Glasson Dock, also known as Glasson, is a village in Lancashire, England, south of Lancaster at the mouth of the River Lune. In 2011, it had a population of around 600.

The River Conder is a river in the English county of Lancashire. The source of the River Conder is a spring at Conder Head on Black Fell near Littledale, from where the stream briefly runs north, then west through Cragg Wood. The river then skirts around Quernmore in a southwesterly direction through a disproportionately wide valley, created by glacial action.The river runs through Ellel and Galgate before turning to the north-west, flowing into the Lune estuary between Conder Green and Glasson Dock. The river supplies most of the water for the Glasson Branch of the Lancaster Canal.The name of the river was recorded in the 13th century as Kondover and Kondoure, being derived from Brythonic and meaning "crooked waters".

Thurnham is a civil parish in Lancashire, England. It is situated on the south side of the River Lune estuary in the City of Lancaster, and contains the villages of Conder Green, Glasson Dock, Lower Thurnham and Upper Thurnham. The parish has a population of 595, increasing to 651 at the 2011 census.Thurnham is where the River Conder flows into the Lune. The main road through the parish is the A588. It was formerly served by the London and North Western Railway's Glasson Dock Branch railway line, which had three stations in the parish: one at Conder Green, the terminus at Glasson Dock and a private halt at Ashton Hall. To the east of the village stands Thurnham Hall, a 17th-century country house converted to a resort hotel. It was originally the residence of John Pierce Chamberlain Starkie (1830–1888).

The Stork (formerly known as the Stork Hotel) is a public house and inn in the English village of Conder Green, Thurnham, Lancashire. A former coaching inn, the building dates to 1660. It is now a Grade II listed building.The building stands on the northern side of the curved junction of Corricks Lane and the A588, about 350 feet (110 m) north of the River Conder and about 800 feet (240 m) north of Conder Bridge, another Grade II listed structure.In January 2020, a fire severely damaged the building. It reopened in August 2021, after twenty months of repairs and renovations.

Conder Bridge is a Grade II listed single segmental arch bridge spanning the River Conder in the English village of Conder Green, Thurnham, Lancashire. The structure dates to the early 19th century. The bridge carries the vehicular and pedestrian traffic of the A588. The bridge is flanked by piers, with abutments also punctuated by piers. It has a solid parapet with a string course and weathered coping.

Ashton Hall railway station was a private halt in Lancashire, England. Located on the Glasson Dock branch line, it was opened to serve Ashton Hall, the home of Lord Ashton, a local businessman. The house is now Lancaster Golf Club.

Cockersand Abbey chapter house is a mausoleum in the English village of Thurnham, Lancashire. A Grade I listed building and formerly part of Cockersand Abbey, it dates to 1230. It was used as a family mausoleum by the Daltons of Thurnham Hall during the 18th and 19th centuries. The land was acquired by the Daltons shortly after 1556, when Robert Dalton married Ann Kitchen.Cockersand Abbey has existed from the late 12th century. The building is constructed of red sandstone rubble and has a slate roof. Its plan is octagonal although the west side has been squared off. At some point (probably the mid-18th century) it was converted into a family burial chamber.

Overton is a village and civil parish in Lancashire, England, south west of Lancaster and south of Morecambe between Heysham and the estuary of the River Lune. Neighbouring villages include Middleton and Sunderland Point; Glasson is on the opposite side of the river. The parish had a population of 1,069 at the 2011 Census.
