The Globe Works is a former industrial works in Accrington, Lancashire, England, that following refurbishment contains rented offices and conference rooms and is known as the Globe Centre. The centre is made up of the remainder of The Globe Works, which created machinery and looms for the cotton industry under management of the Howard & Bullough firm.

Accrington Library is a Carnegie library located in the town of Accrington, Lancashire. In 1904 a sum of £7,500 was offered to the town by the industrialist and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie for the building of a new library. Following an application for more funds this offer was increased to £10,000. The building itself was opened in January 1908. It was managed by Accrington Council until 1974 when this role was taken on by Lancashire County Council.

St Christopher's C of E High is a Church of England High School with academy status located north of Accrington in Lancashire, north-west England. The school was founded in 1958, and in 2005, the school earned Technology College status. The Sunday Times ranked it 49th in 2007, and 30th in 2006, in its "Top 50 state secondary school with no sixth form" category. The school has received an 'Outstanding' inspection report by Ofsted. The school was formed in 1978 by the merger of the Holy Family, a secondary modern school, and the Paddock House Convent Grammar School, a former direct grant grammar school. The current Headteacher is Xavier Bowers. In 2019, Paul Dugdale was appointed Deputy Headteacher. In April 2020, Caroline Farrelly was appointed Deputy Headteacher. Farrelly was previously an Assistant Headteacher at St Monica's High School in Prestwich and Subject Leader of English at The Hollins.

The ground was renamed the Wham Stadium as part of a three-year £200,000 sponsorship deal with What More UK Ltd. It was previously also named the Fraser Eagle Stadium and the Interlink Express Stadium.
