Daglish, Western Australia

Jolimont is a small western suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located within the City of Subiaco, although a small portion of the suburb is administered by the Town of Cambridge west of the CBD. The suburb is believed to be named after the Melbourne suburb of Jolimont, which was in turn named after "Jolimont" - the residence of Governor La Trobe. Its postcode is 6014. Jolimont only has a small residential section, with most of its land area taken up with parks and sporting facilities, although its catchment area takes in blocks of flats on Cambridge Street, Wembley, and the entire suburb of Daglish. The suburb has a primary school and is served by the CircleRoute, as well as being near Daglish train station. Jolimont is home to the Matthews Netball Centre and the Pat Goodridge Hockey Centre, as well as other courts and open spaces.

Daglish railway station (officially Daglish Station) is a commuter railway station on the boundary of Daglish and Subiaco, suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. Opened on 14 July 1924, the station was named after Henry Daglish, who had been a mayor of Subiaco, a member for the electoral district of Subiaco, and a premier of Western Australia in the 1900s. Daglish was a resident of Subiaco for 22 years before he died in 1920. The station consists of an island platform accessed by a pedestrian underpass. Two small buildings are on the platform which operated as a parcels office and ticket office until 1970. The station is only partially accessible due to a steep access ramp and lack of tactile paving. Daglish station is on the Fremantle and Airport lines, which are part of the Transperth public transport network. Services on each line run every 12 minutes during peak hour and every 15 minutes outside peak hour and on weekends and public holidays. At night, trains are every half-hour or hour. The journey to Perth station is 4.9 kilometres (3.0 mi) and takes 7 minutes.

Cases of complicated pregnancy in regional Western Australia are usually transferred to KEMH by the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

The Hole in the Wall Theatre was a small theatre in the Perth suburb of Leederville, Western Australia, operating from 1968 to 1984. In 1984 it was relocated to a civic auditorium in Subiaco which, as of 2020, is known as the Subiaco Arts Centre, a heritage-listed building, managed by the Perth Theatre Trust.
