Randolph House, also known as Laurel Hill Mansion, is a historic mansion in east Fairmount Park, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Ormiston Mansion is a 2+1⁄2-story, red brick, late Georgian period house located in east Fairmount Park, Philadelphia. The house was constructed in 1798 with a large wooden porch in front and a smaller porch in the rear. Many of the original interior features remain including fireplaces with marble mantles and a Scottish bake oven. The cedar shake roof includes a widow's walk and Federal-style dormers, while six large shuttered windows are on each side of the house, and five on the front. The first floor interior includes a large drawing room spanning the entire width of the house, a kitchen, and a dining room with a large door leading to the rear porch. The back of the house overlooks the Schuylkill River.Edward Burd, a Pennsylvania Supreme Court prothonotary, built the mansion on a plot of 45 acres (18 ha) above the eastern bank of the Schuylkill River. Burd named the house after the village near Edinburgh where his father, James Burd, was born. The city of Philadelphia purchased the mansion and land from Burd's heirs in 1869 to expand Fairmount Park. The house was used as a residence for park employees, and later as the Fairmount Park Art Association's meeting house. The Royal Heritage Society of the Delaware Valley—a privately funded non-profit organization dedicated to preserving Pennsylvania's British heritage—has preserved and maintained the house for the city since 1982. The organization hosts various events at the house to which both society members and the general public are invited.Ormiston Mansion is registered on the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places and is an inventoried structure within the Fairmount Park Historic District entry on the National Register of Historic Places.

Parkland, Philadelphia is a section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States which follows the Schuylkill River. It contains many of Philadelphia's major parks and encompasses a portion of Northwest Philadelphia. Fairmount Park and Wissahickon Valley Park are located in this section.

Centennial Grounds or Centennial Park was a baseball ground in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was home to the short-lived Philadelphia Centennials baseball club of the National Association during the 1875 season, so it is considered a major league ballpark by those who count the NA as a major league. It was also the site of one home game by the Athletics. It occupied the same block as the later Recreation Park.

The Strawberry Mansion Bridge is a steel arch truss bridge across the Schuylkill River in Fairmount Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the United States.It was built in 1896–1897 by the Phoenix Iron Company, Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, under private ownership by the Fairmount Park Transportation Company, which operated trolleys over the bridge, with pedestrian and carriage lanes on the north side. Trolley service was discontinued in 1946. The Philadelphia Historical Commission designated the bridge as a historic structure on September 7, 1978. From 1991 to 1995, the bridge was closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic, while it was restored to its historical appearance. As of 2010, the bridge remains in use, carrying vehicular and pedestrian traffic. The Strawberry Mansion Bridge was featured in "Always Sunny in Philadelphia" S9 E12. During "Mac Day", the gang makes a Project Badass tape, featuring Mac (Ronald MacDonald) and Mac's cousin, Country Mac, jumping off the bridge into the water.

Rockland Mansion is a 2+1⁄2-story Federal-style mansion located in east Fairmount Park, Philadelphia, overlooking the Schuylkill River. The land was bought by a Philadelphia merchant named George Thomson in 1809. The mansion was completed circa 1810 using rubble stone for the masonry work which was then finished with stucco scored to resemble cut stone. Thomson used the house as a summer residence for about five years and then sold it to another merchant named Isaac Jones in 1815 whose son sold it to the city in 1870. The house and original plot of 26 acres (11 ha) of land are situated adjacent to the Mount Pleasant Mansion along Mount Pleasant Drive.Beginning in 2002, the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia (PCoP) entered into a long-term lease arrangement with the city, via the Fairmount Park Conservancy's Historic Preservation Trust. Between 2002 and 2005, PCoP restored the house with help from the trust. PCoP relocated their administrative offices to the mansion, and schedules educational and community-related activities there. The city's leasing agreements for Fairmount Park properties require lessees to commit financial resources to help with restoration and ongoing maintenance work. The lessees are not permitted to alter the historic architectural features of the structures, and must allow for public access.Rockland Mansion is registered on the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places and is an inventoried structure within the Fairmount Park Historic District entry on the National Register of Historic Places.

