Kirkkonummi railway station (Finnish: Kirkkonummen rautatieasema, Swedish: Kyrkslätts järnvägsstation) is a railway station in the municipality of Kirkkonummi, Finland, between Siuntio railway station and Tolsa railway station. Kirkkonummi railway station serves as the terminus for the U and most L trains of the Helsinki commuter rail system and is also served by Y, X and L trains to Siuntio. Most of the long-distance trains between Helsinki and Turku used to stop at Kirkkonummi station until 2016. Nowadays only some few long-distance services make a stop at Kirkkonummi. The station has also three VR bus departures to Karis via Ingå on weekdays.

St. Michael's Church in Kirkkonummi is a gothic, medieval stone church in the Finnish municipality of Kirkkonummi. The church was built somewhere between 1400 and 1490. The original medieval brick walls are still to be seen in the eastern part of the church.Kirkkonummi Church is consecrated to St. Michael. The church is shared by the Swedish-speaking parish of Kirkkonummi (Swedish: Kyrkslätts svenska församling) and the Finnish-speaking parish of Kirkkonummi (Finnish: Kirkkonummen suomenkielinen seurakunta).Originally the church was Roman Catholic but after the Reformation it was converted to Lutheranism.

Tolsa railway station (Finnish: Tolsan rautatieasema, Swedish: Tolls hållplats) is a railway halt on the Helsinki commuter rail network located in the town of Kirkkonummi, Finland, between the Jorvas and Kirkkonummi stations. The station is served by Helsinki commuter rail lines U and L. The westbound trains to Kirkkonummi stop at track 1 and the eastbound trains to Helsinki use the track 2. Some trains to Kirkkonummi, however, use the track 2, if they are meant to arrive on tracks 2 or 3 at the Kirkkonummi station.

Kantvik is a village in Kirkkonummi municipality in Uusimaa, Finland. It is located about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) south of the municipal center towards Upinniemi. Nearby services include a primary school and a Sale grocery store. There is a bus connection from Kantvik to the center of Kirkkonummi, such as lines 172, 173 and 904.There is industry in Kantvik, such as the Suomen Sokeri sugar factory, and Mildola, which manufactures vegetable oil products. Kantvik has also two harbour areas, one of which, with an area of about five hectares, the Port of Helsinki manages.

Jorvas railway station is a railway halt on the Helsinki Commuter Rail network located in the town of Kirkkonummi, Finland, between the Masala and Tolsa stations. The station is served by Helsinki Commuter Rail lines L, U and X. The train station has two staggered platforms. Westbound trains to Kirkkonummi use track one, while eastbound trains to Helsinki use track two.

Porkkala Naval Base was a Soviet naval base operational from 1944–1956 in the municipalities of Kirkkonummi, Ingå and Siuntio on the Porkkala peninsula, 30 kilometers (19 mi) west of Helsinki, Finland. The area was leased to the Soviet Union according to the 1944 signed Moscow Armistice between Finland, the Soviet Union, and the United Kingdom. The area was returned to Finland in 1956. In the 21st century, it is the site of the Finnish naval base Upinniemi.

Masala (Swedish: Masaby) is a village of 5,855 inhabitants in Kirkkonummi municipality. It is located in the western Uusimaa region, in southern Finland, just outside the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. Masala railway station, a station on the Helsinki commuter rail network is located in Masala. The Finnish Geodetic Institute also is located there.

Hvitträsk is a mansion complex in Kirkkonummi, Finland, about 30 kilometers (19 mi) west of Helsinki. It was designed as a studio home by the members of the Finnish architecture firm Gesellius, Lindgren, Saarinen, later becoming the private residence of Eliel Saarinen. It currently operates as a museum.

The Metsähovi Radio Observatory is an astronomical observatory in Finland, affiliated with the Aalto University. Its main premises are in Metsähovi, Kirkkonummi, 35 kilometers west of the university's Otaniemi campus. The observatory currently operates a 13.7 metres (45 ft) diameter radio telescope, and has an array of four 5.5 metres (18 ft) dishes to serve as a compact interferometer called the 'Metsähovi Compact Array', as well as several smaller radio telescopes and instruments. The observatory is staffed by some 20 researchers, engineers, and students, mostly from Aalto University and the Finnish Centre for Astronomy with the ESO. The observatory has been operational since 1974 and active in the fields of: Fundamental research in radio astronomy Development of instruments needed in radio astronomy Development of methods for radio astronomical measurements Applied scientific computing Space research Education The current research focuses on variable quasars, active galaxies, solar observations, and very long baseline interferometry. Metsähovi is as a member of the European VLBI Network. The observatory observed the near-total Solar eclipse of March 20, 2015 at 11.2 and 37 GHz.

Masala railway station (Finnish: Masalan rautatieasema, Swedish: Masaby järnvägsstation) is a station on the Helsinki commuter rail network located in the Masala district of Kirkkonummi, Finland, between the Kauklahti and Jorvas stations. The station is served by Helsinki commuter rail lines Y, U and L. Westbound trains towards Kirkkonummi and Siuntio use track one, while eastbound trains to Helsinki use track two. The station underwent a significant renovation in 2005. The old station building, built in 1963, was destroyed in a fire on January 14, 2011.The Masala station has high platforms and platform displays. There is an announcement system at the station. The station has 140 free-of-charge bicycle parking places and 80 free-of-charge car parking places. There is a taxi station and bus stop near the station.

Upinniemi (Swedish: Obbnäs) is a village in the municipality of Kirkkonummi in southern Finland. It is located approximately 12 km south of the municipal centre.Upinniemi is dominated by the Finnish naval base, which is one of the largest military installations in the country. The headquarters of the Gulf of Finland Naval Command is also located there. Beginning late in World War II, from 1944 to 1956, the Soviet Union operated the Porkkala Naval Base in this area, under a lease with Finland.

Evitskog is a village of approximately 600 inhabitants in Kirkkonummi municipality. It is situated in western Uusimaa region, southern Finland, just outside the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. Distance to Helsinki is 30 km, and to Kirkkonummi town center 15 km. Nearest shops and local services are in Lapinkylä, roughly 6 km away. The voluntary fire brigade, Evitskog FBK, was founded 1931, and it is the oldest voluntary fire brigade in Kirkkonummi. The red fire brigade building is the landmark for Evitskog. In 1970s the trade union TVK built a course center for its members in Evitskog. The building was later changed to housing unit for foreign guest workers especially from Estonia. In August 2015 an asylum seekers' centre moved to the location. It provides accommodation for 260 people.Singer-songwriter Paradise Oskar is from Evitskog.
