Pickala Manor (Finnish: Pikkalan kartano, Swedish: Pickala gård) is a historical manor house in Siuntio in Finland. The current main building was built in 1850 according to architect A. F. Granstedt's blueprints. Pickala Manor is owned privately and funktions as a private home. The historical manor house together with the surrounding land area builds a Significant Built Cultural Environment of State Interest and therefore the area is protected by law. Protection of the area is monitored by the Finnish Heritage Agency.Pickala Manor has also acted as a set for two Finnish movies, The Snow Queen (Finnish: Lumikuningatar) and Onnelliset leikit.

Evitskog is a village of approximately 600 inhabitants in Kirkkonummi municipality. It is situated in western Uusimaa region, southern Finland, just outside the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. Distance to Helsinki is 30 km, and to Kirkkonummi town center 15 km. Nearest shops and local services are in Lapinkylä, roughly 6 km away. The voluntary fire brigade, Evitskog FBK, was founded 1931, and it is the oldest voluntary fire brigade in Kirkkonummi. The red fire brigade building is the landmark for Evitskog. In 1970s the trade union TVK built a course center for its members in Evitskog. The building was later changed to housing unit for foreign guest workers especially from Estonia. In August 2015 an asylum seekers' centre moved to the location. It provides accommodation for 260 people.Singer-songwriter Paradise Oskar is from Evitskog.

Kantvik is a village in Kirkkonummi municipality in Uusimaa, Finland. It is located about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) south of the municipal center towards Upinniemi. Nearby services include a primary school and a Sale grocery store. There is a bus connection from Kantvik to the center of Kirkkonummi, such as lines 172, 173 and 904.There is industry in Kantvik, such as the Suomen Sokeri sugar factory, and Mildola, which manufactures vegetable oil products. Kantvik has also two harbour areas, one of which, with an area of about five hectares, the Port of Helsinki manages.

Sjundby Manor (Finnish: Sjundbyn kartano, Swedish: Sjundby slott) is a manor house in Siuntio in Finland. The history of the manor is known from the year 1417.During the 1560s king Gustav I of Sweden's master of horses, Jakob Henriksson, built the main building out of gray stone that we see today. Sjundby Manor has been owned by many noble families throughout its history. The most well-known owner of the estate was princess Sigrid of Sweden, the daughter of Eric XIV of Sweden and Karin Månsdotter. The noble family of Adlercreutz has owned Sjundby Manor continuously since the 17th century. The ownership was only briefly disrupted by the lease of Porkkala Naval Base area to the Soviet Union after the Second World War. After the Soviet occupation the main building had to undergo a massive renovation.Nowadays Sjundby Manor serves as a private home. It is one of the oldest inhabited buildings in Finland.

Störsvik is a village located in the southern part of Siuntio municipality, about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) south of the Siuntio Station Area. It has a population of about 268 (2017).

Kirkkonummi (Finnish pronunciation: [ˈkirkːoˌnumːi]; Swedish: Kyrkslätt, Finland Swedish: [ˈtɕyrːkslet] , Sweden Swedish: [ˈɕʏ̂rːkslɛt]) is a municipality of 41,160 inhabitants (31 December 2023) in southern Finland. The literal meaning of the words "Kirkkonummi" and "Kyrkslätt" in English is "church heath".

Kirkkonummi railway station (Finnish: Kirkkonummen rautatieasema, Swedish: Kyrkslätts järnvägsstation) is a railway station in the municipality of Kirkkonummi, Finland, between Siuntio railway station and Tolsa railway station. Kirkkonummi railway station serves as the terminus for the U and most L trains of the Helsinki commuter rail system and is also served by Y, X and L trains to Siuntio. Most of the long-distance trains between Helsinki and Turku used to stop at Kirkkonummi station until 2016. Nowadays only some few long-distance services make a stop at Kirkkonummi. The station has also three VR bus departures to Karis via Ingå on weekdays.

St. Michael's Church in Kirkkonummi is a gothic, medieval stone church in the Finnish municipality of Kirkkonummi. The church was built somewhere between 1400 and 1490. The original medieval brick walls are still to be seen in the eastern part of the church.Kirkkonummi Church is consecrated to St. Michael. The church is shared by the Swedish-speaking parish of Kirkkonummi (Swedish: Kyrkslätts svenska församling) and the Finnish-speaking parish of Kirkkonummi (Finnish: Kirkkonummen suomenkielinen seurakunta).Originally the church was Roman Catholic but after the Reformation it was converted to Lutheranism.

Upinniemi (Swedish: Obbnäs) is a village in the municipality of Kirkkonummi in southern Finland. It is located approximately 12 km south of the municipal centre.Upinniemi is dominated by the Finnish naval base, which is one of the largest military installations in the country. The headquarters of the Gulf of Finland Naval Command is also located there. Beginning late in World War II, from 1944 to 1956, the Soviet Union operated the Porkkala Naval Base in this area, under a lease with Finland.

The Metsähovi Radio Observatory is an astronomical observatory in Finland, affiliated with the Aalto University. Its main premises are in Metsähovi, Kirkkonummi, 35 kilometers west of the university's Otaniemi campus. The observatory currently operates a 13.7 metres (45 ft) diameter radio telescope, and has an array of four 5.5 metres (18 ft) dishes to serve as a compact interferometer called the 'Metsähovi Compact Array', as well as several smaller radio telescopes and instruments. The observatory is staffed by some 20 researchers, engineers, and students, mostly from Aalto University and the Finnish Centre for Astronomy with the ESO. The observatory has been operational since 1974 and active in the fields of: Fundamental research in radio astronomy Development of instruments needed in radio astronomy Development of methods for radio astronomical measurements Applied scientific computing Space research Education The current research focuses on variable quasars, active galaxies, solar observations, and very long baseline interferometry. Metsähovi is as a member of the European VLBI Network. The observatory observed the near-total Solar eclipse of March 20, 2015 at 11.2 and 37 GHz.

Fanjunkars is a former military croft and a museum in Siuntio, Finland. The croft is known as a former residence of the national writer of Finland, Aleksis Kivi. Kivi lived in Fanjunkars, which was owned by Charlotta Lönnqvist, between 1864 and 1871 and wrote some of his most famous work there, such as The Seven Brothers.The name Fanjunkars comes from Fanjunkare, an old Swedish military rank. This is due to the fact that Charlotta Lönnqvist's father was a Fanjunkare in the Swedish army and the area of Finland was a part of the Kingdom of Sweden until 1809. Lönnqvist's father was a war veteran and had served during the Finnish War in 1808. He owned the croft until 1850.

Siuntion asemanseutu (Swedish: Sjundeå stationssamhälle; both lit. Siuntio station area, also simply known as Siuntio) is a village and administrative center of the Siuntio municipality in Uusimaa, Finland. At the end of 2020, the village had 2,284 inhabitants. It is located near the Highway 51 between Helsinki and Raseborg. As its name suggests, the village has developed in the immediate vicinity of the Siuntio railway station along the Coastal Railway, from where the X and Y trains go to Helsinki.The village mainly has small houses, but there are also a few apartment buildings in the area. Basic services are available in the area, such as S-market grocery store, restaurants and cafés, pharmacy, barbershop, kindergarten, nursing home, two primary schools, municipal library and health center.
