Swissôtel Tallinn

Tornimäe Building Complex is a two-building complex skyscraper in Tallinn, Estonia.One building is designed for the hotel (Swissôtel Tallinn) and the other part is built for the apartments. The apartment building has 181 apartments. The height of the hotel is 117 m and the height of the apartment building is some centimetres shorter.The complex was built from 2004 to 2007. The complex was designed by Meeli Truu.

Church of St. John's almshouse (Estonian: Tallinna Jaani seegi kirik) is a wooden church in Tallinn, Estonia. Since 1999 the building is designated as "architectural monument".Nowadays, the church is used by a congregation belonging to Armenian Apostolic Church.The building's history dates back to the beginning of 13th century. Originally the building was a stone church and the building was named as John's hospidal (Estonian: Jaani hospidal), later it was named to John's almshouse church (Estonian: Jaani seegi kirik). Historically, the building was also used as a leprosarium. In 1813 the hospidal was officially named to almshouse (Estonian: vaestemaja).

Duo 5 (formerly known as Kanal 12 (literal English translation Channel 12)) is an Estonian TV channel. It is owned by the Kanal 2 company.

Duo 4 (formerly known as Kanal 11 (literal English translation Channel 11)) is a Estonian TV channel owned by Duo Media Networks. The name of the channel is derived from a play on words; in the Estonian language, "Üksteist", the word for eleven, also means "each other". This means that the channel can promote itself using sentences such as "We love 11".

Kanal 2 is a privately owned Estonian television channel. Its literal name in English is "Channel 2". The channel was established by Ilmar Taska. The channel began broadcasting on 1 October 1993.

Maakri Kvartal is a skyscraper in Estonia. It is located in the Maakri district of Estonia's capital, Tallinn.

Maakri is a subdistrict (Estonian: asum) in the district of Kesklinn (Midtown), Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. It has a population of 979 (As of 1 January 2014). In the last decade Maakri has developed into the main business centre of Tallinn. Many high-rise buildings have been built into the area during this period.

Härjapea (Estonian: Härjapea jõgi, lit. oxhead) was a river in Tallinn, Estonia. The river was a few kilometres in length, flowing from Lake Ülemiste into the Tallinn Bay. Härjapea was one of the most exploited rivers in Estonia in the Middle Ages. First, watermills were constructed in the 13th century. A map from the end of the 17th century depicts eight mills on the river, some of which later became the basis for larger industries. Due to the growth of industry in the 19th century, the river became increasingly polluted and was then already partly covered. In 1923 it was covered with planks and in 1938 the construction of an underground sewage pipe was completed in place of the river, which was around 4.5 km in length at the time. Nowadays the course of the river is recognizable in some places, otherwise little else remains of it. The underground sewage channel is still operational.

Skyon is a 26-story and 95-metre (312 ft) office building in Tallinn, Estonia. Located in the Maakri district and opened in 2021, it serves as the headquarters for Coop Pank.The facade of the building consists of 898 triangular and colourful glass panels, between which a total of nearly 4.5 kilometres of LED light strips have been installed.In 2022, Skyon was awarded the internationally recognised LEED Platinum certificate.

Kompassi (Estonian for "Compass") is a subdistrict (asum) in the district of Kesklinn (Midtown), Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. It has a population of 2,066 (As of 1 January 2014).The Estonian Firefighting Museum is located in Kompassi inside a former fire department on Raua street.

Church of Our Lady of Kazan (Tallinn) (Estonian: Tallinna Kaasani kirik) is a Russian Orthodox church in Tallinn, Estonia. The church building is the oldest wooden structure in Tallinn.The church was built in 1721. At the moment of erecting, this church was the first church in Estonia completed after Great Northern War.In the 19th century, big reconstruction works took place. After the works, the church has a neoclassical facade and interior.Next to the church is located Church of Our Lady of Kazan's poplar (Estonian: Kaasani kiriku pappel). This poplar is the oldest and thickest poplar in Estonia.
