 July 2006 and its service temporarily provided by tram line 13, as an extension of the service from Jar to Bekkestua. Ringstabekk was never reopened; instead it was torn down in early 2009, and replaced with the New Ringstabekk Station.

Bekkestua is a station and tram stop that is served both by Oslo Metro on Kolsås Line and Oslo Tramway on Lilleaker Line situated at Bekkestua in Bærum, Norway. It is the terminus of the Lilleaker Line for tramway. Located between Ringstabekk and Gjønnes, it was reopened on 15 August 2011 after being closed on 1 July 2006. Between 1 July 2003 and November 2004, Bekkestua was the end station on the Kolsås Line. For a while the station was only being served by the Oslo Tramway line 13, while the station was closed for an upgrade. Since 2 December 2007, tram operations (on line 13) have returned on this line from Lilleaker to Bekkestua. Operations beyond Lilleaker use SL95 trams as there is no turnback loop at Bekkestua. The tram operations were discontinued in 2009, but reopened in January 2014 after technical difficulties delayed the opening by one month. Bekkestua bus terminal is only a minute's walk from the metro and tram platforms (1, 2, 3).

The Bekkestua Tunnel (Norwegian: Bekkestuatunnelen) is a road tunnel that runs under Bekkestua in Bærum, Norway. It forms a part of the Norwegian National Road 160, starts northeast of Bekkestua to ease this population and commercial centre of heavy traffic, and emerges in the southwest near Gjønnes Station. It was opened in 1994, and was financed by the Oslo Package 1.

Ringstabekk is a station on the Kolsås Line (line 2) on the Oslo Metro system. Located in Bærum, Norway, it is between Bekkestua and Jar, 10.2 km west of Stortinget. The station opened on 15 August 2011 and replaces the former station with the same name and Tjernsrud as part of the upgrade of the Kolsås Line to metro standard.The station is located at the section of the line where it is shared with the Lilleaker Line used by the Oslo Tramway. However, due to lack of dedicated low-height platforms, trams do not stop at this station.

Skallum is an area at Stabekk in Bærum, Norway. It was named after the historic estate Skallum (Skallum Gård). It is known locally for its art gallery and as a recreational area, and nationally as the site of an event in the closing days of World War II in Europe.

The Bærum Waldorf School (Norwegian: Steinerskolen i Bærum, lit. "The Steiner School in Bærum") is a private school in the Norwegian municipality of Bærum, a suburb west of Oslo. It is located in the borough of Jar, occupying the former agricultural property Grav. Hence, it is unofficially also referred to as Grav or the Grav Waldorf School (Steinerskolen på Grav). The school was established in August 1971, and is both an elementary and a secondary school, leading to the student exam. It was the second waldorf school to be established in the Oslo area (there are also three waldorf schools in Oslo and four other waldorf schools in Akershus.) The school has been attended by, among others, Maud Angelica Behn.