Fairmount Park is the largest municipal park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the historic name for a group of parks located throughout the city. Fairmount Park consists of two park sections named East Park and West Park, divided by the Schuylkill River, with the two sections together totalling 2,052 acres (830 ha). Management of Fairmount Park and the entire citywide park system is overseen by Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, a city department created in 2010 from the merger of the Fairmount Park Commission and the Department of Recreation.Many other city parks had also been historically included in the Fairmount Park system prior to 2010, including Wissahickon Valley Park in Northwest Philadelphia, Pennypack Park in Northeast Philadelphia, Cobbs Creek Park in West Philadelphia, Franklin Delano Roosevelt Park in South Philadelphia and 58 additional parks, parkways, plazas, squares and public golf courses spread throughout the city. Since the 2010 merger, however, the term "Fairmount Park system" is no longer used by the Parks & Recreation department, and the adjacent Wissahickon Valley Park and all other park areas are considered completely separate entities.

Boelson Cottage is a Dutch and Swedish-style colonial era cottage located in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia. The 1+1⁄2-story gambrel-roofed fieldstone cottage was built sometime between 1678 and 1684. The cottage is situated on the west bank of the Schuylkill River within a plot of 100 acres (40 ha) of land granted to John Boelson in 1677 by the Swedish colonial court in Upland, Pennsylvania. Boelson's cottage is the oldest extant structure in Fairmount Park.The name of the cottage varied over the years, including Pig's Eye, Tom Moore's, Aunt Cornelia's, and Belmont Cottage—the latter due to its proximity to Belmont Mansion and its possible use as housing for servants of that mansion. The name is also sometimes spelled, or misspelled, Boelsen.A wooden shed was attached to the south wall of the cottage around 1950. A group called the Friends of the Philadelphia Parks renovated the cottage in 1989–90 and then used it as their office. The original floor, windows, and doors were replaced, as was most of the original woodwork and ironwork.The cottage is registered on the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places and is an inventoried structure within the Fairmount Park Historic District entry on the National Register of Historic Places.

Historic Strawberry Mansion is a summer home in East Fairmount Park, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. It was originally named Summerville by Judge William Lewis who had it built sometime between 1783 and 1789.

The Lilacs is an early 18th-century farmhouse located in northwestern Fairmount Park, Philadelphia. The house has a large addition constructed in the early 19th century. The name was derived from the many lilac bushes on the property.The original owner was Morten Garret who bought a 151-acre (61 ha) plot of land in 1711. The farmhouse was built in two sections with the southern section constructed by Garret sometime shortly after the land was purchased. The attached section was added by Garret's descendants in 1832, as an extension from the northeast wall of the original house.The house was owned by the Garret family until the city purchased the land in 1869 to expand Fairmount Park. A rowing club called the University Barge Club began using the house sometime after 1871 as its upstream social clubhouse along the Schuylkill River. In the 1990s, the house was used as a halfway house for juveniles.As of 2018, a sign at the driveway entrance to the house stated Outward Bound—Lilac House—3600 Greenland Drive. The same organization leases and maintains the Porter's House of the demolished Sedgeley Mansion, also in Fairmount Park on the opposite side of the river.The Lilacs house is registered on the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places and is an inventoried structure within the Fairmount Park Historic District entry on the National Register of Historic Places.

Mount Pleasant is a historic mansion in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, atop cliffs overlooking the Schuylkill River. It was built about 1761–62 in what was then the countryside outside the city by John Macpherson and his wife Margaret. Macpherson was a privateer, or perhaps a pirate, who had had "an arm twice shot off" according to John Adams. He named the house "Clunie" after the ancient seat of his family's clan in Scotland.The builder-architect was Thomas Nevell (1721–1797), an apprentice of Edmund Woolley, who built Independence Hall. The house is administered by the Philadelphia Museum of Art in Fairmount Park.It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1974.

Columbia Railroad Bridge, also known as "Columbia Bridge", is a 1920 concrete arch bridge in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, that carries CSX Trenton Subdivision rail lines over the Schuylkill River. Located in Fairmount Park, upstream of the Pennsylvania Railroad Connecting Bridge, it is the third railroad bridge at the site. Near its east abutment are the Schuylkill Grandstand (for viewing rowing regattas) and the John B. Kelly statue.
