Kwun Tong

Yue Man Square (Chinese: 裕民坊; Cantonese Yale: yúh màhn fōng; pinyin: Yùmín Fáng) is the town centre of Kwun Tong in Kowloon of Hong Kong. It is also the commercial centre in the area.

Kwun Tong is one of the 18 districts of Hong Kong. It is located in Kowloon, and is the easternmost and southernmost district in Kowloon. It had a population of 648,541 in 2016. The district has the second highest population in Hong Kong, after Sha Tin District, while the income is below average. Kwun Tong District borders Sai Kung District to the east, Wong Tai Sin District to the north, and Kowloon City District to the west. To the south is Victoria Harbour, and the Eastern District directly across on Hong Kong Island. It is the most densely populated district in Hong Kong, at 55,000 per km², but it is also one of the largest industrial areas in Hong Kong. Kwun Tong District is known for its industry, with factories built during the 1950s; they were mainly located in Kowloon Bay, Kwun Tong, and Yau Tong. Since the relocation of the manufacturing industry, Kwun Tong district has seen a rise of commercial buildings, such as APM Millennium City 5. Kwun Tong is served by six stations on the Kwun Tong line: Yau Tong (also on the Tseung Kwan O line), Lam Tin, Kwun Tong, Ngau Tau Kok and Kowloon Bay. Pollution, poverty and ageing population remain concerns for the district. According to a statistical figures of 2001, the proportion of poor and elderly people in this district is 22.6% and 15.5% respectively. Furthermore, the number of poor people living in this district is 124,803, which is the highest in Hong Kong.

Delia Memorial School (Yuet Wah) is a secondary school founded in 1975 located in Kwun Tong District, Hong Kong.

apm is a large shopping mall in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong, which opened in July 2005. It is located within Millennium City 5, a commercial property developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties. Together with Millennium Cities 1, 2, 3, and 6, they are a group of commercial properties situated along Kwun Tong Road. apm is located next to the Kwun Tong station, with ten storeys and a total retail area of 600,000 square feet (56,000 m2). Underground hourly parking is also available.

Wo Lok Estate (Chinese: 和樂邨) is a public housing estate in Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It is the oldest existing public housing estate in Kwun Tong District, and the first public housing estate with seven-storey blocks. It comprises 11 blocks of buildings of Old Slab type built from 1962 to 1966. It was developed into 2 phases. Phase 1 included 8 seven-storey blocks built in 1962 and 1963, while Phase 2 included 3 blocks built in 1965 and 1966.

Kwun Tong (Chinese: 觀塘; Cantonese Yale: Gūntòng) is a station on the MTR Kwun Tong line in Hong Kong. The station was opened on 1 October 1979 as the eastern terminus of the first phase of the MTR network, called the "Modified Initial System", until the Eastern Harbour Crossing to Quarry Bay opened on 6 August 1989. It is located in the Kwun Tong area, between Lam Tin and Ngau Tau Kok stations. The station is elevated and open-air, unlike almost every other station on the line. Only Ngau Tau Kok and Kowloon Bay stations are like this. Due to difficulties in installing platform screen doors (PSDs) in above ground stations, the MTR decided not to install PSDs in this station, instead installing automatic platform gates (APGs) on the station's platforms in 2011. It is located far away from most residential areas, causing many residents of Kwun Tong to take other means of transport in order to reach the station. There is a shopping centre and office tower, named apm Millennium City 5, connected to the station. Beneath the station building is a road tunnel which diverts traffic along Kwun Tong Road from the roundabout around the station.

Delia Memorial School (Hip Wo No. 2 College) (Chinese: 地利亞修女紀念學校（協和二中）) commenced its service in 1984, operating under the management of Delia Group of Schools. It joined the government Direct Subsidy Scheme in September 2000 and became a non-profitable organization located at Kwun Tong, Hong Kong. It is a full-time coeducational grammar school offering S1 – S6 curricula and recommending qualified candidates to sit the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination.

Kwun Tong Kung Lok Government Secondary School (Chinese: 觀塘功樂官立中學; often abbreviated as KTKLGSS) is a secondary boys' school founded in 1970. It is located at 90 Kung Lok Road, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong, and occupies an area of 86,080 square feet (7,997 m2).

Millennium City (Chinese: 創紀之城; Jyutping: cong1 gei2 zi1 seng4) is a group of skyscrapers in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong built along the southern side of Kwun Tong Road near Ngau Tau Kok station and developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties.The Millennium City project currently consists of five buildings, numbered 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6. The number 4 is widely regarded as unlucky in many parts of Asia and in both Chinese and Japanese it is a homophone for "death".Millennium City 1 and 2 are connected and share a mall and a lobby on their ground floor. They host the headquarters of Standard Chartered Bank, a data centre and various other offices. Their reflective blue glass walls look strikingly modern against the areas other, old factory buildings. The two buildings are located opposite to Ngau Tau Kok station. Millennium City 3 is a continuation of buildings 1 and 2, but separated from towers 1 and 2 by the Meyer Building. It is also mostly offices and has a similar architectural design to buildings 1 and 2. However, glass walls are used to a lesser extent and more white tiles are incorporated.Millennium City 5 is built near Kwun Tong station. The building is well known because of the shopping mall it holds - apm. The project has a site area of 107,000 square feet (9,900 m2) and contains over 700,000 square feet (65,000 m2) of office space on top of a regional shopping centre of about 600,000 square feet (56,000 m2). The Bank of East Asia bought the majority of office space here as a back-up operation centre.Millennium City 6 and 7 are under planning, and both will be built in the Kwun Tong Industrial Area, farther from Kwun Tong Road.Millennium City 8 is currently under construction. It is on the site of the former KMB Bus Kwun Tong depot. There are two buildings with total floor area of 1.15m sq ft and the shopping mall occupies 12 floors with another 21 floors of offices and 4 floors of underground car parks. The development will be completed in 2022-23.

Accutone Technologies Limited is a manufacturer and marketer of telephone headsets for call centers, and premium-grade consumer audio headphones for smartphones and music-playing devices. A UK brand with headquarters in Spain, Mexico, Hong Kong, and manufacturing facilities in China, Accutone also builds ODM headsets for UK telecom companies, as well as telco in S.America and US. Its mother company started out manufacturing loudspeakers in 1969, Accutone has been in the field of electro-acoustics for more than 45 years. Aside from being one of the big four business headset brand globally, Accutone has begun building a wide range of pro-grade audio headphones for consumers since 2011.

Sau Mau Ping Memorial Park (Chinese: 秀茂坪紀念公園) is a park located in Sau Mau Ping, Kwun Tong District, Kowloon, Hong Kong. The park was built on the hillside between Tsui Ping Road, Hiu Kwong Street and Hiu Ming Street, in memorial to the deceased of the disastrous flooding on 18 June 1972 (also known as June 18th flooding, in Chinese: 六一八水災), which took 71 lives when the hill slope adjacent to the park failed.

Hong Ning Road Park (Chinese: 康寧道公園) is a public park between the districts of Ngau Tau Kok and Sau Mau Ping in Kowloon, Hong Kong. It is divided into two phases linked by a staircase. The park is distinct from the similarly-named Hong Ning Road Recreation Ground, which is located down the hill closer to Kwun Tong Town Centre.
