Qingpu District, is a suburban district of Shanghai Municipality. Lake Dianshan is located in Qingpu. The population of Qingpu was counted at 1,271,424 people in the 2020 Census. It has an area of 675.11 km2 (260.66 sq mi). Qingpu District is the westernmost district of Shanghai Municipality; it is adjacent to Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces. Around the lake are a number of tourist scenic areas, all complete in tourist facilities. Among the tourist areas is the waterside town Zhujiajiao, a major tourist destination in the Shanghai region. There are currently 21 domestic travel services, three international travel business departments, 14 star-rated hotels, and 3 AAAA-grade tourist spots in Qingpu District.

Huzhu Pagoda (simplified Chinese: 护珠塔; traditional Chinese: 護珠塔; pinyin: Hùzhūtǎ) is a Chinese pagoda located on Tianmashan Hill in the Songjiang District of Shanghai. It is known for its leaning angle, surpassing that of the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Caoying Road (Chinese: 漕盈路; pinyin: Cáoyíng Lù) is a station on Line 17 of the Shanghai Metro. The station is located at the intersection of Yinggang Road at Caoying Road in the city's Qingpu District, between Qingpu Xincheng and Dianshanhu Avenue. It opened with the rest of Line 17 on 30 December 2017.

The Basilica of Holy Mary, the Help of Christians (Latin: Basilicæ de Nostra Domina Mariæ Auxiliatricis Christianorum) also known as the National Shrine of Our Mother of Sheshan (Chinese: 佘山進敎之佑聖母大殿; pinyin: Shéshān jìnjiào zhī yòu shèngmǔ dàdiàn) is a Roman Catholic Marian shrine in Shanghai, China. Its name comes from the locality of Sheshan Hill in Songjiang District, to the west of Shanghai's metropolitan area. Pope Pius XII raised the Marian shrine to the status of Minor Basilica via his Pontifical decree Compertum Habemus on 12 September 1942. The shrine was previously romanized as Zosé Basilica (pronounced "Zoh-seh"), using the Shanghainese pronunciation of "佘山" (Sheshan). A venerated statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary under the title of Mary Help of Christians is enshrined within as the patroness of the basilica, along with the recently reconstructed icon of Our Mother of Sheshan, both venerated by Chinese Catholics.

The Sheshan Observatory (Chinese: 佘山天文台; pinyin: Shéshān tiānwéntái) is an observatory on Sheshan Hill in Shanghai.

The Intercontinental Shanghai Wonderland (Chinese: 上海洲际世茂仙境酒店; pinyin: Shànghǎi Zhōujì Shìmào Xiānjìng Jiǔdiàn), also known as the Tianma Pit Hotel, Shimao Quarry Hotel, Songjiang, or Pit Pegasus Hotel (Chinese: 天馬深坑大酒店) is a hotel and earthscraper in Songjiang, Shanghai, China, 50 kilometres (30 miles) from city center. The hotel, which started operations on 20 November 2018, is managed by InterContinental and was built on the site of an abandoned quarry and, notably, features some rooms underwater. The design and construction process of the hotel was fraught with many delays prior to 2013. Since 2013, however, the design optimization and onsite construction progressed at a fairly swift pace. The fit-out work carried out in 2017 and finally opened on 20 November 2018.

Sheshan, known in Shanghainese as Zose, is a pair of hills in Songjiang District in western Shanghai, China. The two hills are distinguished as East and West Sheshan, although the more important western hill is also called Sheshan on its own. East Sheshan has an elevation of 100.8 m (331 ft) and West Sheshan has an elevation of 118 m (387 ft), it is the highest point in Shanghai, there is a small valley between them. The area around the two hills is a forest park.

Family Inverted Coaster is a steel roller coaster at Happy Valley Shanghai in China. It is the first Family Inverted Coaster manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard.

Diving Coaster is a steel Dive Coaster at Happy Valley Shanghai in Songjiang, Shanghai, China. It was manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard and opened on August 16, 2009.

The 2018 WGC-HSBC Champions was a golf tournament played from 25–28 October 2018 at the Sheshan Golf Club in Shanghai, China. It was the tenth WGC-HSBC Champions tournament, and the fourth of four World Golf Championships events held in the 2018 calendar year. Xander Schauffele beat Tony Finau at the first hole of a sudden-death playoff after making a birdie 4 to Finau's par 5. Defending champion Justin Rose finished third, four strokes behind.

The WGC-HSBC Champions was a professional golf tournament, held annually in China. Inaugurated in 2005, the first seven editions were played at the Sheshan Golf Club in Shanghai, then moved to the Mission Hills Golf Club in Shenzhen for a single year in 2012. It returned to Sheshan Golf Club in 2013. Since 2009, it was a World Golf Championship event. Played in November, it was the fourth tournament on the WGC calendar along with the WGC-Dell Match Play, the WGC-Mexico Championship, and the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational events, all in North America. The field consists primarily of players who have won the top rated tournaments since the previous WGC-HSBC tournament, supplemented by other leading players in the world rankings and money lists of the major tours. The WGC-HSBC Champions had the highest prize money in East Asia. Originally in 2005, it was US$5 million, and grew to $7 million when it obtained WGC status in 2009, $8.5 million in 2013 and in 2019, the prize money was $10.25 million. Only the CIMB Classic, CJ Cup, Zozo Championship and BMW Masters have had similar purses in the region.

The 2017 WGC-HSBC Champions was a golf tournament played from 26–29 October 2017 at the Sheshan Golf Club in Shanghai, China. It was the ninth WGC-HSBC Champions tournament, and the fourth of four World Golf Championships events held in the 2017 calendar year. Justin Rose won his first HSBC Champions and second World Golf Championship.
