The Pietzmoor (literally "Pietz Bog") is a bog southeast of the town of Schneverdingen, Lower Saxony, Germany.

Langeloh is a village within the town of Schneverdingen in the district of Soltau-Fallingbostel in the North German state of Lower Saxony. The village lies about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) south of the town and is linked to it by the district roads (Kreisstrassen) K26 and K33. The parish is characterised by fields and moors with farm woodland and borders on the Pietzmoor.

Heide Park Resort, commonly known as Heide Park, is a theme park in Soltau, Lower Saxony, Germany. With an overall area of over 850,000 m2 (210 acres), it is the largest amusement park in Northern Germany and among the largest in the country. It is part of the British-based Merlin Entertainments which operates 123 attractions in 24 countries.

The Battle of Soltau (German: Schlacht bei Soltau) took place on 28 June 1519 and was the military climax of the Hildesheim Diocesan Feud which lasted from 1519–1523. Some sources describe it as "the last knights' battle" (Die letzte Ritterschlacht). It is also often described as the "last medieval feud".The feud had all the hallmarks of a typical dispute between noble families of that time. At its heart was the division of revenue and territorial claims, mainly on the land of the Bishopric of Hildesheim. Two aspects, however, made it rather different. Firstly, the main protagonists on both sides were members of the princely House of Welf family and secondly, the warring parties simultaneously supported different pretenders to the imperial elections of the Holy Roman Empire. The Brunswick-Calenberg party, with dukes Henry II of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel and Eric I of Calenberg at its head, favoured the Habsburg Charles (later Emperor Charles V), the Lüneburg-Hildesheim coalition under Duke Henry the Middle and Bishop John IV supported the election of Francis I of France as the new emperor.Despite their convincing victory at the Battle of Soltau, the Lüneburg-Hildesheim alliance eventually lost the war against Brunswick and Calenberg, when Emperor Charles V banned both Henry, Duke of Lüneburg, and Prince-Bishop John.

The Brunau is a small river, 10.3 kilometres (6.4 mi) long, in the district of Soltau-Fallingbostel, on the Lüneburg Heath in North Germany. It rises south of Niederhaverbeck in the Lüneburg Heath Nature Reserve. Near Hützel, a village in the northeastern part of Bispingen, it discharges into the Luhe from the left bank. The water quality of the worsens as it flows downstream from north of Bispingen to its confluence with the Luhe, going from Class II: moderately polluted, to Class II – III: critically polluted.

Scream is a gyro drop tower at the Heide Park amusement park in Soltau, Lower Saxony, Germany. It was constructed at a cost of €7.5 million by Intamin between October 2002 and April 2003, repurposing the structure of the Aussichtsturm II observation tower which opened in 1992. With a height of 103 metres (338 ft), riders plunge down 71 metres (233 ft) up to speeds of 98.3 kilometres per hour (61.1 mph). Scream, which has a diameter of 2.8 metres (9 ft 2 in), stands on a foundation of 8 metres (26 ft) in depth and 10 metres (33 ft) in diameter. The travelling time is 82 seconds, two seconds of which are the actual fall. The deceleration phase lasts for 5.5 seconds.

Flug der Dämonen (German for "Flight of the Demons") is a Bolliger & Mabillard Wing Coaster at the Heide Park Resort amusement park located in Soltau, Lower Saxony, Germany. The attraction officially opened to the public on March 29, 2014.

Krake (German for "octopus") is a steel Dive Coaster roller coaster at Heide Park in Soltau, Lower Saxony, Germany manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard. It is the first roller coaster of its kind in Germany. At a cost of 12 million euros, the roller coaster features floorless trains, 476 m (1,562 ft) of track, and a maximum height of 41 m (135 ft). The attraction officially opened to the public on April 16, 2011.

Toxic Garden (formerly known as Limit) is a steel roller coaster located at Heide Park, Germany. It opened in 1999 and is a standard 689m layout Suspended Looping Coaster manufactured by Vekoma. In March 2023, Heide Park announced that Limit would be renamed to Toxic Garden, with new thematic elements and a partial replacement of the ride's track.

Colossos - Kampf der Giganten, German for Colossos: Battle of the Giants, is a wooden roller coaster located at Heide Park in Soltau, Lower Saxony, Germany. Manufactured by Intamin, the roller coaster opened as simply Colossos in 2001. Unlike traditional wooden coasters, its track was prefabricated, laser-cut in a factory to a high degree of precision, with sections designed to snap together like Lego pieces. Some of its planks were tightly bonded in multiple layers instead of traditionally nailed together by hand. The roller coaster closed in 2016 due to deteriorating track conditions and reopened in 2019 after refurbishment.

Deimern is a village in the borough of Soltau in the Heidekreis district in the German state of Lower Saxony. The village has a population of 198 (as at: 2003). The hamlets of Timmerloh, Harmelingen and Grasengrund belong to the parish of Deimern. Deimern lies on the Lüneburg Heath northeast of Soltau. The district roads (Kreisstraßen) K 2 and K 3 cross near Deimern. The parish chairman is Jürgen Wallmann (as of 2019). The Ehbläcksmoor nature reserve is located in the parish.

Lüneburg Heath Nature Park (German: Naturpark Lüneburger Heide) is a nature park, a form of protected environment, located in the Lüneburg Heath in northern Germany. It has an area of 1,077.9 square kilometres (416.2 sq mi). The centre of the nature park is the Lüneburg Heath Nature Reserve with an area of 23,440 hectares (57,900 acres).
