Belridge Secondary College is a comprehensive independent public co-educational high day school, located in Beldon, 3.8 kilometres (2.4 mi) south of Joondalup in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. Opening in 1990 as the Belridge Senior High School, the school's catchment area covers much of the northern part of the City of Joondalup. As of 2022, the school had an enrolment of approximately 1,143 students between Year 7 and Year 12. Belridge Secondary College offers specialist programs including the Academic Extension Program (for gifted and talented students from Year 7-10), the BSC Cricket Academy, the BSC Fashion & Design program (WA Department of Education approved Specialist Programs), and the BSC Netball Academy.

Edgewater railway station is a railway station on the Transperth network. It is located on the Joondalup line, 23 kilometres from Perth station serving the suburb of Edgewater.

Craigie is a northern suburb of Perth. Craigie was chosen as a suburb name in 1970 and honours an early councillor of the City of Wanneroo who did work in developing the City. Craigie is one of the four "Whitfords" suburbs that resulted from the State Government rezoning a large area of coastal land for development in 1969. The suburb once had a senior high school, Craigie Senior High School, which was opened in 1976 only to be closed again in 2003 following a decline in student enrolments. Students were shifted into Padbury Senior High School or Belridge Senior High School. Padbury itself closed in 2011.

Craigie Senior High School was a public co-educational high day school, that was located in Craigie, a northern suburb of Perth, Western Australia. The school was established in 1976 and was closed in 2003; and subsequently demolished.

Heathridge is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located 33 kilometres (21 mi) south of Yanchep within the City of Joondalup.

Edgewater is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia 23 kilometres (14 mi) north of Perth's central business district. Edgewater was approved as a suburb name in 1974, and its local government area is the City of Joondalup. It is named after its location on the western edge of Lake Joondalup, which is surrounded by Yellagonga Regional Park.

Connolly is a northern suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located within the City of Joondalup adjacent to Joondalup's central business district. It was built in the late 1980s as a golf course estate. Its eastern border backs onto the Mitchell Freeway. Many homes feature on the edges of Connolly but the homes bordering the golf course are generally larger and more affluent. The suburb was named in honour of John Connolly who held land in the area in 1838. Connolly was a private in the 63rd Regiment who arrived in the colony in 1829 and who farmed at Upper Swan and Bindoon after being discharged in 1834.

Ocean Reef Road is an arterial east-west road in Perth, Western Australia. It is located within the northern suburbs of Perth, from Ocean Reef in the west, to Landsdale in the east, with a portion travelling northwards along the coast to Iluka.

Edith Cowan University (ECU) is a public university in Western Australia. It is named in honour of the first woman to be elected to an Australian parliament, Edith Cowan, and is the only Australian university named after a woman. Gaining university status in 1991, it was formed from an amalgamation of tertiary colleges with a history dating back to 1902 when the Claremont Teachers College was established, making it the modern descendant of the first tertiary institution in Western Australia.The university offers more than 300 courses across two Perth metropolitan campuses, in Joondalup and Mount Lawley, and a regional campus in Bunbury, 200 kilometres (120 mi) south of Perth; many courses are also offered for study online. Additionally, the university has partnerships with several education institutions to conduct courses and programs offshore. Whitford (or Whitfords) is a metropolitan area north of Perth, that loosely comprises four suburbs: Hillarys, Kallaroo, Craigie and Padbury. Whitford is not in itself a 'suburb', though Hillarys, Kallaroo, Craigie and Padbury share the same postcode of 6025. Whitford was also the former electorate name of this area. The seat was renamed Hillarys at the 1996 election.The 'centre' of the Whitford area could be seen as the main road intersection of the east–west Whitfords Avenue (Route 83) and the north–south Marmion Avenue (Route 71). Many businesses and locations (shops, schools, churches etc.) in the surrounding suburbs use either 'Whitford' or 'Whitfords' in its name. Some examples include Westfield Whitford City (formerly Whitford City Shopping Centre), Whitford Catholic Primary School, Whitford Church, and Whitfords railway station.

Hodges Drive is a main west–east road in Joondalup, north of Perth, Western Australia. It begins in the suburb of Ocean Reef at a T-junction with Ocean Reef Road and runs through the residential areas in Ocean Reef, Connolly and Heathridge, before terminating at Joondalup Drive. The road continues from there as Grand Boulevard. Hodges Drive is a four lane dual-carriageway for its entire length.
