Burwood Heights is a suburb in the Inner West of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is located 10 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district and is situated within the local government area of Municipality of Burwood. Burwood Heights is a residential suburb with no shops, schools or any public buildings. The postcode is 2136, the same as neighbouring Enfield. Burwood is a separate suburb, to the north.

Ashbury is a suburb in the Inner West of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It lies in the local government area of City of Canterbury-Bankstown with some areas in the Inner West Council and is about 10 kilometres south-west of the Sydney central business district. The postcode is 2193, the same as neighbouring Canterbury and Hurlstone Park. Ashbury is mostly residential and has no commercial centre, although there are a few shops on King Street. Its major landmark is Peace Park, the highest point in the Canterbury local government area. Ashbury derived its name from the two neighbouring suburbs Ashfield and Canterbury. It is near Canterbury Park Racecourse.

Canterbury Park Racecourse is a racecourse for horse racing in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is located 11 km (7 mi) from the Sydney Central Business District, in King Street in the suburb of Canterbury, adjacent to Canterbury railway station. The racecourse is operated by the Australian Turf Club.

St. Cloud is a heritage-listed mansion located at 223 Burwood Road in the Sydney suburb of Burwood in the Municipality of Burwood local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was built by George Hoskins. It is also known as St. Cloud and Site and St Cloud and site. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Canterbury Olympic Ice Rink was an ice sports and public ice skating centre, located in the Sydney suburb of Canterbury, New South Wales. It hosted a number of major ice hockey games, including East Coast Super League games. The venue offered a wide variety of activities including ice skating lessons, birthday parties, figure skating, speed skating, synchronised skating, public skating sessions. It was also the home venue of the Sydney Figure Skating Club, Sydney Arrows (speed skating), Canterbury Ice Hockey Club and the East Coast Super League, Sydney's elite ice hockey tournament.In August 2022, Canterbury Olympic Ice Rink was shut down after structural engineers found the roof at risk of collapse. As part of its WestInvest program, the NSW Government has granted $17.7 million for an upgrade to the ice rink expected to complete by late 2024.

Pratten Park is a sporting complex in the Sydney suburb of Ashfield. It was officially opened on 12 September 1912 by the Governor of New South Wales, Frederic Thesiger. Pratten Park was named after Herbert Pratten, an alderman and then mayor of Ashfield. The first ever rugby league match at Pratten Park was Western Suburbs vs Annandale on 24 August 1912, with a crowd of 500 people. Annandale won the match 15–6.The park is best known as the original home of the Western Suburbs Magpies rugby league team, who played there from 1912 to 1966 and then sporadically from 1971 to 1973 and in 1977 and 1985. The final first grade rugby league match played at the park was on 18 August 1985, where Wests played Penrith, who won the match 42–16. In total, 353 first grade games were played at Pratten Park. Pratten Park has also hosted National Soccer League matches and was the home ground of Sydney Olympic FC for a brief period in the 1980s. The ground has also been used for lower league NSW Soccer matches. Its highest attendance for a rugby league match was 12,407 in a 1964 New South Wales Rugby Football League season game between Western Suburbs and St George, and 13,556 for a soccer game in 1984 between Sydney Olympic and APIA Leichhardt FC.The ground is still home to the Western Suburbs District Cricket Club. Over the years, the club has had Michael Clarke and Bob Simpson among its playing ranks.

Croydon railway station is a heritage-listed railway station located on the Main Suburban line, serving the Sydney suburb of Croydon, New South Wales, Australia. It is served by Sydney Trains T2 Inner West & Leppington line services. The station was designed by NSW Government Railways and built from 1892 to 1927. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

The Croydon Sewer Vent is a heritage-listed sewer ventilation stack located on a small parcel of land adjacent to 12 Paisley Road in the Sydney suburb of Croydon in the Municipality of Burwood local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed and built by the Metropolitan Board of Water Supply and Sewerage in 1922. It is also known as Sewer Vent and Paisley Road Sewer Vent. The property is owned by Sydney Water, a statutory corporation of the Government of New South Wales. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 15 November 2002.

The Priory is a heritage-listed residence at 213 Burwood Road, in the Sydney suburb of Burwood in the Municipality of Burwood local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was built in 1877. The Priory and its grounds was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Campsie railway station is located on the Bankstown line, serving the Sydney suburb of Campsie. It is served by Sydney Trains T3 Bankstown line services.

Woodstock is a heritage-listed mansion in the Sydney suburb of Burwood, New South Wales, Australia. It was built between c. 1866 and 1873 by Edwin Thomas Penfold and changed hands a number of times before being acquired by Burwood Council. During World War II the property was acquired by the Australian Government for military purposes. The Victorian Italianate villa is listed on the (now defunct) Australian Register of the National Estate and the Burwood Council local government heritage list.

Canterbury Boys' High School (CBHS) is a public secondary day school for boys located in Canterbury, a south-western suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is located near the Canterbury Park Racecourse and about 200 metres north of Canterbury Girls' High School. Established in January 1918 as the Canterbury Intermediate High School, Canterbury Boys' High School is part of the St. George Region of high schools, and currently enrols around 470 students from Years 7 to 12. Almost 90 per cent of the students at Canterbury Boys come from a non-English-speaking background.
