The population recorded was 12,766. The census area dissolved in 1970, however the census area became part of Cheektowaga CDP in 1980, when the CDP recorded a population of 92,145. The Buffalo Fire Historical Museum is located in Buffalo, New York at William and North Ogden Streets. Established and staffed by retired members of the Buffalo Fire Department, the museum seeks to preserve the history of the BFD since its inception in the mid-to-late 19th century. Exhibits include photos of historic Buffalo Fire apparatus, several pieces of apparatus including an Ahrens-Fox pumper, and a horse-drawn steamer.Also included are pictures, accounts, and artifacts from the December 27, 1983 North Division Street explosion that killed five firefighters, two civilians, destroyed about a million in fire equipment, and leveled several city blocks, as well as the infamous fire alarm box # 29 also known as the Hoodoo Box. It was so called because whenever this particular box, located at Seneca and Wells streets in Buffalo, New York was used, the call would usually end up tragic for the Buffalo Fire Department.

It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo.Launched in the fall of 2014 by Michael P. McKeating, the school is modeled on the original Chesterton Academy in Edina, Minnesota and is centered on G. K. Chesterton’s ideas of integrated learning.Beginning in the 2015–16 school year, Chesterton Academy moved from its former location into the premises of Fourteen Holy Helpers R.C. Church in West Seneca. In 2020 it moved to the current site on Genesee Street in Lancaster, New York.

Engine House No. 28 is a historic fire station building located at Buffalo in Erie County, New York. It is a Queen Anne style structure built in 1897.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

Sts. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, also known as Sts. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, is a historic church complex and national historic district located in the Lovejoy neighborhood of Buffalo, Erie County, New York. The complex was built between 1912 and 1965, and consists of the yellow brick Byzantine Revival style, roughly 2-story church (designed in 1932 by architect Joseph E. Fronczak), a 1-story parish hall (designed in 1964 by Robert Zinter), a 2-story frame house that serves as a rectory (c. 1912), and a frame garage (c. 1912). The church has a cross-in-square type plan, and the front facade features two 3-story towers. It is the oldest Orthodox church in Buffalo and oldest in use in the Orthodox Diocese of New York and New Jersey.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

Forks is a hamlet in the town of Cheektowaga in Erie County, New York, United States. surrounded by George Urban Blvd, Dick Rd, Union Rd and Broadway St.Forks is the site of what was once one of the largest coal trestles in the United States, over half a mile long, which was built in the 1880s and burned in the 1920s.The Forks Hotel on Broadway St. was built in 1853 along the new Attica & Buffalo Railroad. The building served variously as a hotel, railroad station, post office and bar. In 1958 it was purchased by local magician Eddie Fechter, who operated it as a venue for magic shows. Fechter died in the late 1970s, and the hotel was sold, but continued to hold magic shows. The building was damaged by fire in 1998 and demolished in 2003.
