Sagaponack Historic District

Built in 2003, Fair Field is a large private house in the Hamptons, Long Island, in New York State in the United States. The main house is approximately 64,000 sq ft (5,900 m2), and the total floor area is 110,000 sq ft. It is valued between $267 to $500 million for tax purposes. It is owned by junk bond financier Ira Rennert.

Sagaponack is a village in the Town of Southampton in Suffolk County, on the East End of Long Island, in New York, United States. The population of the village was 770 at the 2020 census.

The Hedgehog and the Fox is a late Minimalist sculpture of Richard Serra, installed between Peyton and Fine halls and the football stadium at Princeton University in 2000. It was commissioned for the university by Princeton graduate Peter Joseph in honour of his children some years before his death in 1998.

Nathaniel Rogers House is a historic home located at Bridgehampton in Suffolk County, New York. It is a Greek Revival–style residence that significantly expanded and altered in about 1840. It is a 2+1⁄2-story temple front and flanking 1-story wings. the full facade portico has four Ionic order columns supporting a full entablature with no pediment. It once had a cupola and balustrade, but they were removed after the New England Hurricane of 1938. For many years it was operated as a hotel and restaurant named "Hampton House."It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.The house was purchased by the Bridgehampton Historical Society (now The Bridgehampton Museum) and donated to the town of Southampton, New York. The Society plans to renovate the house and use it as its headquarters and for exhibits.

Thomas Strong House is a historic home located at Wainscott in Suffolk County, New York. It is a 1+1⁄2-story, L-shaped, gable-roofed, cedar shingle clad structure originally built about 1695 and continually lived in by eight generations of Thomas Strong's descendants.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Wainscott was a former railroad station on the Montauk Branch of the Long Island Rail Road in Wainscott, New York, United States. It was opened in either 1897 or 1898 by the Brooklyn and Montauk Railroad, rebuilt in 1915 by the LIRR, and closed in 1938. Wainscott station has the distinction of being the only Long Island Rail Road station to have segregated waiting rooms, in spite of the fact that the New York State Legislature never allowed segregated facilities. Some sources claim that another station was segregated, but this has yet to be confirmed. In early 1938, the station was closed due to the effects of the Great Depression, and was moved to a beach, where it has served as a private residence since then.

Candy Kitchen is a historic luncheonette in Bridgehampton, New York. It opened on May 2, 1925, and has operated continuously as a neighborhood restaurant known for counter service, house-made ice cream, and a prominent neon sign on Montauk Highway.

Dia Bridgehampton, previously known as the Dan Flavin Art Institute, is a museum in Bridgehampton, New York run by the Dia Art Foundation. Originally built in 1909 as a firehouse, the building was sold to the First Baptist Church of Bridgehampton in 1924. The church renovated and expanded the building in 1947 and used it as a place of worship through the mid-1970s. The congregation grew and, in 1979, they sold the building to the Dia Art Foundation. Dia renovated the building into a single-artist museum for Dan Flavin as well as a rotating exhibition space. The building re-opened in 1983 as the Dan Flavin Art Institute. The second floor and vestibule of the museum house ten works by Dan Flavin on permanent display and the first floor houses a gallery for temporary exhibitions. In addition, the rear of the second floor holds a display of historic memorabilia from the First Baptist Church including the church doors, a frosted glass window, a large neon cross, and the 1947 church cornerstone. In early 2020, Dia stopped calling the building the "Dan Flavin Art Institute" and began calling it "Dia Bridgehampton". The Flavin works within the building are now considered the "Dan Flavin Art Institute" while the rotating gallery makes up the rest of "Dia Bridgehampton". This museum is one of the twelve locations and sites the Dia Art Foundation manages.

Bridgehampton is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) on the South Fork of Suffolk County, New York, United States. The population was 1,756 at the 2010 census.Bridgehampton is in the town of Southampton, on Long Island. Shortly after the founding of Southampton in 1640, settlers began to move east to the area known by the Shinnecock Indians as Sagaponack and Mecox. At the head of Sagg Pond, the settlers established a community called Bullhead, later renamed Bridgehampton—after the bridge built across the pond. Sagg Bridge was built in 1686 by Ezekiel Sandford. The bridge was the link between Mecox and Sagaponack and gave this locality its name of Bridgehampton. The notorious criminal and memoirist Stephen Burroughs lived there during the 18th century and helped found the town's first library in 1793; the volumes he purchased could be found in the Bridgehampton Public Library as late as 2002.Bridgehampton became the home of the horse show known as the Hampton Classic and a road racing course that figured prominently in American automobile racing. It’s also home to one of the last Kmart stores in the United States.

Dunehampton is the name of a formerly proposed village in the Town of Southampton, in Suffolk County, on the South Fork of Long Island, in New York, United States. It was proposed in 2003 to be incorporated along 5 miles (8.0 km) of Atlantic Ocean beach between Village of Southampton and the hamlet of Wainscott. The attempts to incorporate were unsuccessful.
